When thousands of people are losing their jobs & some with reduced pay really affect the family budget. From years at shopping in ShopRite my memory has been very well embedded on my normal weekly routine on what I buy. First is the deli counter. All they provide not during theses crisis is the High Enid Black Bear products. The other mid level deli meats & cheeses have increased almost 60-80% OMG! I reelecting paying $1.69 for 18ct carton of eggs, now they a $2.99.

I depended on shoprite instead of other stores.my main items they didn't give. They discard 50% of my listed ordered items. Mainly the shoprite discarded rice, oil, flour, chicken which I needed most. I will never recommend to pick up or home delivery from this shop. I will never order online again.

I had placed an order for $325 but they fulfilled only $85 worth of groceries and charged $10 internet shopping fee. To add to it, organic milk was scanned twice and I received only one gallon. We then entered the store to shop as we didn't have enough groceries. Lo behold, we found most of the items on our list. So it's clear that the missing items were in stock in the store, just the assigned shopper was clearly lazy and didn't fulfill the order. I had spent hours on their slow website searching and filling up my cart. Don't waste you time on this joke of a service.
My last ShopRite from home order, chicken was charged but was missing from our pick up.
Someone needs to make the shoppers responsible for over charging and missing items (that are in stock on shelves).

Terrible Experience

My husband placed an order and when he picked it up on the designated date he got $80 out of $180 groceries. Basically more than half of the groceries were not available. They didn't have salad, popcorn, applesauce, little Ceasar Salad dressing and all kinds of things that aren't that popular. The bananas were extra ripe and basically it needs to be eaten within a day. I understand some thing like toilet paper but 19 items not available? That's crazy. Not happy with this service.

Recently order grocery from Instracart Shoprite store, vegetables are not fresh, overcharged than label shows, gave low price grocery but charged with high price, over charged over $30. Will order from it anymore, ordered from other stores, BJ's is an excellent experience, very clear and clean receipt, everything is the same as you ordered online, so we gave delivery man extra tip and he deserves that!

Price to high

Last week I went food shopping I noticed that I paid 180.00 for my groceries when I usually paid 150.00 and when I got home I noticed that I did have a lot of stuff I think they over pricing for the stuff. I very concern about this because is not fair I love shoprite this is my favorite place to go food shopping i will be very disappointed if I found out that they over pricing the food. This is more about the corporation than any individual site. The home shopping options (pickup and delivery) are broken. They tout customer service but have no systems in place to handle any errors on their end. After hours of attempts my slot was lost after their website crashed. The cart and log show it was real and they won't correct it. I understand that these are unprecedented times, but handling system errors should be something in place even before crisis mode.

NOW they've implemented a queue system to get into the website! Yup, you can wait for hours to see that there's still no slots available. Are they that vain that they believe we're wanting to wait hours to see the new circular? The queuing should be for delivery and pickup NOT site entry! Pass the word! If it is an emergency and you stop there, I understand. Just remember when this return to normal, they did NOT care about their customers when it mattered the most!

Shop at home

Waited for 30 min before the lady actually came to my car to pickup my credit card. When asked what was taking so long she stated they were behind. I thought that was bogus since three cars pulled in 10 to 20 min after me and they got their delivery. Yeah " their behind" -- more like a horses behind!

I have been a member of the ShopRite club member for several years, staffs are always available also manages, if you have a dispute with your receipts or and item, customer service in the store, they are knowledgeable, polite and very pleasant and easy to talk to. Their sales are always GREAT. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK SHOPRITE.

Out of necessity I shopped on line Their web site is set up nicely for this. You can shop by aisle if you are familiar with the store. Did not get everything I orderd and got what I didn't order, such as salted instead of unsalted butter. My unpackaged lettuce was tossed in shopping bag, not proper bag. My fish was prepacked which I clearly said fresh fish. Fish looks old. Not fresh. They forgot my ground beef. Called store, put me through to Personal shopper which got me no where. Never again. If I use online again will give Safeway a try. Word of caution, don't perfection from Shoprite Timonium Md HA

I like ShopRite from home and every person who has delivered has been absolutely wonderful. However, ShopRite from Clark is always out of the stuff that is on sale. My last four orders we're missing things that were on sale because they didn't have it this is very frustrating to me. Yes they will call and offer a substitution but the substitution is three times the price of what was on sale. Once again, today I ordered the Life water bottles that were on sale and they were out of them with the excuse that they sold quicker than they thought they would. Come on now it's life water if you put it on sale people are going to buy it as it is expensive to begin with so a sale makes it a great purchase! I think Clark ShopRite has to get it a little bit more together.

