They refunded the cost, but be prepared for flowers never showing up. Apparently, they sub-contract local florists to do the work, but my guess is that they may be short-changing the local florists or may have such a bad reputation, that the sub-contractor(s) don't co-operate with them. My daughter ordered flowers days ahead for her mother's birthday. Flowers never showed up. Send Flowers say they tried 2 more times with a lame explanation that a local florist couldn't be found. HUH? I live within three miles of 3 different florists! Here is an example of the first email addressed to my daughter:

Thank you for your recent order. Unfortunately, we were unable to locate a florist able to complete the delivery today. With your permission, we would be happy to send the delivery 8/22 with a note of apology explaining the delay, or we would be happy to call the recipient to personally apologize. In addition, we will also include a complimentary upgrade, which will increase the size of your arrangement and give it a fuller look. Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused.

So much for the upgrade. Nothing ever came that day or the next day. Or the next.

This company is HORRIBLE! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY! I ordered flowers 3 days before for my Mothers birthday- they did not deliver the flowers on her birthday as they were supposed to! I had to sit on the phone for 35 mintues to find out where they were. Then they said they would upgrade it & deliver it the next day- THESE ONES WERE NOT DELIVERED EITHER! I have now been on the phone waiting for another 43 minutes & they wont reply to me if or when these will EVER be delivered! This company literally just charges you; steals your money & then never give you your ordered flowers. THEY ARE A SCAM HOW IS THIS COMPANY NOT STOPPED FOR THEFT & FRAUD?

Shame on you SendFlowers, I ordered a bouquet for my best friend's baby girl and half of the flowers were missing, I called and complained about it, the girl on the phone said they would reimburse me all the money plus a $10 gift card. Couple days later I received only 30% of what I paid for and no gift card. I will never use this site ever again, and I will let everyone know to do the same.

I ordered a birthday Victorian teacup flower arrangement online on Saturday for delivery on Sunday to Royal Palm Beach, Florida. They delivered the flowers before noon with no extra charge. The feedback I received was nothing but high praises only. Everyone who saw the flower arrangement were all struck by how gorgeous it looks and the flower recipient who is 94 year old was ecstatic to say the least. Thank you SendFlowers for making it a special birthday for my birthday girl!

No where did it say my flowers would not be delivered. I called back- they hung up on me when I asked how I would know that the ordered wouldn't just be cancelled tomorrow too. Its very depressing because it would have meant a lot for my daughter to get her flowers today, I would have gone with a reputable florist had I known

This is the first time I have ever ordered flowers online, it was the 1st birthday of my husband after our marriage. I ordered a bouquet but they weren't delivered. Got an emailed apology with the option of having a better bouquet sent next day. I agreed and even then the next day when i was expecting bouquet they were cancelled without MY information. Only when i called, got to know that they have cancelled bcoz they could not locate a florist near me. I must say they are worst & my experience with them was very bad. I will never recommend anyone for send flowers.com.

Saturday i place an order for my brother, the picture description said "florist designed bouquet", This morning i called to confirm that the order was going to arrive today and not on a different date. The customer service rep stated the order was out for delivery and would be here soon (i was a little worried on the arrival at the presentation of these flowers because of the bad reviews)

The flowers arrived about 1 hour later and they were so beautiful that my brothers girlfriend cried. Thank you Sendflowers.com

This is the first time I have ever ordered flowers online. I ordered then had to change the place of delivery to another town the morning of delivery. I got a little worried about the delivery called customer service several times and was assured they would be there before 4:00 and they were. The flowers are very nice and I would order from this vendor again but this time I would not call 4-5 times about the delivery. Linda

Company promises same day delivery. Had good pricing too. Ordered a bouquet for my mother's birthday and they weren't delivered. Got an emailed apology with the option of having a better bouquet sent the following day. I agreed and even gave them the name of the local florist. The florist is closing in a few minutes and the flowers have not been delivered. I called, was put on hold while the rep "called the florist". I asked if they were calling the local one and was told they could not divulge that information. Put on hold again and then was told the flowers would be delivered within the hour. My mother hasn't received the flowers. This company is a total ripoff and I will tell everyone I know to stay away!

Update: flowers delivered from a florist miles away. Promised upgrade to arrangement didn't happen but they were beautiful and mother was pleased. Still wouldn't use this site again. Very unprofessional!

I ordered the "premium" balloons and bear! Total joke! The balloons were left on someone else's doorstep, when we finally got the back, the bear was small and the balloons were on the floor by 6pm! Total $#*!!

Needless to say 2 day advance is not enough time, as well as each individuals stories (all lies of why/what happened) NO REFUND PAID OVER 100 FOR BALLOONS FLOWERS N CHOCOLATES... then when you call they leave you on hold for over 20 minutes, hung up and the recptionist yelled at me and hung up telling me to GET OVER IT!

