This company is a massive SCAM. Please DO NOT use. I am about £500 poorer, and have not got my car back yet. Police have found it about 10 miles away, and are waiting to retrieve it. Please AVOID at all costs
They hiked up the prise four fold, then held my car to ransom until I paid up, horrendous communication, Dont become one of their many victims, just avoid please people, if you've paid a deposit contact your Bank/Credit card company and ask them to retrieve it for you, they will help you.
Don't usually write a post like this, but need to warn others … do not use this company to service your car despite being tempted that some one collects and drops back. It's a bloomin awful con!

Terrible company and experience
First they cancelled my service less than 24 hours before and re booked 3 days later … you can't speak to anyone just get a chat box. When my MOT was done an extremely rude man called Gary called to tell me I needed £500 of work, but I soon realised that my car had passed MOT so it did not need it, it was advised … but prices extortionate. Then car couldn't be released by garage as they hadn't confirmed I paid … I was waiting for the chat box for half the afternoon and then Kayla was abrupt didn't even sign off … she was the only point of contact… seriously worst company ever… pls think twice before going near them
Do not use. These people are scammers. Your vehicle will be held to ransom till you pay their enormous and spurious charges. Don't be fooled bythe cheap opening price. If it's too good to be true, it usually is. And in this case... it is.

I paid £94 online for a MOT and service, collect and drop off. After a mix up with dates they collected my car but refused to return it until I'd paid £135.59 extra for a engine flush, brake fluid and oil change. They basically held my car ransom even after I paid. Luckily I found the garage holding my car and they personally returned it which am very grateful for. They informed me that a the oil change was part of the service, a flush had not been requested and that they had told SS they were unable to complete the brake fluid so this work was not completed.
Since heard so many bad things about this company, please please save yourself the worry and stress. I had to report my car as stolen and heard nothing back from SS at all. Just glad the garage were helpful unlike some unlucky customers I got off lightly
I purchased full service that mentioned a big list of checks including oil and filter change. The problem is that I read reviews after I made the payment online to get a £20 discount. They almost have the same offer all the time. Deceiving people and charging them extra after car has been taken.
All of the bad reviews came true when my car was at the garage, hardly after few minutes of pick up I received a call telling me to pay £500 worth of servicing items. Quoting an air filter for £95, dont know where they were ordering parts from? I have basic car and I checked the recommended oil and filter doesnt cost more than £50 anywhere. I clearly refused and called garage they told me since my service was from dealership and no new parts needed.
I received a surprise email from servicestop after refusing all of the parts to pay more to get the car released from garage.
Garage told me that service stop has just paid them for oil change. This is ridiculous, I paid around £150 for just an oil change. I am not even sure if they even changed the oil.
The service history on the infotainment system on my car wasnt updated, driving side mats and seats had stains.
I tried contacting them but they give you phone numbers where you cannot call or dont answer. I emailed them but no response.
Avoid at all times, please read other reviews before handing your car over
I was quoted for a full service £150 all inclusive.
Then I received a call from the garage to change the £120
Change filter £85
Change break fluid £70. Etc
I was told £150 is for just to carry out checks on the vehicle.
Booked a service 1st august, canceled to 3rd august then they they did not turn up to collect the car no warning given, Ipayed in advance( big mistake) contacted help line customer service who offered me an unaccaptable date which I declined.no appology
Or explaination gived for not turning up
On receiving credit card statement found they had deducted £25 cancellation fee for cancelling adate which Ihad never agreed to saying i had

Did nnot turn up to do service on the dayno explainition given was offered another date which was not sutiable.so declined
On receiving credit card bill found full price taken for non service but £25 deducted for cancelation refund of unsutable alternative date which was never agreed

