When I went to return side bulbs that I didnt need they kept $2.50 they returned 13.02 and the price for the item was 14.49 + tax there was no reason I was given other than that's just how we do it in our store. And yes I had my receipt and the package wasn't opened or damaged. This is very poor business practice. I'll never shop there again SHAME ON THEM.
I used the lodi ca store, dawn and Teresa went out there way to help me with finding parts for my son's camry, very friendly and professional ladies, definitely will be returning, they made retail shopping very easy, thanks so much
On the afternoon of April 4,2023 I made a purchase at your store in Frazer PA #*******. A young man named Chris Bean waited on me. He did a thorough job of finding the part I needed. When I got home, I realized I needed more parts and went back to the Frazer store. When I arrived, Chris was in his car, engine running, about to go home. He recognized me, turned the car off, and volunteered to go back in the store to get me what I needed. He didn't have to to what he did, but his sense of responsibility went over and above.
I have been using your store in Frazer for a while and every experience has been very positive.

I was looking for Seafoam Spray. I couldn't find it. I asked a sales guy behind the counter and he was short and talked down to me. He told me the product I was looking for was in the rear of the store with a tone of arrogance. I returned with the product I was looking for to check out. Low and behold it was the was arrogant salesman and he once more was short with me. I needed help and this was what I got.
I will never return to that particular Advanced Auto Parts again. What shame one bad apple can destroy a business.
The Advance Auto on Government St in Mobile, AL has the rudest employees I've ever encountered! Ken and another male employee (who looked like a wannabe biker) had to be the rudest employees I've encountered in my life. I will literally have my car towed or drive many extra miles to go to a competitor before I shop there again. They are lazy. They are inconsiderate and they act like they would rather be anywhere other than working there. They aren't willing to help. They act as though you're wasting their time. I have worked in customer service for years and I would have absolutely fired those two if they worked for me!
Store manager Ian Cross and his assistants Tradis Louder and R. Osalyn at AA Store 9733 Sylvester, Georgia are some of the best AA employees I've ever encountered.
Went in to go order some parts and there was a lady that treated me with so much hostility even though we called the day before saying i was going to come in the next day to order said parts. Needless to say she got us banned because my partner helped me go to the restroom because I had just gotten out of the hospital previous of going there. Then had corporate delete his commercial account and now he can't go back at all. Never having anyone that we know go into that auto zone again.
Bought an item with these guys for same day delivery important item couldn't head to the store at the moment so I ordered the part online for same day delivery the next day I reach out to advance auto parts only to tell me that the order is ready just needs a driver mind you I ordered this item the day before at 440 pm paying the after 5 o clock charge for delivery and nothing SMH shame on you guys
I ordered a part online. Paid extra for 1-2 day shipping. My part will not be delivered for 5 days. I chatted online with 3 people. As soon as I said, "I want a refund for shipping." the chat magically ended due to connection each time. I finally got a phone number and talked to a live person and they told me, "It's 1-2 business days." Is says nowhere on there sight about business days. Then they told me, "The best we can do is offer a $20 coupon." The shipping was more than $20. Don't waste your time or money with them. Poor customer service, deceitful web site, and like I said, "They rob you!"
I ordered an ignition switch from AdvanceAuto.com because all the stores in my area had no stock. When checking out I used "speed perks" and a discount which put me a few pennies under free shipping so I ordered the recommended cabin filter for one my other vehicles. Today I received an email saying the ignition switch has been cancelled so went to RockAuto.com to find the exact same ignition switch for 1/3 the price. Being a curious person I checked the price of the cabin only to find out my car doesn't have one.
I maintain 10 family vehicles and will bring my business to Rock Auto for mail order and Napa for local items.

