The company's reputation is significantly marred by persistent customer service issues and a frustrating return process. Many customers report long wait times and ineffective communication, leading to dissatisfaction and a lack of trust. While some reviews highlight the quality and comfort of the products, these positives are overshadowed by complaints regarding incorrect orders, inadequate support, and hidden fees related to returns. Overall, the sentiment reflects a growing frustration among customers who feel misled and undervalued, prompting them to seek alternatives from competitors known for better service.

IM SO ANGRY. I CANNOT FIND MY CROCS. I ORDERED TWO DAY SHIPPING AND THEY HAVE YET TO BE HERE. UGH. I SHOULD'VE READ REVIEWS. BYE. NEVER BUY FROM HERE IT IS $#*! WIPES.
This Company is a mess it showed online order by 12 pm and it ships same day well I ordered a North face osito jacket on Friday morning and it's Monday and still hasn't shipped. Wish I had read these reviews and the reviews on Better business website about this company.
I ordered boots on Oct 17 and got them today the 19th I was very surprise they arrived so early and didnt pay for shipping plus I got a $20% discount, Im loving this website!
I made a purchase 10 days ago and I have not received my order and I've yet to get an update on my order. Calling customer is a joke and I swear I get the same person or their cousin every time who has no information regarding my order and will not refund me my money. Once I get my money back I will NEVER order from this trash company again. You don't treat your customers this way.
I'm very surprised at the negative reviews of ShoeBuy.com. I've been a customer for many years (almost since its inception) and can honestly say that I've never really had anything but good experiences with them. I've never had a problem with returns or exchanges; the customer service has always been prompt and courteous; and I don't understand why people are complaining about cost. Every time I order, I use the rewards that I've accumulated + whatever discount (usually 25% or 30%, most recently) is being promoted.
People can't expect to return new shoes that have *clearly* been worn and expect a full refund or exchange.
As for "the size charts being way off," where does that come from? Do you not know what size shoe you wear? If I'm ordering in a different brand than I'm accustomed to, I'll often order two sizes just to make sure that one of them fits. I find the descriptions of the shoes helpful, as they will often include instructions to the potential buyer to size up or size down, because the manufacturer in question runs small or large, as the case may be.
I also like the new layout of the site, with large images of the shoes, and from all angles (most of the time; not always).
Worst customer service ever. They lied to me and told me my item will ship today so I placed the other Bc needed it for the holidays. Then they tell me it won't be sent out today. No customer service satisfaction here. Any other company like zappos or 6pm would have owned up to their mistake and done overnight shipping. Never order from these people they're a scam and I should have known they have bad ratings. James and Kisha the managers were horrible and rude.
Purchased Grand Child shoes 10/1/17. Order No. *******. Being an original "Webber" when there was no browser & only code to converse I have a unique take on this. I got only $8 off on a name brand shoe I would much rather had paid full price from the manufacturer as the "guarantee" is worth more than $8. Many name brand shoes are giving up their rights to sites like Shoe or Shoebuy because they can ditch the warranty out the door. You cannot try on the shoe & fit is EVERYTHING. If it doesn't fit you may have to pay a re-stocking fee. If it falls apart your poop out of luck as they say "You Wore It".
They have no store front across the US so their cost is $0 comparatively speaking. That means 1000's of jobs are lost. They don't have to pay health insurance on all those employees, They don't have to pay workmans comp on all those employees. They don't have to pay "their share" of local taxes on employees. They don't have to give vacations or sick pay on all those employees.
They have a few people sitting in rooms at computers and a few stock people sitting in a warehouse. Also a few people on the phone or they contract out to a call center who represents many companies. Even oversees.
So it takes people out of work, you don't get a fit for your individual foot, (and you are more than likely to put up with a bad fit -- NOT GOOD for your future feet) You have no one take the shoe back or complain about poor quality. All for a measly $8. Even if its $20 in todays pricing that is not much for what you give up.
If they continue to steal the profits and not give you the consumer the savings then why would we purchase from them? I could walk in a "High End Department Store" and get the same shoe for pennies more with a good fit. We must ask ourselves why are we doing this. They reap in the profits and you the consumer looses. Your community looses, your feet lose. You loose. So for those of you who expect high demands on this company, right on. Their Profits are OVER THE ROOF TOP.
People you need to read the fine print. 6.95 re-stock fee; most companies charge something, unworn shoes in original box, how hard is it to walk around your house. I placed an order and received exactly what i wanted; in a reasonable amount of time. Very Happy SMH...
I bought a pair of Saucony sneakers from shoe.com and wore them for less than an hour. As I walked, I could feel the ground beneath me that's how cheap they were made. I returned them and yesterday shoe.com sent him back to me saying because they were worn, cannot be returned and that I do not get my money back. I was a first-time customer and now a last time customer. Do not buy from shoe.com.
Ordered a pair of shoes 6 days ago and been chasing them for the updates to no avail. Their supervisor was so rude that terminate the live chat. They simply push away their responsibility to the "supplier" who did not update them even after 48hours. Was asked to wait for another 48hours until "supplier" updates the status. What kind of ridiculous and non-standard policy. The item has not shipped out yet and UPS confirmed that they never pick up the parcel. Worst ever when they told me that the refund is not guaranteed until the "supplier" updates the status. What a joke! I have yet to receive the parcel and NOT allowed to cancel for a refund! NO NO NO NO NO shoes.com.
