Don't like store

Shoprite on island ave near Lindbergh its clean and all n neat but I wanted to see the store manager and he was not there.some of manager which he was the not the manager of the store did not help.he was a young kid n I was explaining to him about how my lunch meat wasn't packaged right n all he did was look at me crazy! I will never ever go back to that store again.my beef bacon from the deli was not packaged right. Half of the bacon was unwrapped.will not be going back there again! N I have a picture of the bologna beef that I shouldn't had gotten

What can I say? They move location of food daily so you don't know where to find anything. They mislabel prices all the time and make you go through a half hour process to confirm they MISLABEL PRICES! The automated check out doesn't work and rushes you to check out. Over and Over and Over it tells you to do this or that. As a final moment, after paying them $100 for 6 items your reciept hits the floor! Go spend $100, put up with automated check out, work for shoprite, and then bend over and pick up your reciept off the floor. The owners are A-Holes! I have seen them at the store acting like KINGS shifting where food is positioned. I really dislike this place and looking for other options. Just perfectly 2023! Pay me $100 while I put you to work! SMH!

On August 15 at 6 pm I proceeded to buy at the ShopRite located in Sucasuna. I always enter with my two dogs in a doggie car, not only in this establishment but in all the ones in the area such as Walmart etc. And nowhere have they ever asked me for documents that they are service animals since at no time did they touch the supermarket floor and even less have the ShopRite carts been used to enter them. Just because this woman is uncomfortable with pets.
I call on all pet owners to speak out on the matter and this woman be penalized and not buy on this site again

I placed an order for delivery on Sat 8/5. They were supposed to arrive between 1-3 but when they still hadn't been delivered by 3:45, Icalled the store &was to were running behind. My groceries were finally delivered at 3;45. But I did not receive a text notifying me that they were delivered. Nor did the driver even knock on my door or ring my doorbell. The driver just left all my bags on the ground outside my door & a lot of my groceries were frozen or refrigerated items &itwas quit warm out. This is the 2nd time this happened so Iwill NOY be ordering from Shoprite

My name is Rehana and I am Muslim. July 19 at around 7.45 I went to ShopRite. I called on the duty worker during self-checking, but he did not come and verbally helped me. Again I called then very rudely he came and helped me. Then I call the on-shift manager supervisor and complain, she said "Please stay away you spite on my face". I was in shock then I said nothing and left the store. Why they were behaving like this was because I was in my HEJAAB. I am not a well-looking personality. But they hurt me today.

The deals at this supermarket are always good,but the customer service needs improvement for real."95%" of the "Cashiers" at this location don't understand the importance of a "Thank you" & just hand you a Receipt...(Disgusting and Sad) white plains doesn't act that way.(smh) we can go elsewhere & the reason they have hours. Customer service training really needed. Courtesy not much better either.

Will not be buying anything from this store Prices are outrageous, employees are nasty When I asked the guy at the fish dept why the cases where covered He gave m attitude and said Because their covered.Really if I was his manager he would have been fired ShopRite of stirling is the worst ShopRite around They need to hire employees that actually work other than walk around and talk to each other Rather than helping check outs Hey saker family,just want to say screwd up this store

To suffer but what other option is there. There was an ambulance at Shop Rite the other day.

MIssing items
June 1, 2023

Made an online purchase, invoice was sent and you can see that replacement were made. No one bothered to call to say such. Had to call, received none of the item that were substituted. When they finally sent the rest of my items, the delivery person left them out on the porch in the sun (chicken, fruit, bacon). Tomatoes were over ripe and packed at the bottom of bag, tomato soup is what arrived. At least when you order from ACME they call you about subs and send an email for approval. Guess im going back to ACME.

Coupon fraud

ShopRite offers coupons but when you get to the store there is nothng on the shelf for that coupon. If it's a digital coupon, you don't get the digital coupons priice with the rain check. Very often the things that are on sale in the flyer are not marked sale in the store.cou[

Slow Service

I always shopped Medford store but stopped for several reasons. First I have a handicap sign and everytime I go to park the handicap spots are filled with cars with no handicap signs. Very frustrating. The deli wait is ridiculous. I can shop the whole store before my order is ready. Shelf's are empty. Lines at cash registers are always long. Prices fair. Pharmacy is excellent. They are always helpful especially Alissa and Lois.

STOP THE NONSENSE

There is a stigma out here. Let me tell you ahead of time. Every black person is not a criminal, or uneducated or misinformed! I am tired of shopping, and I go to pay for my things at the self-checkout and here comes (Her/Him,) standing directly behind me asking me unnecessary questions Like, " Do you need bags"? Like you don't see those big bags in my cart! Do you need help? Obviously if I needed help, I would have gone in the line that does that! I watched these people hover over black people and when a caucasian person come over and they don't take two steps to stand over them! WOW! I've seen it time and time again. We are already being made guilty before we have had a chance for them to see. Why? Shoprite is discriminating against black people. And yes, I asked her why doesn't she stand over the white people when they come through checkout? Of course, I didn't get an answer! It has happened to many times to me for me not to say something about it! Stop stereotyping black people! Every black person is NOT a criminal. I stick to the law, and I work in this field. If you're going to judge, then judge everyone equally!

Fair Place To Shop

I use the location in Paramus, NJ. The prices are fair when comparing with other chains. Staff is usually friendly but avoid interacting with the deli staff as much as possible. I opt to purchase the pre-sliced items just to avoid them. There's a lovely lady named Lisa in the bakery area that's always helpful when needed.
Overall, my best choice in the area.

Avoid!

I lost my authorized user AMEX card when my father passed away in Dec of 2022. Needing a debit or credit card and having neither and needing to pay my cellphone bill, I decided to buy a pre-paid Mastercard debit card from ShopRite. I paid $ 208 for it ( $ 200 for the card and $ 8 to activate it). I tossed it in the drawer for a week. When I decided to use it, I activated it online as per the back of the card and within an hour someone ( looks like an insider job to me) got the number, went shopping and left me with 16 cents.

As I never knew this happened, when I tried using it the next day to buy groceries and I was told there was only 16 cents, I asked to speak to a manager. Two came out, and two assistant ones as well, and between the 4 of them, nothing was resolved. They said it was not their fault and basically ' too bad, so sad ' for you.

Totally unacceptable. You need to held to account if you sell something that is so high risk ( I know it know, not before). As I am a customer there since the day they opened, a good 23 years if not more, I should have been given a full refund either in cash, check or gift card. They need to stand behind what they sell. I used to shop there daily, now if I go twice in a month, it is a lot. They do not deserve my money.

Horrible website

Since they changed the website last year it is impossible to order online. You can't order half the things you want, for instance when you type in mushrooms it does not show the ones i am trying to order. Another thing that drives me absolutely nuts is that they show some things in ounces, gallons, liters, pounds, grams, quarts, pints, and so on, stick to one measurement on an item

Missing Items

Ordered groceries from shoprite & two of 4 items ordered was reported by shopper but 2 additional items were missing turkey bacon & split pea soup with ham. The worst part was upon delivery I noted that all items weren't their and was told everything was there.