Had to buy a battery from an Advanced Auto Parts because I was stranded out of town. I thought a $200 battery with a 2 year warranty would last a while. 6 months later I was stranded again with a dead battery. Took the battery in to the Texas City location and they replaced it with a new one & prorated the warranty so I thought everything was good. Installed the battery & car started up. Next morning cr wouldn't start so stranded once again! Thought no way it could be battery again so had to get it to the dealership for a diagnostic. Sure enough it was another bad battery! Had dealership install a different battery because I needed my car for work. Dealership said the battery was leaking acid & they had to dispose of it. Went back to Advanced Auto in Texas City & they wouldn't do anything because I didn't bring in the old battery. All of this happened in the same week & I had receipts but they wouldn't do any kind of refund or credit.,NOTHING! Not even an apology, no concern, just a NO with an attitude! Don't buy batteries from this store because they are crap. Don't use the Texas City store if you care about good customer service because the manager doesn't know what good customer service is!
I'm 72 and drive a 2008 Chrysler Town and Country. Whenever I've needed anything I go to Advanced Auto Parts in Sycamore. They have helped me with several things on my van and gone above and beyond to get things done.
After a long while I was able to talk to someone that I thought was very helpful. Turned out to be blowing smoke up my a**. I stayed focused and relentless. Finally got my money back.
I ordered a torque converter and paid for it online. Then I went to the store to pick it up. When they gave it to me I looked it over and it wasn't the right one. They said Money would be put back on my card. 3 weeks later I call to check on my refund. I gave them the order #, date, and the amount. First I was told that order don't show up. I give my email. Then they said I never paid for it. I said I have the receipt. Then they ask if I have a bank statement. I said yes. Then they said I have to go back to the store to show proof. So I go to the store. The guy there said whoever I was talking to on the phone called them and said I have to come back on Monday. If there's nothing saying I paid for it how did the I talked on the phone know what store to call? Tell me to go there then tell them to send me back home. $300 I feel they are trying to steal from me. I have all the proof and they are acting like I'm in the wrong. What a way to treat their costumers
I took a failed battery in for replacement as it was a "gold" and is guaranteed for three years. The battery is just over two and a half years old according to its date sticker. I was told that if I didn't purchase the battery at the store I was returning the battery to then the warranty would not be honored as the stores are"not connected". Unbelievable
Sad to be an American. When you walk into a store in America and you can't read the signs because they all in Spanish and the music is bad language and talking about sex all the time you walk in this store. Today is the last day I will shop at Advance auto part. Sad time to be an American in Houston Tx.
Jim Chukalas is an exceptional Manager and human being. I stopped in to get a quarter of oil When my wearing light came on I was kind of nervous about that because I have newer car And it was snowing in yucky outside.
I ended up being 38 cents short to get a quart of oil he actually chipped in so I could get the oil and put the oil in my car saving my morning thanks a bunch Jim for a great customer service.
I would recommend this store to anyone.
Ordered a part Sunday that was supposed to be there on Friday. No part. No tracking info. All they could do is order the part again and wait another week. Car not drivable because of part that should have been there! Never had this problem before with them over the years of buying parts. How can you not track the part or give me any information except we can reorder it! Will not be doing business with them again! Would give negative stars if they had it on this review. Has left me in a bind without a vehicle! With all the technology today y'all suck!
I placed an order for brake pads and it said it was an exact fit for my Dodge Caravan. I took them out of the box today to put on and they aren't even close to fitting. I bought them during a 50% deal of the week and now that deal is gone and they won't give me that off or even the 15% online discount when I went directly into the store to return the brake pads. I didn't have my order # with me and they said they can't look up an order without it. How about being able to look up an order by my last/first name for God's sake. Go out and hire a programmer who knows how to program. Really close to not going to Advance Auto Parts any longer. Very frustrating and time consuming since my car is still on jacks because of this screw up.
I just noticed on the credit receipt that she put in "part not needed" which isn't correct. I needed the part if it would have been the correct part. Brakes ended up costing me twice as much as the original order!
I was at the store 5035 when I met Bradley he provided me with such great customer service that I believe he deserves a raise and a promotion he went above and beyond his means to provide great customer service to me and my family I am very grateful for him the following day I met a guy named Tommy Tommy also did the same The Vibes they provided were nothing less than exquisite. I believe they both deserve a raise. Please go visit Tommy and Bradley at the store location 5035 they will find the cheapest men's to help you with the greatest customer service you will experience.
