I Had Such a Very Horrible Experience With Company, I will never recommend this company to my friends and family.
Somehow, spot prices were different, (their advantage), than any other spot price found online. Was told there would be "no slicks", not true. Have many that have no dates. I have only checked part of a bag. Look at the one in the center of the pic. The ones without any part of a date, will be hard to sell as junk silver. I do not think that DS Bullion would buy them.

The worst customer service I ever experienced.
Rude on the phone, trying to talk over customer. If you are trying to order their Random design rounds you would not get what is pictured, they send you their own SD bullion round, they will not exchange it for any other, rounds pictured are NOT in STOCK.
They will tell you that it is noted in their product description. They have IRA approved note on Random selected rounds, when you look at the pictures, while their SD Round doesn't have this note.
They will not back down to make you happy, all they care is about getting your money and forget about you. They are ruthless and greedy. I had to cancel the coin purchase, which never been shipped to me from the first place and was charged $110 restocking fee.
I was immediately asked for the credit card number, was not even given the option to pay the other way, now after reading some reviews, I figured it out why: because it is the fastest way to get hold of people's money. I was told by Jeremiah that he is doing me a huge favor by cancelling the purchase and charging me $110. I also had to call later and ask to cancel the order on my profile, because money was taken and the order was still there. Receipt for the transaction was not provided, which seems strange to me. Read their Terms and Condition BEFORE placing the order. They will charge you 5 % of the purchase price if you had to cancel. They will tell you this is common in this industry, while what is common is charging difference in price which was locked on the day of purchase and the day you cancelled, if there is a difference. They are making money on excessive or exorbitant charge of cancellation fee. I wish they would tell me how much money they lost from the day I purchased the coin to the day I cancelled it, considering the coin never been sent out and they never run out of those coins and the price of the coin actually went up on the day I cancelled. They will apologise that you feel this way, but will do nothing to correct the situation. Read reviews on gripeo website and stay away from this business, There are plenty other trusted online sellers better than this one, not sure how they keep their high BBB rating

The Design Our Choice rounds would be dependent on what is available in stock. They could be all the same or a variety. This is noted on the product page. These are an option for a very low premium new 1 oz silver round product.
This order was canceled per your request. Cancellation fees are an industry standard and are agreed to once an order is placed. Typically, cancellation fees are $35 or 5% of the order, whichever is higher, plus any applicable market loss. Cancellation policies are consistent with every online bullion dealer. Because we operate in a live market, once an order is submitted it becomes a locked trade. Your products are moved out of our inventory and held for you, and we hedge our price based on the market price at the time you submit your order.
Receipts for this cancellation have been emailed twice and your order currently reflects that this order has been canceled.

Very deceiving practice of charging customers for "market loss" and fees when accidentally placing orders on their confusing and deceptive website.

Our Terms of Use—which are agreed upon when submitting an order—state: “Cancellation fees are calculated as 5% of the order total or $35, whichever is greater, plus any applicable market loss. Market Loss is defined as the difference between the locked spot price of the metals at the time of the order and the spot price of the metals at the time of cancellation.”
Because orders are locked in trades, any change or cancellation incurs a fee. If the market were to drop after placing an order, a subsequent cancellation would result in a loss for SD Bullion. Cancellation fees are assessed to minimize this loss.

I am out over $500 because they couldn't even put the gold coin I ordered in some flimsy cardboard box or something similar - when the order came in the mail, the gold coin must have gotten thrown out, because I had no idea it was there! When you order some cheap jewelry online, they even put it in some other type of packaging besides plastic wrap. How is a person supposed to identify it when it's in a mess of plastic, along with other things that were ordered!?

Having long been a coin collector, I began buying bullion and bullion coins a few years ago and am always looking for reputable dealers. Recently bought 1 kilo bar of silver from SD Bullion. I'm very pleased with their prices. They beat my go-to dealer in this area. My first purchase was made using ACH debit, which is my preferred method of buying bullion. Here is where SD Bullion doesn't do as good a job as my preferred dealer. That process took a least a day or two longer. This isn't something to fret over and should be somewhat expected with this type of payment. I've made another with a credit card for bullion coins and three days later I'm still waiting for them to get back to me with a notification that payment has cleared. This isn't necessarily a show-stopper for me either as my prices are locked in. It is a bit annoying. This company advertised low prices and I can vouch for that claim. I do believe they sacrifice service to keep their prices low. There are a variety of shipping options and I chose the standard shipping option as I have my bullion shipped to a Post Office Box. Strongly suggest they offer signature service! I was surprised to find my 1 kilo bar of silver (valued at well over $800) in my P. O. Box. In defense of this company, I didn't specify signature service and if it was offered at the sale, I didn't see it. They did provide tracking information with their standard shipping. I just would prefer when it comes to that dollar amount for a signature to be required. It always as from my preferred dealer. To summarize, this is a good, reputable company. I'll buy from them in the future, despite a longer hold time than I'd want. I'd also like to see a signature service option at delivery, but I'd still recommend them.
There are many sites online that want your gold and silver business--many of them (particularly those with a huge advertising budget allowing them to buy celebrity endorsements) are very poor choices that pressure you into buying overpriced, over-hyped coins that are no more valuable than generic bullion. That is not the case with SD Bullion. While you may not find the biggest selection at SD Bullion, you will consistently find what you are looking for at far better prices than those high-pressure dealers. Avoid the disappointment and buyers' remorse by going to SD Bullion for your precious metal investments.
My close friend placed her first order with SD Bullion in late January 2022. The order was shipped via FedEx. The package never arrived. Upon investigation, both SD Bullion and FedEx claimed the package was delivered. No it wasn't. As a disabled retiree, my friend is always home. A manager at SD Bullion mentioned that delivery problems are occurring on an increasing basis, yet they don't require a signature upon delivery. So, my friend is made to feel like a thief and jump through "hoops" to get her "merchandise. She was required to file several forms including a notarized affidavit stating she never received the package. A major inconvenience for a disabled person. Mr. Tyler Walls - Is this how you treat new customers? We will never use SD Bullion again. Beware of their attitude. "One and Done" for this sad organization.

