LiveAquaponics can't refund my money after the order couldn't be filled, due to us canceling our credit card. They stated that Shopify has our money and are unable to refund it. Costco canceled our Costco credit card because we canceled our membership. I would definitely not use Spotify due to the inability to retrieve my refund or ability to contact anyone at the company.
I paid for an inactive Shopify store for 6 plus months as I worked on my website. Now that I'm ready to activate my store, Shopify can't reactivate it. Their tech support was a joke, as they kept telling me to repeat the same steps although they weren't working. They eventually stopped communicating with me, which I guess means time to litigate?
After spending hours opening my store. I contacted all of my customers to let them know. One of my customers went on and placed a large order. The next day Shopify closed my store. Stating it was too much of a risk for them. Now they are dragging their feet on issuing a refund to my customer. There is no direct number to contact for customer service so in order to speak with someone you have to chat. As a business that handles customers small business we should be able to calm and speak with someone when there is a problem. I ended up going with Go Daddy not had a problem. I'm able to call when I have any issue or don't understand something and they are great with helping.

Llevan más de 4 días y nadie en soporte tecnico nos puede ayudar. De verdad no recomiendo que utilicen a shopify para abrir una pagina web.
We utilized Shopify's services for quite some time. However, upon deciding to transition to a different provider and closing our store, we were surprised to find that they charged our card for an annual fee for the subsequent year. Unfortunately, our efforts to resolve the issue, which included spending over 90 minutes in a chat conversation, were not fruitful. I advise potential users to be cautious when considering an annual subscription. The upfront cost may seem more affordable, but you could run into complications should you decide to change providers before the subscription period ends.
Never received my refund after not using there service. Definitely a scummy company. Will try to keep as much of your money as possible even if you don't use there service. Extremely slow customer service really shows there idea of how important there customer base is.
They are legal theives with their policy - Stole my money frm a Subscription I paid in advance $300 I closed out my company cause business was not going well and they did not refund me the addtional months I had paid in advance. They said due to their 30 day policy. The are lega thieves! DO NOT USE SHOPIFY! HIGH NOT RECOMENDED!

So I basically got robbed from Shopify for Months I paid in advance that I can not use perfect, I will give Shopify I very negative review and post how awful your company is on social media and I will never use you guys again this highly disrespectful and abusive to clients. This is Theft! A policy made to be a legal theft!
We are STILL waiting to hear from Shopify regarding OUR money being held by for 8 days without explanation. Small businesses cannot function with Shopify holding funds -without warning or reason.
The fact that you cannot call support or speak to a human is INSANE. They only communicate via chat or email. This is unacceptable. We are actively in the process of finding a new platform for our business. Consider yourself warned.

A few days ago I opened a new store through shopify, since yesterday 23.06.2023 the website and the platform are no longer working, I contacted them and it remains to be seen whether they will solve it in a short time. I am posting the conversation to give you you too with your opinion.
They don't care if their sellers are scammers or something, the just want to get the commision of every sell. I my case I bought a product in a shopify ecommerce but the seller never send to me the product and dont reply my messages. I contact with shopify support but they only make waste my time and never help me.
Website went down and and trying to get help is nearly impossible. They wont let you talk to a live person adn the people over chat give you wrong information.
I had a problem logging into my account. I contacted customer service through chat, that is because Shopify makes it impossible to talk to a real human. I talked to Marvin, possibly the most incompetent Customer Dis-Service person I have ever seen. After an hour plus of chat that went nowhere, he said he would escalate the issue and that I should expect an email from someone to help me resolve the problem. Ten days later, yes that is 10 days later, I get an email telling me that help has arrived. If I had not resolved the problem on my own, I would have been out of business. This is not the first time this has happened but this time it was the worst time. I truly would not recommend using Shopify by anyone since their customer service is the worst. If you have a problem, you are out of luck and on your own. What a shame, they went from being truly good to being the worst in a matter of two years. A victim of the pandemic.
First day I opened my store on Shopify I was starting to configure my page and added my recently purchased domain to my Shopify store. I added my payment details and instantly my store became "Inactive" and I no longer have access to my Shopify backend nor my domain. Its been 2 weeks since this happened and I keep getting strung around by customer service reps being told that someone from another team will reach out to me. No one has reached out yet 2 weeks later and I can't talk to anyone that is actually capable of helping. They only have a chat system with incompetent people on the other end. I asked to speak to a manager and the chat rep said there is no manager available and closed the chat. Im stuck between a rock and a hard place and my domain (which I am paying Google for) is stuck on my Shopify backend. I had always heard great things about Shopify and, low and behold, there are tons of horrible reviews on this site about it. I should've looked elsewhere before using Shopify. What a disgrace of a website.
They don't tell you that you have to initiate search engine registration, so I went thru the entire trial period with no hits at all. Stayed on the lowest cost option and do some research on how it's done manually. Start the process and 90 minutes later, after updating descriptions and SEO and registering for an analytics account, etc, etc, etc... I come to find out I can't even get registered on search engines without upgrading my account from 'less-than-basic' to Basic. This is in spite of being willing to pay a higher per-transaction fee for the lower cost of a 'let's try it out' plan.
Let me say that again - They BLOCK search engine results unless you pay for a higher tier - even if you don't even know if it will be a productive marketplace for you. And you don't find any of this out until you create the account and set up the site!
Brutal policies. They will actively HURT your sales opportunities until you pay them EXTRA (not just the 5% transaction fee, but even more), just to act like a company that cares about your success.
We selected Shopify to sell our pet products *******@frenchiesglobe our troubles started with the name they couldn't fix it it kept going back to my personal name I filed bbb complaints no response I tried their technical support no help they fixed it once some how a few days later it went back they kept charging both us and the customers the info kept getting lost so orders kept getting delayed their platform kept having bugs or crashing they allow any vendor to connect to your store and bill you so be careful and when some extra third party charge doesn't get paid they close your site even if it's an error on their part
Therefore I strongly suggest you never deal with them if you have issues please inbox *******@rychernandez I have started working with FTC, FCC, BBB and all Attorney Generals across all USA to bring about the biggest class action lawsuit ever filed. #boycottshopify
Shopify promises 24/7 assistance but, it is impossible to get someone to help you. I have been trying to resolve an issue for several weeks and it takes days to respond to an email Currently our website does not work and they are unwilling or able to help us to resolve the issues that would get it working again. No one cares, no one takes notes from one interaction to the next. No one will EVER pick up the phone to have a conversation or answer questions. They are holding our account hostage and we are paying for it. Awful, uncaring service. Worst service I have ever received from a company EVER. Beware and move on to another company if considering this type of service.
Made an order on one of the stores fashion centre co no order number was received. Took my money and vanished.did not even received confirmation of the order nor how to track.
Recently quite Shopify and they refuse to refund my money! $500! DO NOT USE THEM! After an hour and a half spent on the phone with them and a dozen emails. Terrible company a cash grab.
Answer: Shopify is not a scam. Some sellers that use the platform could potentially be scammers.
Answer: Google ads are integrated with shopify so it's pretty simple. You can list and sync products on eBay directly from your shopify store. However you also need an eBay account which is separate.