Ordered two pairs of shoes in a single order. It took two days to receive tracking confirmation. Then when I finally received my shoes one of the pairs was not inside. After calling customer service it seems my second pair never made it to shipping and had been sitting. Would have to pay extra for expidited shipping or wait another 10 days for the second pair. Never using them again.
I ordered a pair of shoes from shoes.com on June 13th, 2017.
They arrived on June 19th, 2017.
The shoes were too narrow for me.
(They were a size wide, but apparently I need a wider size for this type of shoe.)
At any rate, I decided to return the shoes... but time slipped away.
When I went online (June 15th) to get the return label printed the web-site wouldn't let me do it.
So I wrote customer service.
I knew their return policy was 60 days... and it was June 15th - before the 60 days...
But it turns out it is 60 days from the order - not from receiving the shoes.
This seems pretty unfair to me and I certainly won't be ordering from them again.
Customer service would not make an exception and had the nerve to be pleased to serve me in the future. That won't happen.
I was never so happy with a product EVER! I stand for a living working at my own salon. Hair Replacement 20 years! I thought I might have to give it up but now I have New Feet! Perfect size Perfect Everthing including the feel! When I put them on the was Heaven! I have pictures but don't know how to send them.
I ordered a RED Men's converse high top shoe for a Dr. Who wedding outfit. Shoes.com sent me a child's 1 Pink shoe. Really? Called customer service. Could barely understand the man, just sort of said print return label they we refund you. Oh and you want what you ordered, reorder again. Um no thanks. Never again. No paperwork in box, no order number nothing.
Not only they sent me the wrong item, when i returned it, they have billed me for the restocking fee. Prior to receiving the email regarding the refund, I was reassured that because this was a mistake on their part, i would not have to pay the restocking fee. However, it was not the case.
This is a shame. First and LAST time buying from them. They don't know how to treat and keep customers!
I would NOT pay the fee for a mistake on their part!
It took 10 days for them to ship an evening bag I needed urgently. The matching shoes arrived sooner but since the bag did not arrive I had to return the shoes. The company keeps $6.95 for restocking. I communicated to the company that since they still did not ship the bag, I don't need it any more. But they shipped it anyway. I wrote to them 11 times regarding shipping, returns and refunds but there is something wrong with this company. The same day they shipped the bag they asked me if I returned it already. They don't know what they are doing. They don't read emails and until you start dealing with PayPal or your credit card company, they don't bother to respond.
I purchased two pairs - one North Face Sandal and One Keens womens hiking boot. Both pairs of shoes did not fit true to size, and had to be returned. Was initially charged a "restocking fee" on the sandals because I requested a refund (they did not offer any larger sizes that fit me), and they sent a new pair of Keen boots, after I paid a second time, saying they would apply my refund when they received the return. They then denied the return and said shoes were "worn" but the were not worn, they were a gift, I saw them tried on and put back int he box to be returned. Manager said he thought they were worn based on pictures I never saw, that could have been taken at any time. Worst Ever.
I ordered a pair of Chacos on August 5 from shoes.com. I did not receive a confirmation email right away. The next day I contacted shoes.com about the email that I did not receive. Later that day I received the confirmation email. I started looking up reviews after I got the confirmation email. They weren't good, so I got nervous that my shoes weren't going to arrive. After the 5th business day, I still did not receive a shipping email. Once again I contacted shoes.com. They told me that they were waiting to get the information from UPS. Today I received a new email saying that my order was cancelled due to the fact that they did not have the shoes I ordered in stock. I still have yet to see the money back in my account. I hope it gets put back sooner rather than later. Now I have to find a reliable website to buy the shoes from. I will never trust this website ever again.
Their size charts are way off. The customer service sucks! They wouldn't exchange a pair of shoes that didn't fit me. They sent them back with no explanation. I wore the shoes for about 10 minutes and they were clean when sent to shoe by. WISH I COULD RATE ZERO!
I never write a review good or bad, but I felt the need to because I was so worried after I ordered my shoes and read all the bad reviews! I placed my order for my new Hoka running shoes on Sat evening had them by Wed morning they are perfect and they emailed my tracking right away. I feel like not enough people give a review when things go perfectly only when something goes wrong. I recommend Shoes.com highly and will use them again in the future. Thanks for the great service Soes. Com ;)
Answer: Apparently they do not care. Not a real good omen for staying in business very long.
Answer: Stay away! I tried to make an exchange, and they charged me for the new shoes and then claimed that returned shoes were worn and damaged and wouldn't give me my money back. I wore them long enough to try them on and even then the shoes were so small and stiff that I couldn't get my feet into them! I asked the customer service "manager" (the 4th "manager" I spoke to) if we are allowed to try on the shoes and shes said "yes of course" to which I said then why do you consider what I did wearing them? She didn't have an answer. This is a scam to sell off damaged or defective merchandise. Stay away.
