The overall reputation of the company reflects significant dissatisfaction among sellers, primarily due to inadequate customer support and a frustrating user experience. Common concerns include long response times, unresolved issues, and a lack of tailored assistance, leading many to consider leaving the platform. While some sellers acknowledge the potential for sales, the overwhelming sentiment is one of frustration with the outdated interface and poor communication. This feedback suggests a pressing need for improvements in support training and system functionality to enhance seller satisfaction and retention.

Was ment to be paid on the 8th June! Said my card was invailed! It was not! Contacted them and they said the payment would now go out on the 22nd June! Asked for the payment team to contact me and was told they would within 24hrs! They didnt! Contacted again and was told AGAIN the payment team would contact me within another 24hr! They never did! Asked to talk to a manager and was told I would be contacted within 24hr! You guessed it! They never! Now Im told for no reason the oayment will go out on the 24th June and then will go into my account 5 days later! What a joke! DO NOT USE!
They won't pay me keep saying my credit card is invalid. Funny other merchants don't have trouble with it. Is this how they make money take a product that belongs to someone else sell it and keep all the money not just their fees but all the money
A lady before me reviewed yhe same, and she is a hundred percent correct when she says it's like talking to a wall. To try to get anything fixed or corrected with listings is absolutely ridiculous, none of the customer service Representatives have common sense to know which products belong in which caregories. They only care about the buyer and sellers get screwed very often due to dishonest buyers. I am suprised so many people are still using amazon. What a joke! Ebay is the way to go for sure!
They take to long at Amazon to get you paid when you sell an item.
I sell quite successfully on EBay and via my own website but I thought I would try Amazon Seller Central to up my sales figures.
It was the biggest mistake I ever made. The information they wanted was unbelievable and unless you understand the science of logistics and all the jargon, forget it. Then they wanted me to pay them GBP 30.00 per month or else I had no control over how I sold my products. After 6 months they asked me for information that I could not provide and told me they would close my account. I had had enough and told them to go ahead.
In the 6 months I sold with them I sold 2 items whereas, on eBay I sold 50 of the same item.
Amazon Seller Central are anti small business and impossible to deal with.
Stay away if you want to sell your products and get paid! There are other better options for sellers on the online market place. They take and hold your money for no reason so you are basically selling your items and products for free. I lost so much product and I followed all the rules! I have to get an attorney for them to release my money they have had for OVER the 90 day period. Not only holding my money, but they stand behind EVERY buyer and online scammer! If you have been selling online you are aware of the chargebacks and how they hurt business, Amazon is much worse! I was an Amazon buyer for years on the Prime list. I will never renew my membership and I plan to use other sites that are beginning to step up to the plate to take over Amazon's unfair seller central.
My book went into a second printing with a new cover. I still had a few boxes of the 1st edition that I sent to Amazon to sell off and it was selling great. Then they decided not to post the 1st edition when the title of the book was searched and the sales of the old edition stopped. The only way people could find the listing is if they searched by the ISBN number. I wrote time after time trying to get them to list the image of the 1st edition by title. I got answers that made no sense and questions were not even addressed. I think I was corresponding with someone in another country. Finally they wanted to classify the 1st edition as old storage and I had them send them back. When they sent them back they were loosely thrown in a box with no packing material. All seven books received damage to their covers. My distributor has all my books listed on Amazon but as for me personally I will never sell through them again. Worst customer service for sellers.
Worst software... horrible seller support, all nonsense. I can't believe they are in business.
Amazon Seller central is extremely user UNfriendly.
Half the time I want to do something, something that should be rather simple to do I have to call them, and no one there even knows what is going on, I always experience long hold times while they "look into my issue" I was once on hold for so long, the lady came back and was talking about something completely different than what I had asked her about!
They will have you download a form in Excel format and than ask for it back in. TXT so you have to convert it, they will transfer you 3 times before getting you an answer. It's always a bad time when I have to call Amazon Seller support
Here is the deal. Everything is so automated with amazon seller. So if there is a problem call or email amazon and they will help you! I have been selling for 5 years and I have run into soooo many problems. But its ok, because they will help you.
