Went to buy a headlight bulb. Was unsure how to replace it. It was dark and needed it replaced before I even left the store. They told me they are no longer allowed to assist with things like build replacement. I'll go to AutoZone from now on.
I work for Door Dash the man rudely said I was late for the order and wanted me to wait while he canceled it. He said he sent his driver. He need contacted me and gave me a timeline he waited until I got their to cancel it. I do not think other delivery companies should use this Advance Auto Company Thank you
What a horrific company advance Auto is terrible made in Mexico parts that fail and no support - the speed perk gimmick is just that- please have someone at the executive level contact me
I recently ordered online a COP coil and spark plug for a total of $41.57. I did not need the parts and promptly returned them to store purchased from. I assumed my PP method of payment would reflect the same price payed, No The statment showed $30.63 Credit issued to paymeny method, A $10.94 difference.
The associate at store I brought the paperwork to said, That is normal and the actual balance will be payed later. So far Nothing not even a notice I was shorted and why, WARNING to all, Check the paperwork It seems a way that people can lose money of not aware of the rip offs like Advance auto online,
Oh and I actually needed the parts and was charged more than the first sale and now cost me $44.92 for the same parts I returned 30 seconds ago,
F Advance Buy on eBay you get full refunds for the returned parts,
Have to give a shout out to Bri at the Lees Summit, MO location at State Route 291. She took command of the situation and mounted license plates on my car! I didn't know it, but I already had the necessary hardware. Very conscientious employee!
Buyer beware, i purchased a set of LED bulbs for my marker, lights and blinkers that the cashier said would work I installed them, and my blinkers were not blinking and then blinking randomly. I went to return the bulbs, telling them that they do not work in my vehicle, and they told me, you cannot return electronics! So long story short beware when buying electronics from advance auto once you buy them they're yours if you open the package whether they fit or do not fit that being said it'll be the last time I buy anything from advance auto.
I've been fixing up my 1987 dodge ram 50, the staff and products are always great, my truck is again running, thank you all again, I'll be back to shop
Bought a heater resistor I didn't use. Tried to return it. Employee started inspecting part like I was trying to return old part. Then stated they didn't return electrical parts. Especially damaged ones. He pointed out a default on resistor. I told him if it was bad I bought it bad. That I didn't open the box to look at it. Little alone to install it. I guess everyone is a crook that tries to return something. So I used his reasoning. Took it to another store and returned it as defective. He pointed it out. As I said I never opened the box. So they sold me a defective part to begin with! They won't sell me another defective part or any part for that matter. I'm done.
Hi, my sales day started out bad. My mirror fell off the side of my car so I couldn't see the change lanes. I stopped in advanced auto care on West Lake Mead in Las Vegas Jonathan one of their employees went out of his way to afix a mirror on the side of my car so I wouldn't wreck until Kia has a mirror coming in weeks from now. Jonathan is a great asset. I would've love to have him working for me. Thank you again.
I had a failing battery in my Malibu and needed it replaced asap. After carefully reviewing my choice of stores I picked advanced auto parts despite their higher prices because they advertise that they test and install batteries. I went to the one in Dearborn, Michigan. They came out and tested my battery advising I would need a new one, but when I asked about the install the initial employee said she couldn't do it. I inquired if any other staff person could and she said she'd check. The guy she found looked at it and said he couldn't do it because it would take 45 minutes and that's too long. He said I could buy the battery there and referred me to a local mechanic for the install. I did not do that. Instead I went to Napa auto parts, which offered a better rated battery at a better price. I then watched a YouTube video on how to replace the battery myself and was able to do it in about 15 minutes. So much for the 45 minutes estimated by the worker at advanced auto parts. The take away here is that advanced auto parts does not actually perform the services they advertise and they employ people who can't be bothered to perform the functions of their job. I know for me I will never go back to advanced auto parts for anything. Ever. The lack of service I received has left a bad impression forever.
Willian Brown did a wonderful job, helping me replace my battery in my car and keeping good conversation. Great employee and person.
Very great service and extremely nice and helpful workers helped me find everything i needed and didn't have any problems
Bought a fuel pump there it was made so cheap the paper thin metal broke took it back and the girl at the counter came back with an electric after i handed her my broken mechanical fuel pump she tells me to come back she ecan't give me a refund she keeps my broken pump and my receipt then the manager calls and says he is crediting my account $26 that was 2 months ago still nothing they stole my money i am so pissed i don't even wan't to go in there
I went in Grandbay Alabama store 15 minutes before closing.I asked about a part that I really needed, the gentleman was very abrasive unwilling to make an effort to help me. I wounder how many people get turned away?
I want to advance Auto parts in ShopRite plaza in Bristol Connecticut a young man named Robert helped me get the correct wiper blades and even offered to put them on for me he did a excellent job and was very careful and friendly and I will be going there from now on
I stopped in the enola store to buy parts for my vehicle and the younger employee behind the counter was very rude to customers in line ahead of me, he also didnt really seem to have the energy or want to help with customers. He was also on his phone the entire time he was helping customers.
I was sent two Left calipers after a week later, and I argued with the guy even after I sent two sets of pictures of the wrong parts that were stamped with a L on the part... very unprofessional...
Had the worst experience at this specific store on 24th St in Omaha,Ne. Only 3 customers, but when the service tech went to get my part he was gone 10 minutes and chatting with another worker where we could see him. One customer walked out because of the wait and the Asst. Manager Karlin made it clear he was doing inventory and not helping customers. Only one service tech was helping people.
When the part wasn't in stock we asked if he could find another store with the part and make sure it was in stock. He did as he should of and was put on hold. Karlin asked what was taking so long and when the service tech explained Karlin told us to call them ourselves and get out of the way. When I advised him that he could just wait on the other customers himself he became angry and told me to leave. When I mentioned that this is a service all his competitors gladly do he then banned me from the store and made threats.
Very unprofessional service from Karlin and will never visit again. I will be contacting his manager.
My first mistake was choosing Advanced Auto Parts in Cahokia Illinois over Auto Zone, I came in and order break pads and routers for my van, and the lady who works there gave me the wrong size for my vehicle after I told her what make and model van I had, so when I got to the mechanic shop the mechanic told me the breaks and routers don't fit, so I took them back to Advanced Auto and they told me I couldn't return it because of my past history of returns. Let me say that I have only had one return at this place in the last year I hardly go there because they never have enough people working and obviously they don't know what there doing, but I went anyway because it is closer to my house. So I call customer service where you as a customer are supposed to get help but you guessed it they couldn't help me either, they said there is nothing they can do even though it wasn't my fault and there own employee gave me the wrong parts, now I have breaks and routers that I can't even use that cost me $187. Oh! And by the way I had to buy a whole other set of breaks because the ones they gave me didn't fit. Thanks so much Advanced Auto all I wanted was my money back that's it. If this review doesn't change anything I will never ever go back to any Advanced Auto and I will be telling everyone I know about how horrible there service is and how bad there return policy is even if there own employee gives you the wrong parts you won't be able to return them. This company has proven to me that they do not care about there customers and they will not help you even if its there fault, this place does not even deserve a 1 star rating. And lets see how long they leave this review up.
