Out of 7 items that were purchased. 6 arrived broken. Don't order any glass or stoneware. Strange the items come from different states and wrapped all the same way poorly. No protection between the items. So if you got stoneware with a lid. They will break each other because very thin layer packed between them if plastic wrap. Box way too large for items. So they just bounce around inside. Breaking! Not enough wrap around items. Wrap on top but none on bottom. No fragile sticker. They have no training.They don't care. The items didn't cost them anything, so why would they?

Horrible customer service

They list everything As is. Then they go ahead and let you pay top dollar for a broken item that should never have been listed. Last purchase I made I heard nothing for a week. After 4 attempts at customer service with no response.I call the actual store. Leave a message. Then get a terse reply. You have been issued a refund. Wtf?

I am a reseller and purchased over $2000 worth of products to resell. I have received most my orders and most of their products are either getting returned or trashed. The worst products are their men's suits that they advertise in very good condition but showed up with ten holes in them. Yeah because we all see men walking down the street with ten holes in their suits and say wow look at his nice suit. Or below and Armani jacket listed in excellent condition see photo below. Then you reach out to customer service and no response. I finally just filed fraud charges with one of the credit cards I used and provided my credit card company with e descriptions of the items sold to me and photos of the actual products that arrived. Surprisingly the credit card company took my side and said goodwill is known to have a lot
Of chargebacks on online purchases. Do not waste your money

Please read all the recent reviews. There are so many issues with this site and the different locations not being honest or accountable! Many of them are not truthful about the condition or damage of the items before shipping and many will throw expensive items into thin shipper bags without any protection whatsoever and don't care that they get damaged even if they charge a "handling" fee! There are so many complaints and they make you have to dispute or put in a claim with your payment institution because they don't care!

So let me remind you that I just had spent 600 dollars on there crappy site and I had bid on 3 other items and I had won the bids and it especially states that you have 7 days to make the payments and it had only been 3 days and they decide to shut my account down for literally no reasons I hate goodwill I hope they get shut down they get all that stuff for free and completely take advantage of it and over price things on purpose I give them a negative ******* stars nothing these people do go to donations as what they say the money goes too straight up crooks

Bought several DVDs as individual listings that concluded at same time from same location they proceeded to charge $15 for handling along to package 6 DVDs in same package I complained and they basically told me to pound sand I complained more then they took $5 off still crazy though. The craziest parts is all of this inventory is donated. They try to milk every last dollar they can and honestly I wouldn't be surprised if there is shill bidding happening combined with just terrible controls for preventing bid fraud abuse from other bidders as well who might be bitter about the price of something jacking the price sky high and then bailing with no recourse only to re register under a family members name. It really is the worst platform. I still browse it but of all the auction platforms this is the one I do the LEAST business with. BUYER BEWARE.

I have bought several pieces of china that were described in good condition and arrived broken and glued together or chipped. I do not consider glued and chipped china to be in good condition. I recently received a set of dishes that was so poorly packed over half the items were smashed and broken. I called and emailed the store, sent photos of broken items, and they still have not refunded my money over 2 months later. The manager is rude and insulting in addition to doing nothing to solve the issue. I then challenged the charge on my credit card and sent the credit card company photos of all the broken dishes and Goodwill is now fighting refunding my money with the credit card company! In a separate transaction I bought a teacup for 39.00 and they charged $21.00 in shipping and handling. I spent thousands on their auctions wanting to help the organization but sadly the unprofessional conduct means I will no longer support this charity.

