Been shopping with selectspecs for years, recommend to friends and family or anyone wanting new glasses, I've purchased from the really cheap to the higher end brands Jimmy choo, ray bans etc and always brilliant (even the £5 ones) buy from them once you won't go elsewhere again

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY. They sent my parcel to a completely different address that which I posted it to. Meaning it got lost in the system and I had to travel an hour to pick it up. No apology. No refund for the express delivery I paid for. No customer service whatsoever.

First time ordering glasses online. I am very happy, prescription is perfect and love the frames. So much cheaper too

Time was taken not hurried every aspect explained carefully and clearly nice not to be rushed and felt like all my concerns were listened too and dealt with in a very positive manner

Unfortunately, my experience with the company was not satisfactory. Despite placing an order a month ago, I did not receive any response after sending multiple emails.

I then contacted the company through their chat service 4 times, where I was given excuses, such as:

"We have your frame, now waiting for your glass to be ready"

Two week passes by for the next excuse:

"We have your glass, now waiting for your frame."

However, even after receiving these responses, I did not receive any updates for another two weeks.

Ultimately, due to the long delay and lack of communication, I had no choice but to cancel my order, and now I am left without the glass I had hoped to receive.

High value products, fast delivery and personalised customer service. Never had a problem in the years I've used SelectSpecs. Highly recommended vendor.

I have been buying from Selectspecs for some years now and am amazed they can hold down their prices as they do.

Quick easy to choice frames, from wide selection, benefiting from not leaving your home to choose the frames and lenses you want. Prompt delivery, second time i have ordered from them, would not hesitaye to recommend select specs

Avoid – order was delayed, anti-glare coating is very poor quality and there is no substitute for trying on frames at an Opticians. Summary: I purchased my 1st ever pair of glasses from SelectSpecs and had a very simple reading glasses prescription, I really should have stuck with Boots Optician who were great, advised and helped me pick the right frames (Penguin). Being penny wise, I then choose the same pair form SelectSpecs – this was my 1st mistake. It took over a month for my glasses to arrive where Boots guaranteed delivery to store within 7 working days – select Specs gave the reason of Designer Frames taking longer despite their website suggesting 10 days. The Anti-Glare coating isn't good quality and after complaining, I was offered a discount for a second pair from Select Specs' 'Sliver' range. I selected and paid (£30) for a spare pair which i didn't really need despite being a very poor selection, only to be delayed again and then required to pay a further £55 as the cost of the simple prescription lenses had increased since the time (3 weeks & their delay) of my 'in process' order. This firm is really unprofessional, unreliable and untrustworthy. I still await a refund!

UPDATE: The latest delivery was supposed to arrive today 24th December, I waited the whole day as it gave me a slot in between 2 hours. And guess what? The delivery guy cancelled my slot by saying they couldn't find the address. I AM BEYOND FRUSTRATED WITH SELECTSPECS and THEIR TERRIBLE PARTNER YODEL.
Please DO NOT buy from this terrible terrible company people and save your mental health and time and energy...

I hate leaving negative reviews, but I had to come and write this one.

It's been 3 weeks since I ordered my prescription glasses.

First time, the parcel got lost by their most terrible delivery partner, Yodel. Then after waiting for 2 weeks seeing the same status on Yodel's website, I called 3 times Yodel and then found out that the parcel is probably lost. Then I had to call SelectSpecs and explain the situation. They said they will send a new pair. It's been 1 week, I haven't got even a tracking number. I asked them to send it before Christmas and they said it should arrive before Christmas. I have no hopes, though.

I would highly tell you to DO YOURSELF A FAVOR and spend a little bit more money and go with a better glasses company.

UPDATE 2: I received an email from SelectSpecs that they sent my order today... and guess what, it's again by YODEL. On my continuous requests for not sending the order by YODEL, they didn't care at all... That shows how much they value their customers...

To date I have purchased 4 pairs of prescription glasses and I am pleased with the wide range and prices. They do feel a bit plastic, but they are nice and light and I will definitely be purchasing more pairs from Selectspecs.

Forget your high street stores these guys offer same products virtually and at a tenth of the cost. Good value good service ordered many pairs never disappointed...happy to recommend and will I use them again dam right I would

Just wish the turnround was faster but put that down to full order books and volume of work

Only issue is not them but the delivery company dpd it's like hunt the thimble if they can't get the parcel in the letter box and royal mail ain't much better

Very good. I've always payed expensive for glasses ever since I needed to wear them, my last lot cost about £400. So decided to try these to save money. Got a pair of prescription for £28. And they are very good. Been wearing them since purchase.

Bought sight unseen. Sent prescription, selected glasses. Rapid delivery. 100% satisfied. Recommend highly.

Placed an order for 5 different spectacles for the family. Delays in shipping and issues with customer services to give clarity on European shipping. Finally the order arrived after some weeks. They were of average quality spectacles, 4 were reading ones and were OK except the screws keep loosening weekly and this is annoying for my wife and daughter.
However the Main pair for driving with Green Transitions lenses were good at the start, within 3 months of use the dark external coating on the frames started to ripple on the arms around the ears. Making it uncomfortable to wear.
After emailing them when in the UK for easter for 2 weeks, they replied back late and I had left the UK to go back home. This was at the time a simple resolution to send me replacement arms and I can fit them and send back the faulty ones. NO that was too simple and I had to return the complete frames back for full inspection.
Many emails later the "Jobsworth" technicians refused to understand simple logic and common sense of it.

I could not do without them and have had to live with the glasses which have become worse by the month. Now I can see signs of the coating coming off the front face of the frames.
Soon enough they will look really ugly and will become like the sides.
There is No option other than to send the complete frames back. To sustain the extra cost and the period of being without my driving glasses. What they will do in the end is anyones guess.

Online they offer a great many options and with having 5 different frames from them, They are worse than the Online Chinese websites. Which I have used before and I can say none of their frames were so poor in quality.
Only because of the green Transitions lenses I chose this company.

In future I will stay away from them. I can see many people have had good experiences and I don't believe they care when an issue happens to individuals.

Be cautious is allI can say..

Great service and prompt delivery, could have done with the bridge being a bit wider,(about 5cm more would have been great) but I knew that they were only 18mm bridge, still good vision will try for different model with wider option next time, absolute bargain, more coming soon, thanks again, Peter.
