Since they did the new upgrade last month, I have been unable to pay for my online order. I have been getting a message on the final step to pay for the order. I get "There is a problem with contacting payment payer. Please try again later or refresh your screen." I tried doing both and it didn't work. I have been using this same debit card for years with no problem. Have reported this issue several times, but no one ever gets back to you. Each time after waiting over 30 minutes, I've been told that they will have to turn this over to their IT department.
Over 2 weeks and still can't put in an order for delivery. Meanwhile have missed the specials because of this. How long will it take for someone to get these problems fixed? They should go back to the old app until they've TESTED and got the bugs out of this update.
A few weeks ago, they updated their website and their app, so now nothing works properly. Everyday, it's a different issue and those of use who depend on grocery delivery have had to take our business elsewhere. Apparently, not enough of us have been inconvenienced, so they repeatedly ignore the issues. I'm disappointed in the lack of customer care - it's just a shame to see loyal customers ignored.
I'm writing to to advise of my terrible experience at the Shoprite in Sparta. I'm a single parent making next to nothing and I went to the Sparta store last Saturday to shop. When it was my turn to check out, there was a major issue with your credit card system causing a delay. I had already swiped my card no it wasn't going thru. The supervisor at that station asked for me to try again. A total of 6 attempts were made. I asked if my card would be charged multiple times and was told no. This situation affected several customers the same way. Finally i was told to try again and this time it went thru after about 20-25 min or so. I left and checked my bank account when I got home and discovered my credit card had been charged 6 times in the amount of $186.17. That's over $700! This situation is STILL not resolved and now I have insufficient funds charges and nothing in my account! As I said before, I do not make a lot of money so this issue is unacceptable! I have been inconvenienced as a result of this store and everytime I call then store I'm always being told someone will contact me. Please help me get this resolved and I would like compensation for this ridiculous aggravating mess - THESE INSUFFICIENT FUNDS CHARGES ARE GETTING INSANE!. I'm in a customer service/sales position at my job and I would never let one of my customers go thru this, especially for this length of time.

End street johanesburg shoprite outlet useless it takes me 3hours to collect money. Do you think this is the only thing we are doing for a day. Was suppose to collect and go to work had to loose my salary for today and reserve for tommorow. Useless place will never use shoprite again
I have been a customer for over 30 years. We save up our receipts to take off our usually $200 plus order and on May 2,2022 we were told we could only use $12 worth out of about $50 deposit receipts. We were told for years they would take ALL of them as long as we were buying food. The cashier Patricia apparently didn't know and took about $25 off our $213 bill and was aggravated she had to void half of them. She didn't realize I was standing behind her when she told the manager a blatant lie that I had given her a hard time since I got on line. I never said a word to her until the problem with the refunds happened. Needless to say, I will not be shopping there anymore.
ShopRite application for delivery online is the worst application ever. It's a crap app. I place an entire order pay and the order never goes through but yet they take out my snap money all the time.
Today I am having a most difficult time trying to sign in to my account, ShopRite has screwed up again by changing their website. I started trying to sign in at 9am this morning, it is now 12:13pm and still cannot get signed in. I even had to change my password and not because it needed changing it was because the ShopRite site would not let me sign in until I changed it. Not happy! And still can't sign in!
They always mess up the orders and when you tell them no to replace an item they give you the replacement to anyways. Also I don't know who backs the items because half the bags come ripped because they put all the heavy items together. Calling shoprite at home is a hassle because the number redirects to the wrong department. Avoid if you can.

I order groceries from Shoprite and get them delivered because i'm disabled. They always arrive on time. If there are substitutions it usually makes sense and you get to approve or disapprove it via text.
The woman bringing out my order told me I had to load the groceries and then bring the cart back, which I did. She then proceeded to bring out other orders load them into the vehicles and take the cart back. When I let her know I had a 2nd order for the same pickup time she told me the order wasn't scheduled until an hour later, I then explained no it had to be delivered before that time! She then looked at me and told me the system was down to take my 1st order and deliver it then come back. Ok, I did this in less than 10 minutes, the 2nd order was miraculously available. When the woman brought out my 2nd order she parked the cart without saying a word and walked away!
The worst customer service experience I have encountered in a long time, if you don't like your job…find another!
I just purchased some beef chopped meat from Fairlawn ShopRite and I opened the bag and smelled fart then I opened the meat and it was worst and it said the meat was wrapped today so I was a Lil confused but never again. So please be aware.
3 days late for my delivery I called my payment never posted they called the wrong phone number several times even though I've been ordering for 5 years they had a very very old phone number and they told me they couldn't change it they left me with condiments literally to eat because I recently had surgery and my food all went bad while I was away and both times that I called they hung up on me this goes for my local store and the national chain you are better off going anywhere but here I just have nothing else available to take my payment form so I am SOL and stuck with these idiots good luck and don't go here to any location for a delivery I'm not able to go to a store myself so I rely on this maybe I should go ask the local homeless if they have an extra can of something for me I think I would have far better luck
They changed there hours and not opening until 7 instead of 6 walked in this morning very little meat to choose from no breasts no thighs barely any juice empty shelves its ridiculous won't waste my time going there anymore would rather pay a little more for what I want then go there been going there for over 15 years, Walmart opens at 6 I will go there nice corporate move
I was checking out this morning from the North Greenbush, NY ******* location and tried to use a coupon and asked the cashier, Damon is his name and he said I can't use it until my next visit and I said that is ridiculous and he actually told me that I am ridiculous. I am so appalled by his attitude. He continued to carry on and told me to pay for my stuff and get out. I have submitted a complaint about rude and unprofessional cashiers in the past. Obviously Shop Rite doesn't care who is paying their bills because they continue to allow such rude individuals to represent their company. This time I will tell you I will do my shopping at Market 32. I have never received such unprofessional customer service and I'm done with this location!

And a alarming rate of them who still continues to work around other staff members and customers. This is a very serious issue that needs to be addressed. The lives of people and their family.
Neptune NJ Shoprite needs to take serious precaution for your store. There are alot of employees at your location who have been exposed with covid 19! Why is nothing being done about this serious matter? NEPTUNE NJ Shoprite needs to take this Virus serious y'all guys have employees who tested positive and are still working amongst staff and consumers in your store location aint no telling how many employees and customers they have exposed already. I was disappointed by the deceptive packaging of Shop Rite Flemington Bow and Basket fresh chicken breast. On the surface $1.99/lb on sale seems fair. The package has the chicken breast trimmed fairly well ---- that is until you open the package. Once you turn the chicken over, there are globs of fat that need to be trimmed. I weighed the fat that needed to be trimmed and it was literally a little over 1/3 of the package weight. I thought it was a fluke or a game they were playing because it was on sale. I purchased a second pack 2 weeks later at $2.49/lb. Same issue with chicken only being trimmed where it is visible in the package. Having to throw away 1/3 or more of the purchase weight is no bargain. I will never buy their fresh chicken again. Instead, I'll spend the extra money to buy from a company where I'm paying the price per pound for chicken not fat. I find what Shop Rite Flemington (an maybe other locations) is doing is deceptive and this should be looked into by the authorities. I can accept a little fat not trimmed as being an oversight. What they are doing is clearly a means of having their shoppers think they are paying less than they actually are. They should be ashamed of themselves.

Instacart is far better, cheaper, faster, and much more reliable than ShopRite. You can order groceries the same day, the delivery fee is much, much cheaper, and you can actually tip on your credit card, unlike ShopRite, which gives you no option to do that.
Answer: 7 days a week. You have to reserve a time slot in advance. They have time slots throughout the day. However, the delivery service is unreliable.
