Called to clarify a reservation, spoke to an unprofessional and poorly trained Indian rep, and he dropped the call. Called back, spoke to a better but not ideal manager. Got nothing resolved.

This is the first time for me, so I don't know until we are going end of March. One point doesn't clear is about carry-on baggage, there's no explanation it's including or not.

Not nice because I didn't let the permit to pay. The company charged.

Terrible! Wanted to swap the cities after booking online. Called and got a very rude and condescending customer service rep. She refused and insisted on charging me an amount equating to a brand new air ticket on top of what I already paid. This would amount to two tickets.

SmartFares are CHEATS!
On their website, they displayed a competitive price in Canadian Dollars. I proceeded to pay, believing I was purchasing the tickets at that exact Canadian Dollars price. I then received from SmartFares my booking confirmation showing a price in US Dollars. When I converted this US Dollars price stated on my booking confirmation into Canadian Dollars, I discovered to my shock and horror that THE PRICE I ACTUALLY PAID IN CANADIAN DOLLARS, was approximately $100 Canadian Dollars MORE THAN the price displayed online in Canadian Dollars. I was shocked! On calling SmartFares to complain, I was told that the difference in price was due to bank conversion charges. But I disagreed, because the online price WAS DISPLAYED in Canadian Dollars, and if that was the case, the most I should have paid in Canadian Dollars was the displayed Canadian Dollar price, subject to minor exchange rates. As I told them, on other travel ticket websites, when a price is displayed in Canadian Dollars, that is the amount you pay in Canadian Dollars. But paying $100 Canadian Dollars more than the displayed Canadian Dollar price was CHEATING! I was so disgusted that not only did I regret earlier giving them a great review on price, (that review was done BEFORE I READ MY BOOKING CONFIRMATION), but I also proceeded to CANCEL my booking, even though it meant that I ended up loosing over $300 Canadian Dollars in cancellation fees and charges. I WOULD NOT advice anyone to use SmartFares, as they are CHEATS. They are clearly NOT transparent in their pricing.

After i committed and paid the tickets for me and my family, i received a notification from your end that this class is no more, and you have to pay 195USD more for booking under higher class.

I made an online booking on Friday, received an email of the confirmation on Saturday, and then on Sunday received an email to ask if I had received the confirmation.
The response of smart fares is exceptionally fast. Even on Sundays they do send out an email.
