I got a cover for my vehicle. It was excellent quality. It isn't a form-fitting cover but is big and I got the heaviest quality one. Unfortuanaly I'm an old guy and it was too much for me to get on and off each time without a lot of work or some help. I had to try and get it over a Hummer. As far as the quality of the product. It was heavy duty and waterproof.

I don't like returning things, but I told them it wouldn't work for me. They sent me a return label and they paid for the postage back. There were no hassles. I understood when I bought it that there would be a 20% restock and I'm fine with that. There was no hassle to return it. I got the refund. The product itself was very well made. I would recommend them even though the one I bought for myself didn't work for me.

I purchased a premium truck cover for my f150. When I received it, I put it on my truck. If you put it on the front bumper, it barely made it halfway down the tail gate. When you put it in the back bumper, it barely stretched over the headlights. The corners didn't line up, and the side mirror pouches were not centered right. I returned it, and seal skin sent me a second cover. This cover was not the premium, and it was 5 feet too long. When I told them I wanted another cover, the help desk responded and said that they are actually semi fit covers and will be either too short or too long. Strange, because nowhere in their website does it say semi fit. The website says 100% guaranteed fit. Who would drop $200 for a semi fit cover that wouldn't fit right. So I returned it for a refund and they still stuck me with the restock fee. I dealt with seal skin for a month and a half to get it resolved, and it didn't happen. So I bought a cover from carcover.com, fit perfect!

I ordered a custom fit, water proof cover for a new jet ski. After receiving the cover I placed it on my jet ski which was in the garage for the remainder of the winter. The cover was not custom fit, nothing like described and looked nothing like the photos online. But for $120 I figured that is what I got. The first day it was taken to the lake it rained. The cover was not water proof as advertised, it leaked through the whole thing, including zippers on the front which were not part of the cover I ordered. It let so much water thigh that it filled the foot holds on the jet ski with rain water. I attempted to contact customer services and got the runaround, I finally received an email back saying it was past the 30 day warranty and they would not be doing anything to address the issues. DON NOT BUY, spend the few extra $$ and GET A REAL CUSTON FIT COVER FOR YOUR BAOt OR CAR, you will end up buying the better product eventually. I believe I received the wrong cover and didn't notice it for some time and they still will not fix their issue.

Not a good experience with Seal Skin Covers (Elite Era LLC). Purchased their high end snowmobile cover, which they promote as a custom fit for your model. The design was in no way a custom fit, but in fact generic. Did not fit contour of hood or backrest, and tie-downs were such that it could not be secured properly when trailered. Only thing correct was that it was large enough to cover the machine. I returned it and they charged me 20% restocking which is their policy. I worked with Customer Service, telling them I took exception to the restocking fee in that they were selling a product that was not as advertised. They allowed me to email their "Supervisor" department which routes to the "Problem orders dept.". They responded to me that 20% restocking is their published policy that they made me aware of at time of purchase. Never again with this company.

Boat Cover
May 8, 2020

I bought a Seal Skin cover for my 17ft bass boat. The cover itself seems to be made well. The straps that came with the cover are horrible. On my first trip I secured the cover very carefully with the straps and additional clothes line rope... 150/feet worth. Half way through my 400 mile trip 4 of the straps failed, 3 completely tore through. Two of the strap handles sown on the cover also tore. Their warranty policy and process was the biggest joke. They approved a cover replacement but I had to first pay $25 for shipping and they refused to send a replacement until they received and inspected the damaged cover... I couldn't be without a cover for even a few weeks. I agreed to keep my cover if they would replace the straps and waive the $25. I even sent pictures. They claimed the straps were an accessory and not warranted! So far nothing... I'm not even sure a human was reading my emails. Buy your cover somewhere else.

Buyer beware
May 5, 2020

I Purchased a cover from seal skin covers which was supposed to be their best cover. When it arrived and I open the package to my dismay I felt it was poor quality. I contacted the merchant and explained my displeasure. They responded by saying it was probably a mess select please return it and we will send you the correct cover. I thought that was reasonable. I asked for a return shipping label both email and telephone calls after multiple attempts and no label I contacted my credit card company to dispute the charge. Within days I received the return label. I sent the cover back in its original packaging. When seal skin covers received the package they informed me that what they sent me originally was their best cover. I then asked for a refund. That's when I found out there was a 20% restocking fee Hidden in the fine print by this merchant. This cover which they call their best cover will scratch the surface of your car taking it on and off. I do not recommend this product and I do not recommend this merchant.

