I ordered a more expensive ticket that promised delivery "within minutes" yet no ticket was delivered. Now 72 hours later, Seat geek is still apologizing saying they've contacted the real seller but not to worry the tickets will show up before the show. They were unwilling to provide a cancellation even though the tickets were false advertising. I contacted visa and shared the details and visa was happy to support me in a dispute and cancel payment to seatgeek.
Seatgeek is simply a search engine and resells tickets from other resellers and so has no control. From seatgeek.:

I am an old guy not very familiarized with IT and found out SeatGeek a Great and easy service to get baseball tickets.
I almost didn't buy because my fees were around $100 for three tickets. I bought them because my son wanted to go, but next time will probably buy elsewhere.

So generally if you end up with tickets you don't need or want anymore the easiest thing to do is sell them. You can do that simply by logging into the app, if they are e-tickets, and clicking the sell button. This will let you set the price and list them for sale.
That said, if this was in error we can sometimes find a resolution and refund one of the orders. I will reach out to you directly and we can find a resolution that works best for you!

Purchased 2 tickets to the 8/11/2019 little feat show in Louisville that were advertised at a price if $76 each w/ $23 service charge. BUT MY CREDIT CARD WAS CHARGED $1100. 00! CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE AND GOT THE POLICY THAT I COULD SELL'UM OR EAT'UM, NO CANCELLATIUONS( EVEN THOUGH THE REQUEST WAS W/IN 24HRS. I'm now going to go thru the NY State AG WITH A COMPLAINT AND MY CREDIT CARD CO. WHAT CRAPPY CUSTOMER SERVICE IN A "FOREIGN COUNTRY"

Prices for events fluctuate on the secondary market. Meaning even if prices are lower today, they may have been higher when you ordered. We do have the ability to see what was reflected on the order when you placed it. So if you have screen shots of the order at the cost you listed or reach out to us we will be able to verify if the order changed price on you or you got charged different then what was said on the checkout page.
If the checkout page does reflect the cost you paid, our policy is that all sales are final. We don't have a window for returns. It sounds like your options were already covered by a rep.

SeatGeek was great. Found me better seats for cheaper, along with better cheaper parking. Would definitely recommend checking it out for any events you have coming up!
Scalpers suck and the price for tickets is outrageous, then we get gouged for a "service" fee.
Selling tickets at 3 to 10 times their face value is bad enough.

I have already reached out to you directly to make sure we resolved this issue for you, but I wanted to be sure I posted a public response also so other users could see the answer to your concerns and experience.
When our tickets are marked as instant tickets and state within minutes, that is true the majority of the time. In your case that did not happen. I do not know if the change in delivery wasn't updated in our system but do know we will look into it. Our standard policy is that tickets must be fulfilled at least a day prior to the event. Sometimes when a seller marks a ticket for delivery method that is the method they have been told they will get the ticket and then event or venue changes can cause that to change. When it does we try to take every step to notify the customer. That said we are sorry a ticket was marked as being fulfilled in minute when that wasn't the case and take responsibility for that.
The statement you got is not fully true as well. We began as a search engine for tickets, something similar to what Kayak does for hotels and flights, but have evolved to be more. We have direct relationships with our sellers, who we vet and have contracted agreements with. Which is why we can offer guarantees.