Per our Shipping Policy: “If your package is lost or damaged, it will be the responsibility of SD Bullion to file a claim with our insurance company. Once the claim is filed, you agree to fully cooperate with any requirement which may be required as part of the investigation. Failure to fully cooperate will jeopardize the ability for us to replace or refund your lost or damaged package.”
I apologize for the inconvenience of having to fill out forms and such, but our insurance requires them so we can replace missing items. While we work to have orders delivered successfully in the original shipments, when carriers occasionally make mistakes, our insurance requires this process for replacement.

WHY IS IT THAT THEY ADVERTISE AN INDIAN HEAD BAR BUT THEN TURN AROUND AND SEND WHAT THEY WANT AND NOT WHAT THE COSTUMER ORDERED. AFTER THIS HAPPENED I READ THEIR REVIEWS AND I WAS SURPRISED TO SEE THAT THESE PEOPLE ARE STILL IN BUSINESS BUT I REALIZED THAT THEY ARE TOO BIG FOR ANYONE TO DO ANYTHING. Upon reviewing your order, it appears that you purchased a 10 oz Silver Bar - Design Our Choice. Per the product description on this item: “There is no guarantee that a customer will get a specific bar from a specific mint. We simply ship what we have in stock. If a customer wants to select a specific brand or mint 10 oz Silver bar, we likely offer those options in our 10 oz Silver bar category.” There are five different designs pictured on the product page, and these are just examples of types of bars that you may receive. The exact bar included in your order simply depends on what is in inventory when your order is fulfilled.
Again, if you’re looking for a particular design, I recommend purchasing it directly. These bars have lower premium because they are random designed. I assure you, however, that these are genuine silver bars. We test products before they are added to our inventory, and we have never, ever, sent out a fake product.

Nothing to compare against. My first experience with on-line Bullion Dealer was pretty much as expected. Coin delivered in reasonable amount of time for paying by check as I did. Somewhat surprised it was left in mailbox rather delivered to door in person to an adult. Return addressing shows no clear indication of what is inside package which is good. Coin looks great. SD has my business! Most complaints I read about are either bogus or a big misunderstanding. Guess it comes with the territory.
Good customer service and fast shipping, if your looking to buy precious metals they are the best around.
As a first time buyer from South Africa, my experience left me frustrated. They debited my account more than the total locked price. No one even bothers to reply my email. This was my first and last order. Never again!

Regarding your recent credit card order, pricing is visible and locked in before you submit an order. The pricing may have increased during checkout for a couple reasons:
1. International shipping rates are calculated and added at checkout after you've added your shipping address. This pricing is added before an order is submitted.
2. Any card transaction incurs a 4% fee, which is also visible at checkout before submitting your order after you've selected your payment method.
3. Pricing at checkout is locked for five minutes. Outside of this time frame, it updates to the market again and may increase if the market has gone up.

I ordered One 1oz Gold Maple Leaf 2021 coin. When I received, the coin was wrapped around too tight. It put almost a permanent crease in the plasic sleeve. I submitted my comments, they answered but didn't care.

I am 81 years old, this is my first order ever of bullion. SD Bullion made it easy for me to order and although it was a small order, their response to my order was as if it had been their largest order. I recommend SD Bullion.
I have been ordering from SD bullion for a long time, I enjoy silver dollars. I experienced an eye opener today, I tried to cancel an order today because of $9.95 shipping cost. I was told it would be a $35 cost to cancel my order, I am sure that is buried somewhere in their terms that I accepted. So I thought I could modify my order to avoid the shipping cost, I was told that is not possible either.
So bottom line don't bother calling their customer service, because they will not do anything for you. There are better places to order coins from

Answer: Company charged me $50 fee because I filed credit card chargeback on the order that didn't arrive. Below is customer service message to me. Since when did company charge consumers $50 fee for filing a chargeback? I filed claim on BBB to resolve the issue. We received a charge back for this 07/09/2019. Since you were unwilling to follow our process for a lost packagewhich would have been much faster than filing a charge back a month lateryour account has been suspended indefinitely and a balance of $50 to cover fees imposed on us because of this unnecessary charge back is due.
