I bought tickets to Pearl Jam at Fenway Park yesterday. The seats I bought were great for the price I paid, although I bought them at the last minute. Once I confirmed the transaction, I got an email telling me that my purchase was confirmed and just had to wait for the seller to release to tickets to me. That happened within 5 minutes and I had the tickets on my phone to enter the concert. Super easy - very satisfied!
When I finally got my ticket and needed to accept it, I had to make maybe five accounts just to be able to accept it and until maybe an hour of time wasted it finally worked and the crazy thing is I still don't know why. But some of my friends weren't as lucky. For one of my friends it didn't work at all so we finally resorted to just calling up 212-Yankees (we were supposed to go to a Yankees baseball game) and after waiting on hold and speaking to an imbecile representative we were told nothing could be done we have to speak to seatgeek. So that's what we did and we were on the phone with dare I say the stupidest representative ever because possibly seatgeek might've hired someone stupider than him. We spoke to him for over an hour and a half and had enough of his repetitive reply of "that is the best I can do" or "that's your best option right now" we demanded to speak to a supervisor but to no avail we were transferred to an even stupider and ruder representative who even hung up on our faces. We ended up buying tickets direct from the Yankees Box Office which were cheaper and for about the same seats. So basically no seatgeek is not useful and I was extremely unsatissfied and this wasn't even the whole story this was the best I can do to sunmarize while pouring out all my anger and frustration in a matter of minutes
Easy to use, plenty of options, just filter your needs and search. Love that it shows accurate seating
Took no time at all. I got the tickets and seats we wanted for the Illinois game we wanted to go to.
Very easy to use. Only helpful feature would be to add seatview. Particularly to concert. We had partially obstructed view and hard to understand what that entailed
And Good work sponsoring the ringer. Love the podcasts and why I use this app
I inadvertently purchased two sets of tickets, immediately realizing my error, I contacted SeatGeek customer support, but was told I couldn't cancel an order.
I have purchased tickets several times. Hey offer the best deals, seat selection and quick transaction processing.
Just wanted to do something special for my son's 21st birthday. Glad I was able to find 6 seats together. He will be extremely excited to attend the game with the family.
The process was easy, quick and provided the best prices. Confirmation was received within minutes even though it said it could take up to 2 hours.
I've always had good luck finding seats the price varies a lot but when you want to see your team play you sometimes pay the price
My only comment for improvement is related to dodger stadium itself. With the tickets I purchased we could only go through one specific entrance. Would be great if SeatGeek could alert us to the entrances to use after the tickets have been purchased.
I purchased 5 tickets for DC United on Wednesday night for high school seniors. They were extremely excited at getting the tickets and attending the game. When they got to the game, they were not able to sit in the seats they purchased - they were told it was "open seating", not anywhere was that mentioned. They had to find seats many rows higher - the steward would not honor their paid tickets or ask the people sitting in their paid seats to move. Is there anything that can be done about this?
I listed tickets for an NFL game at over $300 and Seatgeek sold them for $15. I will never use this site again to list tickets. Spoke to their customer service and they said there was nothing they could do to help me. And the game is not for another 2 months, why would I have gone down so drastically.
We bought our tickets for Taylor Swift at Ford Field Aug 29 from Seatgeek. The tickets they sent us were not accepted by the gate agent as they only gave the QR vide and not the barcode which is unique to the buyer. We called the seatgeek customer service rep who was no help at all, asked six times if they scanned the QR code which was useless. My daughter was in tears. We will never, ever, use Seatgeek again,
Purchased tickets and the transaction went through on my card, but the e-tickets were not delivered. I called and after a long hold, they said they had sold the tickets already. I was refunded a few days later.
$45 fee was shocking and over the top IMO. I couldn't see them till checkout and then my final invoice showed no fee and a higher ticket price. Consistency and straightforward pricing please!
I bought 2 tickets for my daughter and a friend to attend the concert. The tickets were sent to there phone to to scanned at concert gate. They did not work and there was no way to pull them up another way while at the concert. We tried pulling up emails and there was no tickets.
Answer: Shana is correct, Seat Geek takes no responsibility for tickets and have no customer service and will not return calls if things do not work out Stub Hub is much better
Answer: Hi Beth, Welcome to SeatGeek! In order to maintain our marketplace we do have fees, but we'll always show you a thorough price breakdown of your order before you can checkout. Plus, we've got options so you can actually search for tickets and see the fees included in the price from the get-go. Simply use the filter "Prices with fees" when searching for listings.