The collection service is rubbish as it seems like most do not show when they say.
They will find hundreds of pounds worth of false work that needs to be done then lie to you or threaten you if you dont pay. They are a shambles without any morals. The told me my aircon dosnt work even though I was using it the day before, said my engine light was on and needs investigating which it wasnt, gave me special oil and fuel treatment that I didnt need.
Well I cannot believe how badly as a customer you get treated. Happy to take your pre payment from you but then fail to release your car as agreed with absolutely no contact to explain it will not be arriving as stated. I contacted the garage direct who in fairness warned me upon pick up that Servicing Stop are horrendous to deal with and will try to add extra costs and they confirmed the car was ready to be returned but they could not get any reply from them. I have tried via the online chat portal to ascertain 24 hours later where my car is and I am told as per the script of upselling, i need to wait for the call from the advisor to discuss my service report. I explained i do not need any chat, it was a service, nothing more and yet here I am 2 days later with no resolution still waiting for the car to be released, still waiting for a pointless call.
Just used these guys today.
An hour late picking up then no contact all day. Got to 5pm, no sign of our car. Got very nervous by 6pm as still no contact and need car for work in the morning.
Office shuts at 6pm so no way to find out what was happening.
Reading reviews about scam traders, customers having to pay £100s extra to get their car back, not getting their car back for days and needing to call the police panicked us a bit.
The relief when our car pulled up outside at 8.45pm...! No extra costs, all fine.
Bottom line is that they really suck at communication.
Letting the customer know if their car isn't going to be returned on the day it was collected would be a basic courtesy and save a lot of customer angst. It's also in their customer t&cs... Not a scam trader in our experience. And value for money if you want a cheap mot&service (£89). But not sure we'd use them again given the other reviewers' experiences and the complete lack of communication today.
Car taken for a service, asked for an extra £390 to complete, said wouldn't return car until paid. I refused, didn't do any of the service, had to chase to get car returned, finally dropped back off at 8.30 pm. No service done. Refused refund of the £95 already paid. 80 miles driven on car, another customers address and details left on the back seat.
I wish my review had something positive to say. The fact they no longer respond to reviews here, google or trust pilot must say something. (and by the way if you check out other review sites please be aware Serving Stop offer people £10 discount / rebate to post a review - many actually do this before they have had their car back!)
Like the vast majority of other reviewers. I found myself drawn in by the low prices quoted, only to find the quoted price didn't cover basics and there would be an upcharge - for oil as the quoted price didn't cover synthetic oil which pretty much all diesel cars need. Also the extras which i was told i needed where at massively inflated prices - to help with scale in order to replace a washer jet nozzle, the part about the size of a thumb nail where the water comes out onto the screen, no motors, no electrics, no pipes /hoses etc £97 plus vat plus labour - this part is widely available for under £10. Change of break fluid £140 plus vat - this is more than twice the price of most other national garage chains will charge.
Once they have taken your car away - it's hard to get in touch with them, email and on line chat is poor and you can feel bullied into agreeing extra work as they refuse to return your car unless you agree stating that it's unsafe to drive it!
To cap it all off for me 5 weeks / 1200 miles after my "service" i had an oil warning light appear and having had my car recovered to another garage i find the fault was a "mashed" seal on the oil filter they replaced. So my upgraded oil is now all over my engine bay - thanks serving stop!
My advice is avoid this company
This is one of the worst companies in the whole of UK. They never tell what time the car will be ready. If you use them then be prepared to have no car for at least 2 weeks or more. I so close to reporting them to the relevant agencies for not even telling me what's happening. I actually thinking that the car has been stolen.
Never again. Worst ever don't even need to be rated as they are lower than 1 star.

This company really disgust me! I was enticed with their cheap online prices. Plus being backed by the Dragon Dens influence. Only to be found by total cowboys! For a simple service I have paid £425! I have complained through their email system but with still no response through their five to seven working day response time. Still no response. They offered me a £10 discount to give them them a good review on Trustpilot (Which I'm sure is a breach of Trustpilot review policy) This company needs to be avoided at all costs!
Booked, paid, reminders received, no one turns up! Phone numbers used by company mostly don't work or connect to garages which aren't going to do your job! Don't bother with this company
Avoid at all costs I was warned by a close individual to the company serving stop would phone and say you need this and that.
I payed 126 from 146 pay early and we take 20 pound off.
On the phone she said you won't pay anything else.
I then receive a phone call with a bill if pollen filter and other bits were to be done and it came in at £436. I told them to f*** off and return my car.
Will never use them again make sure you pass this message around.
Long story short... Car was never collected on 3 separate occasions after being booked in, followed by excuse after excuse. Still waiting for a response from them

Here is a warning - never, ever use this company. They are nothing but crooks.

My car arrived back after 3 days (don't believe the same day return headline on their homepage). I was quoted the following:
PERFORM: BRAKE SERVICE £115.08
RENEW: BRAKE FLUID £239.72
ENGINE FLUSH £77.28
AUXILIARY DRIVE BELT £272.47
FUEL TREATMENT £72.83
None of the above actually needed to be done. Servicing Stop tell the garage to add on items for which they get paid. They are nothing but a middle man. The garage owner who delivered my car back told me himself that the work was not necessary and they are asked to do it all the time by Servicing Stop.
DO NOT fall for the cheap service. If you decide to have the work carried out by them it will most probably be unnecessary and will cost you at least 4 times what it should.
Please DO NOT USE Servicing Stop and fall for their scam. You have been warned.

Servicing Stop do not use an Alternative Dispute Resolution service so the best advice if you get ripped off by them is to take them to the Small Claims Court***
Answer: Based on my experience it is a scam- avoid them. Pay a bit more and go direct to a reputable garage.
Answer: No need to feel stupid... I had to cough up £1544. 99 for an mot and a 40thousand mile service before They would return my car. I don't think I'll get any refund but have taken great pleasure in reporting them to Trading Standards, my credit card company, my bank, my neighbours, my relations and others and anyone who wants to listen. If I can think of anybody else that will stop them doing this to others I'll gladly report to them as well.