I ordered two car covers last year November 2019 both car covers shipped late one longer than the other the first cover that arrived was for an 2018 Toyota Sequoia and the size of it was too short as it hung one feet up from the bottom of my suv which depletes the purpose of covering my vehicle. I asked for and exchange and returned the item back and that too was late even when my second cover hasn't arrived yet and this is in February of 2020. Replacement arrived and now the thing is too long front and back throwing the sure fit completely out the window, I email again for another replacement and I never hear from them again. I call to ask about a replacement and my second cover but but got was reassured by the sales person that my cover for my silverado was on its way and a replacement form for my sequoia was being established. Two weeks later I get the Silverado cover and it too didn't fit. By this time the covid 19 happened and all forms of communicating with this company has disappeared I ended up with two 200 dollars of car covers that do not fit my vehicles and can't sell them because it will not fit any other vehicles. I do not recommend this product and the customers service is horrible.

Terrible product
April 26, 2020

Ordered a cover for my 2016 Chevy Silverado High Country with a cap. Description said it would fit, putting it on the first time the cover did not fit and ripped easily. The heavy duty cover they claimed to have produced is not work the $200. When I emailed customer service to get a replacement it was stated that they can not accept damaged product. If they made a better quality product this would not have happened. DO NOT purchase your covers here.

Seal Skin is the biggest crooks in the world and completely lie when they tell you they have car covers to fit. I have a 1979 Corvette and the cover from Seal Skin does not come close to being a custom fit. As many others have stated, the only place this cover is good for covering is trash - exactly where it belongs. They should be investigated by the NY Attorney General's Office for ripping off their customers by misleading, inaccurate, and completely BS statements!

Way too small
April 23, 2020

I received a cover from my father as a gift for a 1957 Ford Sedan, which I assume would hug its curves. Not only was there no instructions to tell which was the front and which was the back, but the cover was horrendously small. There is no way it was actually for a 1957 Ford... I have a complaint ticket into them now, but reading some other reviews, it looks like I'm stuck with this piece of crap.

To start this whole thing off, we ordered a new cover for our boat the week we were getting it detailed so it could come home extra clean, we get it the boat home, go to put the cover on and turns out they sent us the wrong product. (Didn't have the cutouts for the tower) so we carefully box it up and contact the company. Spent 45 minutes on hold before I got to customer service only for them to tell me I had to send in an email request there was nothing they could do on the phone. Wait another three days for email response to come for them to tell me that their return/exchange policy is only valid for 30 days, we contacted them on day 31. After back and forth with customer service which you better be prepared to sit on the phone for at least an hour to get to talk to someone, they said they would allow it for exchange. That's all we want mind you is to get the CORRECT product we ordered. We have to pay a restocking fee and still can't get anyone on customer service to tell us how we are supposed to pay that. It's been almost three weeks back and forth with them. WORST EVER!

I received the product and couldn't get the cover to stay on the car. I spoke with customer service and they're take was to watch a YouTube video. When I told them I had already watched the video and what they were suggesting didn't work they stopped chatting with me. I asked them if they had anything else to say and they went quiet. This is a company that only wants your money and doesn't care if the product is good or works for you. Steer clear from this company and it's products.

First time use on my Honda Civic Sedan was a disaster. Followed installation directions and added provided under car cable and lock.as well. A storm hit during the evening and the front half of the car cover blew onto the driveway. The car cover was saturated on the ground from the rain. When the Vendor was contacted, warranty was denied and even if it was honored, I would have incurred a 20% restocking fee.

During the same storm, my second car, covered with a Covercraft made to fit car cover, stayed on tight to the car. No problems.

I do NOT recommend purchase of a SealSkin car cover.

Bad fit
April 15, 2020

I ordered a cover for my 23' tritoon boat. 1st cover was about 3' too short. Return was uneventful however getting the second cover, took over 4 weeks after return was shown received at Seal Skin. I was given a tracking # and after 2-weeks of no shipping (just showed shipping tag created) I was told I had a bad tracking number. I requested cancel order and when I followed up 3 days later, they told me product shipped, with the previous shipping tag). Finally after a month of back and forth the cover came. It's not a correct fit it's about 4' too long but I want my boat protected so instead of losing 20% for restocking, I'll make it work... noticed I'm covering the outboard and front trailer ladder, this is not a normal fit. Excess fabric is for a longer boat with full length seating area.

In February of 2020 I ordered the top of the line Seal Skin Cover for my 2020 Sea Doo GTI. From the site advertisement the cover was custom fit for my ski and the image of the website showed a custom fit. In March, after more than a month delay due entirely due to Seal Skin the cover arrive. Once fitted to the Ski is was not a custom fit at all, tight at the handle bars and baggie all around. Not acceptable at all.
I called to get either a replacement or credit, there response was that it was 30 days past the order date. I detailed the sequence of events and requested some consideration in that delay was on their part. There only response was the cover was over the 30 day return date.
One more thing, Seal Skin has 100's of complaints with the Better Business Bureau. Check for yourself.

Very sloppy fit. Too short front to back and too loose side to side. Very cheap, made in China. The tag shows it is really an Oxgord, you can buy them at Wal Mart for about $30.