I don't like that they give the buyers a refund any time they cry though.
An absolute nightmare is the only way I can discribe this company. I closed my seller account in early 2014 only to receive an email over a year later to claim I owed amazon £1.02p on the account. They insisted my account was not closed and could not be closed until I paid them the £1.02p. They sent emails from noreply email addresses. I explained to them in my Emails written on their website that any balance was cleared in 2014 and that no money was owing to them. Evidence of this was that I could not access the closed seller account! I shall never sell on amazon ever again. They were not bright when my seller account was open. They're a nightmare when it's closed! They will need to explain should they go to court why it took them well over a year to request £1.02p and why an account which according to them is not closed, cannot be accessed. They would also not talk to me over the phone unless I gave them my credit card number which I refused to do!. They claimed this was their policy for identifying people. But this is not true because when I have called them before they did not ask for this information. Be aware!
I uesd to be a seller in amazon and they close me for a mistake i said sorry and didnt mean it and it want happen any more and i gave them my plan but they refuse to comunicate
I sell on Amazon since 2010 and to be honest with you I think they are terrible. I do not do it to make money, I lost my job so I sell my stuff to get by. Their fees are HUGE, when I started they were more or less reasonable but now on $12 sale after shipping and fees I pocket maybe $3-5 and this is NOT profit this is what I get, profit is non-existent. But this is not even the point - their support is terrible - offshore call centers only keep you on hold and so far I am yet to see resolution for any issue. If you get some customer who is fishing for free stuff and lie that they received wrong item but refusing to return it and demand full refund, Amazon just says Not OUR Problem. My account got suspended for a day with no complains or claims and after 2 hours on hold they told me that maybe next day I get e-mail with explanation - never happened, account was released with no explanation. And the last drop is any small mistake and they shut you down, NO room for error. If you ask me if I had to sell for profit I rather spend my money on promoting my own web-site rather then selling via Amazon.
I sell on Amazon seller central, im from the UK, i was suspended on November 16th 2014, i admit i was slightly late sending things out but i was catching up, i called the Amazon seller central and spoke to an advisor, they said im not suspended and not to worry, so i thought great but then i logged onto it on the 16th November and it said i was suspended, i had pending orders of nearly 2 hundred pounds and they un pended them and they are holding the money when i need to send all my orders out, how am i supposed to send stuff out without any cash? Not happy right now, hopefully Amazon will reinstate me as christmas is coming up soon and that is the time you need the money the most
While I found it fairly easy to set up to SELL on amazon, the company doesn't offer much support to their sellers. Additionally they make the feedback system somewhat unwieldy - I was left bad feedback from a New Jersey seller THREE DAYS after a purchase because she did not yet have her product (and was subsequently suspended by amazon from selling). For some reason amazon makes it difficult for a buyer to contact a seller. I've also heard countless tales of amazon engaging in the practice of "holding" sellers' funds... to the tune of thousands. Considering how they treat their sellers, I have really limited my amazon purchases.
Ease of purchase, quick interface with buyers. Best pricing! I love Amazon and visit it daily. Look at the Gold Box every day to get worthwhile discounts on quality merchandise.
I was surprised at how incompetent amazon is at something as simple as allowing a seller to offer their products on amazon.com. They are utterly unresponsive and will routinely hold your funds for 60+ days while they try to determine if you are a "fraudulent" seller! It really seemed like I was being punished for selling my products on their site too quickly (there was an existing marketplace on yahoo stores). Their 15% fee is very steep, and I had to eliminate certain product lines in order to profit selling on amazon.com.
Answer: If I was you I will stop everythings involving with Amazon and find others platforms to sell my products. Usually it takes 2-3 weeks under reviews. In your case 46 days it means there is a probleme. But this is only the 1st problems tons will come, TONS.
Answer: [email protected] I would complain to the AG for Washington and copy Customer service. Worst case (if you can) set up a new bank account. You will be extremely lucky if you get a real person to speak with you. Good luck.
