Ordered. # ******* on wednesday 9-15-2021 with credit card and the next week on thirsday still not shipped... $5k order. Credot card cleared same day. Called and emailed 4 times... Ordered a order from jm bullion on the following monday and received it thursday. Still waiting on sd to deliver. They even used excuse or address verification this last time after verifying on phone 3 tomes this last 9 days. Email yesterday said i would receive tracking that day. Still waiting not shipped. WHY DID I PAY EXTRA FOR CREDIT CARD AND UP CHARGE FOR 2 DAY SHIPPING? DON NOT USE
Place 2 orders with this company, both time they claimed my echeck bounced, both times demanded credit card number. Both time threatened action against me if I did pay by cc. I checked with my credit union, they told me that SD Bullion never sent a echeck in to them. My credit union recommended I change all my account logins. Go to bbb website you can read about others having the same problem.
Also read that one of the owners was charged with criminal activity too.

When trying to process your payments, if the echecks bounce, this can be due to a typo in the account numbers, or an issue with your bank's ability to process echecks. If we're unable to process an echeck for you for one of these reasons, we can accept alternative payments, such as credit card or bank wire. We're happy to try and sort out any of these issues as they arise!

I bought 10-1oz. Silver coins... Random design and I am very happy with my purchase. The package arrived quickly and all coins were protected in plastic. I love my coins! SD Bullion is a great company and I will order from them again.
DO NOT ORDER YOUR PRECIOUS METALS FROM THIS COMPANY! I ordered 2 silver eagles a few months back and they informed me they would not be delivered until a month and a half later. Fast forward to when they were supposed to arrival and I never received them. I called and asked what happened and they told me there was nothing they could do because I had 3 days to report a lost package. 3 days, seriously? My order was estimated to be delivered a month and a half later with no exact date, but I only have a few days to report it if I never received it?!? My family and I have ordered from this company for a few years now, but we will no longer do business with a company that does not care about their customers. They will take your money and run, then blame it on their terms and conditions.

We apologize that you did not receive your order. With all pre-sale items from the mint, the ship dates are always an estimated guess. As sometimes the mint can have delays we do not guarantee when an order with a pre-sale item will ship. This is why every order of ours receives a tracking confirmation email, with a tracking number. That way the customer can watch for when the package is going to arrive. I buy a fair amount of silver and gold from sdbullion.com - their prices are very fair and they have a good selection of products. You will not be treated by them. Some companies are not as honest as others. That's why I like purchasing from this company as well as one or two others that have a very good reputation.

After referred by a youtuber Jayson Jaws and a roommate of mine, I placed several orders with SD bullion. I received the first few orders just fine.
However for order ******* and ******* they received the payments then hold my funds in hostage.
Every order with SD Bullion goes through a review process as PM can often be targeted for fraud. We work with the customer to verify their identity for their protection and if that cannot be fully satisfied the order may be cancelled. The orders mentioned were fully refunded for this customer.
I have completed several transactions with this vendor and I plan to continue to buy from them. They have not disappointed. :)

This is my first order with SD Bullion. I placed my substantial order (20 1oz Gold Eagles) on 2/16/2021 and paid them via wire on 2/18/2021. I received a tracking number from Fedex on 2/25/2021 for delivery by 3/2/2021. The order never arrived... I notified them on 3/2 and again on 3/4... They told me of "weather delays" but by 3/10 I questioned whether it even shipped... being a new customer of SDB, I did not have any history with them. I was suspect as I have experience buying metal from other suppliers without incident. On 3/12/2021 SD Bullion told me to fill out a "Statement of Loss" claim form with them that they need to explore the claim with Fedex and their insurance company and per their email... "Please allow 7-10 business days for our team to coordinate with the carrier and allow their internal processes to begin. Attached you will find a Statement of Loss Form"... On 3/18/2021 I was asked to submit a "notarized" "Statement of Loss Affidavit": I had to go to my local notary!. I am not sure what lead to the loss of my shipment and what responsibility SDB bears if any. I feel better about this company now that I have received delivery but I do not appreciate going thru this experience. I received my order this morning(3/24/2021) via Fedex 2nd day air. It was packaged well but over 3 weeks later than expected. Customer service helped me thru process and followed up which I appreciate. I will consider doing business with them again despite this rocky first order.
SD Bullion ships thousands of packages and they are insured. We do have a process to follow when packages get lost and we are happy to help when this difficult situation does occur.
Answer: Company charged me $50 fee because I filed credit card chargeback on the order that didn't arrive. Below is customer service message to me. Since when did company charge consumers $50 fee for filing a chargeback? I filed claim on BBB to resolve the issue. We received a charge back for this 07/09/2019. Since you were unwilling to follow our process for a lost packagewhich would have been much faster than filing a charge back a month lateryour account has been suspended indefinitely and a balance of $50 to cover fees imposed on us because of this unnecessary charge back is due.

Answer: We ship fully insured via USPS, UPS, or FedEx. The default shipping option would be selected by the shipping team in accordance with our insurance policies and efficiency. Most, but not all, of our orders ship with a signature required. However, you can rest assured all of our orders are fully insured. If you want to be guaranteed a signature, we do offer the ability to add it on, it would be $4.95 for the signature plus $14.95 for our expedited shipping. We offer FedEx or USPS.

I apologize for the inconvenience and delay. I see that you had placed this order on September 15th. Card payment takes up to 48 business hours to fully process as all orders have a security verification process to go through. It looks like this was complete by the end of the week.
We do not ship out on weekends, and our shipping queue time is 1-3 business days. We understand that you selected FedEx 2-day shipping, and while this expedites the shipping process, it does not expedite the process for clearing and verifying your payment and order.
It appears that the order did ship out the day you submitted this review, 9/23, and it was delivered two business days later via FedEx.
