Mr. Stoyanov helped with with several questions and was kind to go into the filing system and make a correction. I will attempt to follow his directions, but if I cannot I'll ask for more assistance and pay for it. I intend to buy the upgraded Grow Big maintenance program so I can have his help to do small jobs in future. I'm a code illiterate and need this sort of help with small jobs which sometimes are vital to my effort toward business. HeavensWay2022.org

Every few years I have a problem with my site going down and the support at Siteground always gets me back up and running quickly. It is so stressful when this happens so I really appreciate the quick response time. Tonight I had a problem with my site and Ivan had it fixed in five minutes. For several years now I have been hosting my business on the Grow Big plan and have had nothing but a good experience. I have also used the StartUp plan for a few other sites I launched. I had the opportunity to chat with Atanas V from siteground regarding an issue we ran into with our website. I have been really pleased with the devotion and passion Atanas showed us to resolve our issues. Not only was he really charming, he was also devoted to provide screenshot and offer detailed technical feedback to really pinpoint the core of each issue. Keep up the great work! I'm a tech myself but their support is so awesome that I don't bother with my site issues I just hit them up. Liliya was my latest support person and was awesome and got me set up.
The price after 2 years is almost doubled, but if I would enjoy the service, and trust the company, I would stay. Unfortunately value/quality for me is not worth.
My most recent problem was with the support. I delated the automatic renewal and I received a receipt two days ago for a service. I contacted the support and asked to be refunded without canceling my hosting. It will expire on March 2nd. They canceled everything. I was not able to get in touch with the support on my account since I did not have any service available, so I had to sign out and chat with the sales support to be able to communicate with them. My site was down for half day.
Last year my site, without any kind of notification, had a big change. It was moved from Http to https but I had no idea. On my google console, I found more than 523 errors. I contacted the support regarding my errors and after chatting in 3 different days with 3 different people finally, one person said that the problem was due to the move from Http to https. I opened a ticket and the support, without any "sorry", said that they would replace all of the links (after 1 year) in my database configured with HTTP and change them to HTTPS. I am definitely not an expert but I contacted a very close friend who was a programmer for 15 years and now he is a manager on a big IT company and he said that this configuration should have been done in the early stage of this big change and a serious company would definitely notify the client of this change.
I sincerely lost my trust in the service and the company. I am moving to another company soon.

I've caused myself a few issues with "finger trouble" but the guys and gals ate SiteGround support just sort it out quick and easy - including sorting my htaccess file for me then and there. 24/7 really means 24/7!
My site is also incredibly fast now compared to ***-Reg who I was hosted by before. Absolutely no complaints and nothing but praise to date!
Anyone who is looking for a provider and team that ACTUALLY help and care - Switch to SiteGround. They are amazing. Lately, we have had a few complex site configurations and migrations. SiteGround and Victoria were so helpful and made what would usually be a very painful and stressful process seamless. They really do set the benchmark for how things should be and could be for you! Don't waste your time and money with the likes of GoDaddy to only be treated like a number which only when you spend more money you get serviced.

I have had SO MANY different hosting companies. Had the cheapest (and yes that turned out to be in quality as well) and the MOST expensive due to client needs. Siteground has been GREAT! Their has never been anything that the Customer Service team has not been able to resolve. Granted in some cases it took time but as long as there is a resolution and communication - that is easy peasy.
Never got a Wordpress white screen (autoupdate and the like has protected me) Now with them for 5 years and no complaints.
Wordpress issues are interesting and some you have to blame the plugin developers not the hosting company. When you know that the hosting company simply provides the DB and the space to host it then you gotta separate the parts to the right responsible party.

I received the dreaded WordPress white screen and my chest began to hurt. LOL I was in a state of panic so I opened 2 support tickets because the first ticket didn't allow enough characters to for me to explain the issues. Later I learned not to open up additional support tickets. I reached out to Siteground technical help and within 30 minutes the issue was solved. I was pleased with Siteground handling the issue as soon as I bought it to their attention.
Kristian T. Helped me to migrate a rather large WordPress site from another host to within our SiteGround GoGeek plan by using SG's WordPress Migrator plugin. Very easy, but was having a couple of questions when starting. Kristian took the time to walk me through the process. Very thankful.
Despite being an IT web professional I used the Siteground free professional site transfer service and the response was within 24 hours with the site successfully transferred from my old host with 100% accuracy. Speed of the new site is good too.

Answer: There are certainly many other hosting companies out there, some of which appear cheaper, but there is a difference between low cost and good value. I have not found a hosting company that is better than sitegound

We are sorry to hear about your difficulties.
Normally when a service is cancelled, unless you specifically request to close it at the expiration date, it gets suspended and the website goes offline. Technical support is available only when you have an active account because otherwise, the technicians have nothing to work on and hence, you had to communicate with the customer care representatives to unsuspend the service.
About the switch from HTTP to HTTPS, I would like to clarify that we are not applying any changes to the way your website is being accessed without the owner’s explicit request. Such changes are always made based on the preferences and needs of each website owner, and by the owner. As a host, we are unable to set that globally, as some of our customers prefer to have their websites accessed via HTTP, while others - via HTTPS.
Still, if you provide me with your account details, I would personally review all support and billing assistance you were given.