I'm very pissed off at sendflowers.com I had placed an order of flowers, balloons and chocolates to be sent to my wife's job for her birthday. I made the order two freaking days ago and the $#*!ers called me at 3pm today that they couldn't make the delivery and asked me if they can deliver them tomorrow. I told thew what is the $#*!en point it's her birthday today not tomorrow $#*!. I'm soooo sorry my love I'll make up for it $#*!s. Never placing an order through them I'll just go buy them in person at a local flower shop and deliver them in person...

DO NOT BUY FLOWERS FROM THEM THEY WILL NOT BE DELIVERED. I got a delivery confirmation that says they were delivered. They never got delivered. This was my first time ordering from them and certainly it's my last time.

Do NOT use this company. I ordered a bouquet from sendflowers.com website. It was supposed to be pink and purple roses. Instead, my cousin got a hideous bouquet of orange, yellow and red junky filler flowers. Not one rose in the bunch. What a mistake.

We ordered flowers for Mother's Day and no flowers were delivered. Several calls were placed and they say "We were backed up." They said they would deliver the flowers, it's been one week still no flowers. They never attempted to call or email to explain the problem. We called after 8 days and the CS rep, Brandon, lied saying they did make contact.
I think these guys are scammers.

I can't even begin to tell you how awful of an experience it was dealing with this company. Like other reviewers, I ordered flowers for my mom that were supposed to be delivered on the day before Mother's Day. I get a call on Saturday explaining that the florists in the area had been overbooked. Well, who's fault is that!?! We're talking about 1 of 2 important days of the year for a flower company.

Then, they promised it would be there on Monday/Tuesday. It was not. I spent an hour and a half on Wednesday talking to representatives (call was "disconnected" 3 times!) before they assured me it would be there on Thursday. I had to have it escalated twice before they agreed to comp my order. Seriously... how this company stays in business, I'm not sure. Please just look past the free shipping and use one of the other delivery services. It's not worth the grief.

DO NOT USE THIS $#*!TY COMPANY! Made a major mistake when I decided to give this company a shot for the delivery of my mom's flowers for Mother's Day. I specifically ordered the flowers to be delivered the day before mothers day as I know it gets very busy. Not only were they not delivered on the scheduled day, but when I called on Mother's Day to ask where they were, fafter waiting 20 mins to talk to someone, they told me they were "unsure" of the status and would call me with an update. Few hours later, called to follow up as I didn't hear from them, and after waiting another 20 mins to talk to a live agent they once again "didn't know where they were and could not guarantee delivery time". WTF?

It is now after 6PM on Mother's day and my poor mom waited all day for them to be delivered with nothing. Just called again and they are still "unsure" what is going on. VERY poor customer service, and huge mistake trying them out.

Placed an order on Thursday to have delivered on Friday. Never showed up... was part of a mother's day gift. Called Saturday and waited 30 minutes to see what happened and they said florist was backed up but would deliver that day within a couple hours. Again, never showed up. Called back and was on hold another 20 minutes. Representative stated the florist was trying to find the order and contact the delivery man. She promised she would call me back for an update. Never received a phone call and I had to called back. On hold the third time for an hour just to be told the florist is closed and they would get back to me when they open. Requested a refund and to just cancel the order. I can understand the florist being backed up but to promise delivery that's not even same day which they could not do, then promise delivery the next day which they still could not do... just bad business.

I'm highly disappointed and upset. I sent balloons to someone for their birthday, and they received DEFLATED dollar balloons. The balloons SendFlowers.com sent out were from the DOLLAR TREE! What my friend received looked nothing like what was advertised. SHAME!

Q: AHHH I am kicking myself for not looking for reviews on this before I ordered. This is THE ABSOLUTE WORST flower company. I ordered this for same day delivery on Friday, and it's Tuesday now and I'm trying to get in touch with customer service to find out where my delivery is. I contacted someone yesterday and they basically said oh, that's strange it wasn't delivered we'll try and figure out why. We can't help you, we need to talk to the florist.

You do understand that if it's someones birthday and you deliver flowers 5 days over, it's TOO LATE. If it's Mother's Day, it's TOO LATE! Not only that, but the occasion is OVER and you can NEVER go back to fix it.

I am on the phone with someone now and the same thing, let's get in touch with the florist. Shouldn't you have done that 4 days ago when the flowers weren't delivered?

By the way, as soon as I ordered I received a call from someone saying they couldn't fulfill the same day delivery - which I was okay with - and they would deliver the next day. I thought, wow what great service. Wow was I wrong.

Seriously go somewhere else. I usually use a different company but I decided to try this out for some reason. Don't do it.
