I began having email problems after Siteground moved our site to a new server. It took 3 tries to get it to work right. Some of the problems, though, are my email address being blocked. When I told the tech that, he tried to upsell me to a dedicated IP. While $54/year for a dedicated IP won't break the bank, it doesn't reflect well on the company.
I used them for years. Very little trouble. The support chat is easy to use.
I use the multi-site plan and it's a good value.
SG deliver a solid technical solution, at a decent price. But their customer support is always prompt (I mean minutes) and never fails to satisfy. I should know, I call on them a few times a year, and Im with them 5 or 6 years. Well done all.

Every now and then time-critical issues rear their ugly head. A site was needing urgent migration and sadly there were a few problems along the way. Frustrating at first due to the lack of ongoing communication from Siteground, but in the end, they finished the task and did it very well. Problems happen, it's how one deals with it that counts.
Answer: There are certainly many other hosting companies out there, some of which appear cheaper, but there is a difference between low cost and good value. I have not found a hosting company that is better than sitegound

On the shared hosting plans, which we assume you are using, the sending IP addresses are shared by all users on the webserver. In some cases, when a client tries to send too many emails at once, these shared IP addresses might get blocked from a certain mail host and create problems for all other users using that IP.
The use of a dedicated IP is optional, but it can greatly improve your email delivery rate as you are only responsible for its reputation online. Hence, the suggestion of our Technical Support team.