Went there on 12/1 around 9 am in the morning and I have never seen such a disaster in a supermarket. Not a single pack of chicken cutlet not to mention pork and beef. Boxes All over floors causing a safety issue! Compared to store in Carmel the Yonkers store is a disgrace and heads should roll! Should of taken pics, I worked in a Supermarket while going to college and I can tell you this store is Not being run right!

Customer courtesy poor!

I been shopping at Shop-Rite for years. Always problem with checkout prices and rude cashiers. I had a disagreement over a coupon with cashier and manager was called. I was treated very poorly. I was trying to explain to the manager what happened and he told me " you can leave". Manager had no skills in dealing with a customer. I never go back to that store. Must be the worst place to work all employees rude, miserable and the store is dirty and not merchandised very well when compared to other Shop-Rite stores. Poor management makes poor employees. Manager should be fired. Store is in Rio Grande NJ.

This place is a total rip off. When you reserve a delivery time slot, they give you a two-hour time frame in which they promise to deliver your groceries. Well, my groceries came over an hour past the promised time slot, with no phone call or text to notify me of the delay. I called twice to find out what was going on, and the staff just defended the delivery person stating that she left with more than enough time, she's on her way, she had a lot of deliveries to do, etc. The fact that she arrived over an hour late (more close to an hour and 15 minutes late) speaks for itself. Next, she has the music in the ShopRite van blaring as if she's having a block party in my neighborhood, AND she leaves the truck van wide open, which makes it worse. Of course, everyone has a right to listen to music on their own time in their own space, but to pull up in my driveway and leave your van wide open with the music on high max so that you can hear it for at least a mile? Get some class. Then I discover that I have two items missing from my delivery. I call ShopRite yet again, and the person who took down my complaint said that a manager will get back to me the NEXT DAY. What? My delivery is over an hour late, the ice cream that was a part of my order was completely melted into milkshakes that's how long my groceries were just sitting around, I'm missing two items from my order, and you can't take care of it right away or at least THE SAME DAY? This place is a joke. It's now the next day, and still no word about a refund for the missing items WHICH I PAID FOR. Don't use this service unless you want a heart attack and a headache. There are so many other services out there that are efficient and are priced better. ShopRite makes a bunch of mistakes and gives you an attitude when you confront them about it. I'm a paying customer, plain and simple. If you can't deliver on your promises, then be polite, apologize, refund my money, and move on. This is basic business 101.

Awful! Website glitches like mad, when you call them you get 100 dumb
Questions and when they are done asking they put you on hold then tell
You what you already new and reported to them in the first place. Dumb
AND stubborn (the usual combo) as can be - they think they are giving
You a favor by talking to you! Never will I ever even consider dealing
With them again - what an awful waste of time and mental energy!

What A Joke

Visiting from Florida & tried their shop from home at Shoprite of Fairless Hills. What a joke. I ordered 12 cases of Pa Dutch Diet Birch Beer, which is not sold in Florida, to take back home with us. Ordered at 7:00 AM for pickup between 6:30 & 7:00 PM Received a call a little after 6 PM saying they were running behind & it wouldn't be ready at 6:30.
OK, no problem, so we arrived at 7:35 & went in to find they didn't have it & substituted Diet Mug Root Beer? (I did not list a substitute). They called at 7:23 to tell us this! So they didn't know they didn't have it when they called at 6 to tell us the order would be late? Don't they have computers to keep track of their inventory? How could they possibly, after 12 hours, not know they had no stock? I think their system needs a bit of work.

The store is horrible. Overpriced and garbage food for the high price. I have seen a mouse run under a huge crate that had coke on it. STAY AWAY FROM THE DELI AND SEAFOOD DEPT. The seafood has a bad smell when you cook it. The deli case is never cleaned, the cold cuts get bad the following day. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. STAY AWAY FROM SHOPRITE,

My first experience with Shop Rite home delivery resulted in a two-hour late delivery, three phone calls from the store, a promise to refund the delivery fee (which was still charged to my card) and then received the wrong order. Considering I only ordered 3 items, it was pretty hard to get it wrong but they did regardless. A total waste of time that I won't repeat. I'll stick with Fresh Direct.
