Everyday a new problem, things that were specified when you buy such as limit in size to make backups or problems with too many cpu usage in websites that do not have any acess. They do not offer support, just keep giving you excuses and procastinating and you wont be able to change host after you buy

Like many others, I believed the hype about this host, they are recommended literally everywhere. But as I have since discovered, this is because everyone and their mum has a Siteground affiliate account, and every review you read if clickbait and gets paid if you signup via their links.
I really have nothing positive to say about my experience with Siteground, too many issues and the customer service simply do not care and are only intereste din upselling you to a more expensive service that will not solve the issue.

Siteground is expensive. The price of it is high comparing to other hosting and its configuration. Besides, there may have a business with codeable and for which they have partnership with codeable.io. Codeable is expensive but it has less skilled programmers. Most of the programmers of codeable don't know simple SSH. Codeable estimates $300 to migrate a simple woocommerce site which can cost highest $50 in upwork or freelancer. Even as much as I know, siteground itself migrates big sites for $25 only. Siteground recommends to its clients to use codeable for which its clients are getting great loss. As most cliens of siteground are not expert in technology, it is hard for them to understand and so they depends on its recommendation. For this reason, I can think that they are not honest and moral to their clients.

Once they were excellent when i started hosting multiple sites. I mean they were 10/10. If you want to raise a question, if you have any kind of problem, support was there to solve the issue. But One day i ran into serious issue and i contacted the support. They didn't respond well, They blame its theme fault, But that theme i was using with other hosting services and it was working fine. They didn't help. My Heart got broke. I mean if you are beginner then its best choice but if you are mature in this work then i would not recommend you the siteground.com
Siteground got my business for 2 simple reasons. They helped me transfer all of my data from my website to the new website for free and they were cheaper. It was pretty much a no brainer because of the lack of set up fees and having someone help me out. They even worked in the middle of the night because they are 24/7 support. For the price this company cannot be beat. Their dedicated hosting cost less than shared hosting from other companies. Their siteground website hosting is even cheaper and I suspect they do this at a loss to get your business in the long run.
Answer: There are certainly many other hosting companies out there, some of which appear cheaper, but there is a difference between low cost and good value. I have not found a hosting company that is better than sitegound

We were sorry to hear you are are not satisfied with the support you have received from our team. We reviewed your case and we would like to add some clarifications to the points you have raised.
We have a fair usage policy for our shared hosting accounts that is in place to ensure all our clients get equal performance for their websites.
We allocate a dedicated amount of resources for each account and we describe the specifications in terms of CPU and RAM available on our full features product page. You can access that information prior to purchasing an account with us.
An automatic system monitors resource consumption 24/7 and when a single account reaches close to the allocated amount we send you a notification via email. If you do not take any action to mitigate the excessive usage, the account will be temporary suspended. We can see in ticket 3353602 our techs explained that even though the number of visitors on your websites is low, the PHP executions generated by the traffic are quite high which is a result of the back-end operation and functioning of the WordPress application, such as the "cron" functionality. We have identified the issues affecting the performance of your website and provided steps on how to optimize the processes that are generating excessive server load to help you restore normal service for your account.
With regard to your comment about backups, as per our terms on shared hosting accounts, we have limits that are in place to maintain the stability of the infrastructure and prevent one user's activities affect negatively other accounts hosted on the same server. Please note that if an attempt is made to create a backup with a size larger than 5GB it will consume a lot of system resources and thus endanger the overall performance of the shared server. In addition, given the big data volume, the integrity of such backups cannot be guaranteed.
To help you with your request to generate a full cPanel backup our team identified the biggest files in terms of size that you can remove as a way to reduce the space used by your account so that you are able to generate a backup successfully. As the account size still remained above the limit we have suggested the option to use our paid service and explained how you can request it in ticket 3342519. Unfortunately, we cannot agree with the claim that we have not assisted you with your request for generating a full cPanel backup, as we have also suggested alternative methods for you to consider, like using the cPanel file manager (which also provides the option to make partial backup archives of multiple files and directories at once) or a 3rd party FTP client like FileZilla.
In case you are not satisfied with the service we would like to remind you that you are able to cancel your account at any time via your Client Area.
