Janet Jackson was cancelled due to Corvid and they do not want to give us our money back... everyone else has been nice and refunding people but not them... anyone having the same problems and would like to file a case action lawsuit against this company? First overcharge for tickets now this nightmare! Do not buy anything from this company bad service!
Our event was cancelled. It took me 2 hours to even contact anyone at Secureboxoffice. I tried 3 different approaches and was on hold for over an hour. Then I was told that they did not issue refunds for cancelled performances and I could have a store credit. I requested a refund instead and was told that because of the "governments policies" I could only have a store credit. I have family who have gotten refunds from other venues/ providers for other events and know this is a complete lie. They stole our money!
Do NOT get your tickets from here! I spent almost 400.00 on a ticket for this years Boston Calling, for one day and for that specific line up. They refused to refund it, and then assured me that I will get another ticket for next years event, obviously not guaranteeing the acts I paid to see. You wouldn't piss so many people off, if you would've broken your policy due to the pandemic, it's that simple.
Customer service is a joke! Never able to get in touch with anyone. Cheating company that basically stole our money and refuse to give back after an event was cancelled!
The Santa Fe Opera cancelled its 2020 season due to COVID-19. My opening night performance was, therefor, obviously cancelled. Secure Box Office sold me two tickets at a scalpers price (which I don't even have yet by the way) for the performance July 2,2020.
I see from these reviews that MANY of you CAN NOT GET A REFUND and are in a similar situation.
I SUGGEST WE COLLECTIVELY HIRE AN ATTORNEY TO REPRESENT US TO GO AFTER THOSE JERKS.
If you are willing to do that please email me at *******@gmail.com. I will do all the legwork. We have a legitimate complaint.
THANKS!
Richard R.
I purchased tickets through secure box office for a play that is not on the venue of the place I purchased the tickets. I called the theater to determine if the play was still going to be shown due to COVID 19 and they informed me that the play was never on the current list of plays at the theater. I can not get hold of anyone at secure box office. I get in this cycle of robo messages on line and on the phone. I have turned this dispute over to my credit card company and hopefully this scam will be resolved.
Payed for tickets and even with the vendor saying your get refund from the point of sale. They refuse to give me a refund. Once they have your money they don't care and customer service doesn't exist. Never buy tickets here.
We are not very happy with Secure Box Office Refund Policies Dishonest and crooked
I purchased two tickets to a Brad Paisley concert for $473.00. We are excited to see him and are willing to pay this amount for the event. But now the concert was cancelled.
We have been communicating with the Customer Service people at Secure Box Office for a number of weeks. We have been getting a royal runaround. They first said they couldn't find our order we kept providing additional documents to confirm our purchase. Each email they kept saying we didn't purchase tickets. Now have a finally provided them with screenshots of our email address ordered from our invoice and bank charge. Now after weeks of email communication runaround they are saying they can't do refunds and they can only do in store credits. Well sorry we don't need almost $500.00 or t-shirts.
NEVER purchase tickets from this ticket company they are crooks, they are making millions of dollars by not refunding tickets. This is ridicules. From my simple calculations they are keeping over $2,500,000 of fans money. They are in the wrong! Please support me in pushing them to do refunds!
I asked for a refund due to the show being postponed. They will not issue a refund, only say NOT REFUNDABLE PURCHASE. I purchased INSURANCE and it does not cover what the events with the virus. All they do is quote their guidelines. I will never use this company and I warn everyone watch them. The customer service is very bad. No one knew this was going to happen, but hold my money and do not have date for show. I was trusted both companies. They cashed in and made their money. I am in customer service for 35 years and this is not the way to treat customers. I do not write reviews but I do not want people to get taken advantage of.
Terrible experience... I spent $1200 on tickets for an event that has been delayed over a month, no contact, no updates, just talk about we will get you a return when we get a final cancellation. What, they going to hold if for another 6 months?
Couldn't reach a live agent on the phone so user chat... useless, canned responses.
Terrible customer service
The crooks will not issue a refund to me. They offer credit for a new venue but have to use it before 2020 is over. I want my money back. They claim their policy indicates they dont do that. But that is false. Crooks. I am taking them down!
I purchased 3 tickets the Redsox open opener from them back in December. I was careful to read the cancellation policy and refund policy just in case of bad weather or anything. When I received my confirmation email it showed only 2 tickets purchased so I immediately tried to call or contact their customer service to correct the issue. I never got a live person. I tried to dispute it on my credit card and couldn't either.
Now, months later we are all facing this Covid-19 issue and the game has been cancelled. I just received an email that they changed their policy due to the mass cancellations and will be issuing me a site credit! How is this legal? I have gotten my attorney involved but never again. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!
I had tickets to a cancelled concert and contacted them about the refund. First they denied the concert was cancelled despite it being listed as such on both the tour listing and the venue website. They finally admitted that and said they might just give store credits. Finally the money might be coming in the future when they get around to it maybe.
This place is crooked. I ordered 2 tickets to OneRepublic and the concert was cancelled they notified me a month ago stating we would see a refund, now received received email stating only giving credits to future concerts. I am not working due to Covid 19 and they are keeping my $368.70. I need that money to buy groceries for my kids. They said they due to covid19 and the shut down they can no longer give a refund. I contacted them and asked them to provide me with their corporate office and they even refused to give me that information. Very shading don't buy tickets from them they are selfish and only think of themselves
"Online resale ticket exchange TicketNetwork, Inc., and two of its marketing partners, Ryadd, Inc. and SecureBoxOffice, LLC, have settled Federal Trade Commission and State of Connecticut allegations that their advertisements and websites misled consumers into thinking they were buying event tickets from the original venue at face value. Instead, the complaint alleges, the defendants' websites actually were ticket reseller sites with event tickets often priced above the venue's original price." Source: ftc.gov, July 24,2014. This happened to me when I bought tickets for Lady Gaga. What showed up on my credit card was not what I paid for when I purchased the tickets. Then when it was cancelled SecureBoxOffice emailed that they'd give a refund and then followed up with a decision to give a coupon (credit) instead. I tried calling customer service, was sent into a spiral of recordings and then disconnected after holding for 35 minutes. FYI, I thought I was buying tickets through Ticketmaster and somehow got routed to SecureBoxOffice - beware of this too!
This company is an online rip off artist. They will not refund money for events cancelled due to Covid 19. They said
I would receive a refund and after 6 weeks changed it to a 120% coupon. Buyer beware. I would not use this company again.
Bought tickets to cirque soleil. The event was cancelled. After promising a full refund they changed their policy and will only give a credit for future purchase. Theives
DO NOT use this company for your concert tickets! They will take your payment, promise you tickets two days before the event and offer no contact there after. My event was cancelled and they sent me a message they were CHANGING their policies and only giving STORE CEDIT now, no refunds! In good faith, I overpaid for two tickets plus fees because the Birmingham Stapelton concert was filling up and now they will not refund $500+. Beware FRAUD!
Purchased 2 tickets online to J. Osteen's event in NY on 5/2/2020. Event cancelled due to pandemic. Informed refund credited back to card in 2-4 weeks. Today, nformed no refund. Instead, a coupon for future event.
Answer: This site is a SCAM! They significantly up-charge the face value of tickets and make a profit.
Answer: Uh I was charged TRIPLE for mine! They suck!
