I bought a pair of eyeglasses with a progressive prescription from SelectSpecs. Their product and service was excellent- the eyeglasses ended up not suited to my face - the return process smooth and the refund was prompt. Will buy again.

Where do I even start. I ordered a pair of Maui Jim Ohai prescription sunglasses on Feb 5th 2022. I emailed them a month later and they admitted they forgot my order and didn't even start yet. They live the word sorry(which means nothing to them) then they told me I would get reimbursed for shipping and a portion of the glasses. Haven't seen that yet. Todays date is March 5th 2022. I was understanding at first till I heard one excuse after another and what annoyed me the most is I would write an email and would be lucky to hear back in a week. Average time to reply is 5-8 days. And they live to throw you options of free glasses which I didn't need instead putting the money towards the free glasses to the discount of my sunglasses. At no point in the annoying deal have I asked anything from them besides the product I ordered. They just kept offering but did nothing to the current order. My ordered failed quality control in April and they had to start over but hey they didn't reach out to me I had to email them
First to figure out what was going on. So be prepared to be a baby sitter cause they won't initiate conversation nor communication with you. But they will say sorry 100 times. I now finally got my pair of glasses on March 5 2022. And they send me matte black prescription lenses with non prescription Hawaiian lava lenses. What good is that gonna do me? On top of that they sent the lava lenses not attached to the frames. With no instructions or tools to do the swap. So you have been warned they don't care about you or your time and needs. Your just an order. Communication sucks. How they handle things sucks and $400 glasses can come in pieces with no instructions. I guess I understand why they are downsizing and closed the USA branch and closed Canadas branch. I wouldn't anyone doing business with anyone who doesn't put their customers first. I have email after email to prove my statement. What a headache and nightmare. I wish I could put up photos on how things were sent and show you some emails.

Excellent service, have used a number of times, have always been very happy with the glasses I have received.

This is the worse company I have ever dealt with, their customer support is dreadful. After numerous complaints I eventually got a reply from customer service apologising and promising it will be dealt with. My glasses are ready 'apparently' but have been in their quality control department for 10 DAYS! I have been waiting for over a month for an order that they day will be with you within 7-10 days.

While the Select Specs has an extensive range of frames and lens options they unfortunately are seriously lacking in customer service skills. Orders take forever and that is if they actually do show up. The worst thing is the complete lack of communication regarding orders as you stare at the screen in limbo hoping for an update.

Save your time, money and disappointment, and purchase your glasses from another retailer.

Love my Ferucci Titanium rimless frames with Office prescription progressive lenses. But perhaps most of all I really appreciate Customer Service. Real people respond to your questions and address any problems experienced quickly. I would not hesitate to recommend this company.

I ordered a pair of glasses to replace a broken pair. My optician said earlier they could repair mine was a minimum of 2 weeks. I ordered with Select Specs and within 10'days had well made and presented pair of glasses for a small cost. Excellent customer service, easy website to navigate and the quality of the glasses surpassed my expectations. I will definitely be using them again!

Easy simple ordering with cheap glasses that dont look cheap. Fast delivery and good choices good lenses and cheapish postage

Bough a box of 24pcs contact lenses. The expiry date is less than 1 year and it was not indicated in the product page. Customer service, Victoria De, can only offer us a refund if we mail back the lenses to them. We are located half the word away from them. Very disappointed and feel cheated after being a customer of several years. Do not buy contact lenses from them!

I have used this company twice and both times they were brilliant, excellent customer service, and despite the fact that I live abroad the glasses were delivered on time and in perfect condition. No easy thing when sending to Italy! I also messed up a subscription last year and despite it being entirely my fault they sorted it all out at minimal cost to me. Thank you, so much.

NO EXPLANATION FOR GLASSES BREAKING ON MY HEAD
Ordered reading glasses and my lenses were not equalled out like majority offer. They never even asked. I received my glasses after a long wait. They looked nice. After approx 3-4 times being used, the frames cracked while on my head. I sent pictures and had to send them back and wait for another pair which was supposed to be within 7 days but wasnt, so couldnt read bills or documents. I finally received another pair and after the 3 time I wore them the same thing happened cracked while wearing them, but only 1 side this time. No warning in description of frames that only suitable for certain lenses.
I made contact again and said would equaling the lenses out and making them thinner help. I also said a refund otherwise as I didnt want them again as is. Have photos I can share.
They just offered me a refund of less than I paid and no explanation or apologies. No good will gesture to thin the lenses or even at a reduced cost. They explained nothing both times. Have emails willing to share if necessary.
I would not recommend as you get no explanation. Just refund being processed for less money than charged.

I've recently required some driving glasses and returned to SelectSpecs for them. Saved £38 and I'm very happy with them. I would recommend SelectSpecs for anyone who knows what style of frames they prefer.
