Amazing first experience with Shippn. They helped me buying two very limited edition items in Singapore at an exclusive high end retailer. The service was excellent (thanks to Renuka!) and very fast, everything within a week including shipping form, another continent.
I had a really bad experience with this company. They doubled my shipping cost for no reason and haven't responded to any of my messages. Very unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend using them — there are much better options out there. This company seems like a scam. I'd stay away.
My experience with Shippn was disappointing from start to finish. The host I selected for my shipment, Richard, sent poor-quality photos of my items, failed to notify me that they had arrived damaged, and informed me only after receiving my package that he would be away on vacation for more than a week before shipping it. This delayed my order unnecessarily and could have been avoided had his availability been communicated in advance. When I asked about the excessive cost of shipping, Richard suggested shipping four separate packages even though all four items weighed less than an ounce each. That would have increased shipping costs, a complete contradiction of my concern. I was also charged a mandatory $15 USD insurance fee despite the carrier already providing coverage that exceeded the value of my purchase (approximately $16 AUD). I was not given the option to waive the additional insurance - a clear money grab by Shippn. The most concerning part of my experience came after the transaction. I submitted a factual 2-star review of Richard through Shippn, but it has not appeared on his profile. Instead, I was contacted and asked to provide additional feedback. While I cannot speak to Shippn's overall review moderation practices, my own experience has left me questioning whether the reviews displayed on the platform present a complete picture of customer experiences. This is concerning as many customers select their shipping host based off the reviews presented. Falsely curating reviews is misleading. Overall, I found the service expensive, the communication poor, the host's performance unsatisfactory, and the review process lacking transparency. I would not use Shippn again and would definitely caution loved ones from using it.
I used Shippn to get a package from Germany. They quickly got me set up with someone I could forward my stuff to and they would get it to me. The host messaged me often and kept me up to date from the time the package was in transit to them and then in transit to me! Very quick and easy!
I give shippin a shot and it worked. Finding doujinshi of kingdom hearts is hard and it's even harder to find my favorite ships. I found an artist that did larxene/marluxia doujinshi but they only ship their work in Japan with Shippin I was able to get the comic I always wanted brought to the USA.
Ordered 2 away products that were sold out in the US but Canada had stock so I used shippn for the first time. I insured both packages but spent nearly $600 + for just my train bag alone. When I received the product there was a scratch on the handle that was very noticeable. Disappointed that I cannot return the package due to it not being sold in the US anymore. The shipper sent out blurry images so blurry you cannot see the away writing and due to this they are not holding up their end of the bargain and blaming ME for the scratch. CSR is saying the first picture attached to this email is their determination that there was no scratch on the handle but as you can see you cant even see the away writing on the handle so if cant see that how can you tell if there was a scratch on it. They offered me $40 for my troubles on a $600+ item. I can't even resale it for full price due to the scratch. Wishing I never did this. When using this make sure you get PLENTY OF PICTURES FROM THE SHIPPER BEFORE BEING SHIPPED OUT

I was really happy with the type of service they provided for me when I bought my item from out of the country, they walk you through every step and always respond ba k I'm a timely matter when I had questions, and the Host in Mexico was really helpful and gave me updates on every single step as he was going through, very happy with this service?
DO NOT RECOMMEND - extremely high & hidden fees. I had to pay over $74 in DHL shipping for a small package (0.5 kg, about 11cm x 12cm x 3cm) and some other fees which resulted in $120+ in costs. In addition, the items I purchased had a discount code, which the shopper/proxy used -- but I wasn't refunded for that discount. Very scammy, would never use again.

I made a buy for me order through Shippn and the host buyer in Portugal was amazing and responsive! The team at Shippn helped with the logistics of the order and their customer service was very responsive. I received the item quickly, too--overall a great experience!
I needed an item I couldn't get in the US. The Canadian supplier couldn't/wouldn't ship to the US. I was able to use Shippn to purchase the item, have it sent to someone in Canada and then have it sent to me. It was a bit of a clunky process but it went as good as could be hoped for considering all of the logistics of a foreign transaction using a third party.
I contacted Shippn and placed an order, a few checking questions and it went straight to purchase. The host was fantastic with checking questions, then upon arrival items were checked and pics sent. Everything was good then straight to shipping. That went super quick. A huge thank you to Shippn and the Host.
Updated 2/7/24: After posting my initial review, customer service got in touch with the host and moved things along. I've now received my coat. I'm still taking off 2 stars since the communication was only improved after leaving a public complaint but the service ultimately delivered.

Original 1 start review: I wanted to buy a coat from Poshmark Canada and couldn't get it shipped to the states directly so I decided to use Shippn. I picked the host who had 5 star reviews (now wondering if they're fake). Made my purchased, used her address, thought all was well. IT WAS NOT. The tracking shows delivered but the host hasn't updated the order, nor has she or customer service responded to my numerous messages asking for an update. I understand things may come up and you can't ship it out right away. But disappearing with my paid merchandise and failing to communicate is theft.
My package came undamaged, and was packaged well. Been using it for couple times and it came perfect
The package arrived to my house safely and the package wasn't damaged at all inside there were no scratches or scars. Would recommend

This was my first time using a reshipping service and it was a great experience my package was reshipped out within a couple hours and I got my package 6 days earlier than it was estimated my host was awesome the company was awesome everything was awesome I couldn't recommend it anymore the only thing that I would say is to make sure you understand the difference between the volumeric weight and the actual weight

The host I selected was very kind, helpful and quick to keep my package moving once they received it. Excellent communication with the Shippn support team. I was always wondering if there was any type of delivery service that would allow consumers to order from unavailable shops and still get it delivered to the country the shop doesn't ship to. Ofcourse there was doubts about the reliability of Shippn at first, but I still gave it a try and wasn't disappointed. The host did an excellent job as well and everything goes as fast as possible. I have already placed my second order yesterday. People that are complaining about shipping cost, you can also talk to the host to ship it in a smaller box...I think they are more than willing to help you with that. The handling fee is acceptable as well. People need to be paid with money, not with praises. It is still cheaper than getting it personally, right?

Horrible experience, the shipping is so overpriced and almost half as much more than the amount you get from their shipping calculator. Their Buy-For-Me service being non-refundable is really stupid and customer unfriendly. Their just scamming my money atp.
The guy I was working with to receive my parcel was on vacation or something and wasn't even available to receive the item. Pretty ridiculous! And it was a limited item so I was banking on this service to work. It's not a scam, but I would say unreliable. Because why would you try to receive an item if you're not even home, lol. In the end I lost $15 that wasn't refundable and had very little communication throughout the process. I initiated most of the communication. Not a good experience but worth trying if you are desperate