Bought a electronic amplifier from shopgoodwill and when I received it was totally broken and the box it was shipped in looked fine. I messaged them had to send pics to a personal cell phone not on there website. There blaming the shipper when the box looked new which I still have. Been 2 weeks I've heard nothing from them. To be honest isn't GW about people being able to walk in and buy stuff well obviously there hiding stuff because 90% of there items are auction so it's not on the floor. There e commerce is running a scam people donating this stuff is free and they're selling at over what e bay is selling at. Better off with e bay at least your covered these guys just back burner you. The CEO makes over 800k a year and people are giving him $. There taking good and selling to the highest bidder how is that helping people out that don't have much $ people need to stop donating and just sell the stuff on marketplace or yard sale or put it for free on Craigslist because all your doing is making the rich richer. I thought it was cool at first but now I see what's going on is there plite isn't to help the less fortunate it's to sell there free items at top dollar and screw the less fortunate. Think about it look at the auction items they cannot be bought in the retail stores there tucked away waiting for someone to pay the most for it. That's not ok that's not why people donated. I see a lot of negativity wrapped around what I just said people are upset because they thought they was helping the less fortunate but all they did was make the rich richer. I won't buy from them again ever nor will I walk into a store front you can go to Walmart and get it new prob cheaper. Look at what they're doing and tell me I'm wrong.

Auctions poor

I have been a shopper with goodwill for year and lately they have gotten poor. I detect a lack of concern and disorganization. I keep getting beat on auctions at the last moment and a dollar over my bid. I have purchased items which arrive destroyed and when when I try to address the problems with good will no response. I have an item that I purchased over a month ago still not here and again I'm ignored. Opening bid set by good will is too high. S/h my God need I even mention it. They've lost me as a customer.

My experience is that you can probably do better shopping at EBay,
Goodwill prices are too high for the used merchandise they sell and shipping costs ate unreasonable. Comparison shop BEFORE you buy from goodwill.

Complete mystery

It's a mystery to all of us how 3.5 pounds item turned into a 45 pounds shipment and we being charged $30 dollars more for a package that is actual weight little under 7 pounds.

The problem with Shopgoodwill.com is the shipping price gouging. I know the gazzillion posts and videos made by your site explaining saying FedEx calculates, but this is not true. One I have asked FedEx directly and they have confirmed this statement to be untrue. So to confirm again, I messaged goodwill to say hey why for the same exact item that weighs the same coming from the same place are you charging 15.00+ for shipping the one with zero bids you are now charging 48.00+ dollars. The response was "I will go in and fix that". It is not FedEx! Stop blaming others for this! It is sad, as many like myself want to support your site as we know it supports a good cause, but let the platform work as it should in the auction format, allowing consumers the ability to bid and purchase on USED items as they should! This is really starting to make your company look greedy and dishonest, which makes people question the sincerity of the cause! You rake in millions yearly, stop trying to rob people of their hard earned money for things that were DONATED to your company!

They hide the defects stains of there items I had to send back a doll as it has AG in ink on its foot another set of dolls the legs were all stitched up horrible. The site never shows the true defects

This is now the 3rd time I have won an item for a VERY good price and it "can't be found". I bid on a cassette deck that normally goes for anywhere from $250-700 on ebay and I got it for $68! Now, after almost 2 weeks, I got a call that said "They can't find it"! HTH do you lose a 6"x14"x18" 35 POUND cassette deck! As I mentioned this is the 3rd time something like this has happened when I won the bid on a very good, valuable, desirable item for an EXTREMELY good price! I'm laying odds that someone went to the 'bay, saw what they were selling for and they just miraculously "lost" it! Well, I've got pictures that include the S/N of the item I won, and I'll be watching for it...it better NOT show up on the 'bay or SGW again, or we're gonna' be talking to the Attorneys General of their state!

I don't ever want to purchase from goodwill online ever again! I am appalled at the astronomical shipping price. My purchase for items were $43 with shipping it came to $70!. You're way better off shopping on EBay, where shipping can be free or reasonable.

Charge me more than what I order.

My order number is *******. After winning the bid, I paid immediately. Few days later I was charged an extra 28 bucks. What on earth is going on? I am sending a ticket to customer service, hopefully they will resolve this and have good explanation for doing this.
Btw, I also ordered in goodwillfinds. They charged me a few hundred bucks and then almost a week later cancel my order. I understand that shipping can take long, but if you don't have the merchandises, don't list the items. I submitted 3 tickets there, had not heard back in a week.

I was expelled from Goodwill website.
Because I shopped there too much. Some times I would be late with my payment for action win and they would not extend time to pay for me or did not cancel. I tried to resolve with them. But not successful, they completely block me. Even if I sign up with new account they would block me next day. This is so annoying, I want to spend my money there for good cause.
