If you look at the market price it is 0.10 to 0.20 +/- higher than the actual spot price on there site. They inflate the actual prices on the market.
You can check it out for yourself. (SI: CMX) real time.
They tell you they base prices on global markets. 1 market I know. You are NOT fooling anybody that knows. If they lie about that how can you trust them?

The spot price we use for trades is a blended mix containing futures contract prices and global spot rates. With increased market volatility, there will be a slight variance in spot prices between different websites. Regardless, our customers enjoy the lowest prices online.

The shipment was running late, but that wasn't the problem with this company. I told them that I could not get FedEx shipments to the house because no one is home at the time that they deliver. The closest FedEx pickup location for me is in 55 miles away. Guess how they shipped my order? That's right FedEx. And to beat it all, I contacted customer service the day before, discussed with a representative my situation, and they assured me that my package would be mailed United States Postal Service, which the post office is only 3 miles from my house, and I could pick up after work. The following day, I received a FedEx delivery notice via text. I was lied to by SD Bullion. They may be one of the cheaper bullion dealers, but their customer service is lacking on a grand scale. Don't plan on ordering from them ever again. Worst company ever. Don't waste your time or money.

SDBullion offers both expedited and standard shipping services. The standard shipping is free with orders over $199, and the expedited service is a $12.95 charge. This expedited service also allows customers to select between USPS and FedEx, which cannot be done if the other shipping method is selected. If the standard shipping option is selected, orders will ship through either FedEx or USPS. Regardless, all orders will ship fully insured.

THESE GUYS ARE CROOKS, DO NOT EVEN LOOK AT THEIR WEBSITE! Looked into buying gold coins with them, I wanted to see the bottom line price after all the blah blah which required me entering an order online... I put that I would do the transaction with a bank wire, nothing was given to them other than my phone number and email... As suspected, the total came out to be about $50 per coin over what they quoted when I entered the order so I decided to not purchase... A week later I start getting emails and phone calls from them saying if I don't pay the $18,200 and buy the coins, that there would be over $1000 in order cancelation fees. I told them they are being crooked pirates and I would for sure do no business with them, promising to not pay a penny... They then told me I could only pay $200 as a special offer to close the account... I will do everything I can to overturn anything they turn in on my credit, but I will never pay for services not rendered just because they put hidden disclaimers and unscrupulous hidden rules on their order forms..

According to our phone recordings, you called and spoke to a manager on the phone today 07/26/2022 and denied ever placing an order with us. That this order was fraudulent. Upon learning that information, we had our fraud and AML prevention team look into the information from the order, and verified that all the information tied directly to you.
Another manager called you back today 07/26/2022, in order to explain our findings to you, and offer you another chance to either pay for your purchase, or cancel it and pay for the cancellation fees.
Cancellation fees are an industry standard among online bullion dealers. Our cancellation fees are listed in our Terms of Use where we outline our policies when you submit an order with us.
This order was not cancelled until the second call with the second supervisor, after he had spoken to you. The supervisor explained the options we had available for you, however you refused to work with us, and started to scream inappropriate language at the supervisor, the call ended with you screaming profusely and hanging up the phone.
Given the circumstances, we cancelled the order and sent you the invoice that you received for the cancellation fees. We attempted multiple times to convince you to keep your order that you placed with us and fulfill your contract, but with no success.

Cancellation fees are an industry standard. Every online bullion dealer will have some kind of cancellation policy. Because we operate in a live market, once an order is submitted it becomes a locked trade. An order cannot be submitted until the customer clicks the box agreeing to the terms of use. Your products are moved out of our inventory and held for you, and we hedge our price based off the market price at the time you submit your order.
Per our Terms of Use, any cancellations must be filed via telephone during normal business hours. Our customer service team will evaluate any request to cancel an order on a case-by-case basis. While looking at there web site for 1 gram gold bars random selection they show 3 different 1 gram gold bars in certified packages and 1 not in a certified package as if to show you what it would look like I thought, I brought 4 thinking I would get 4 certified random packages but i got 4 bars not in certified packages so I called to no availed, the pictures show 1 bar without certified package and that what they sent I said the pictures are misleading, he said the citified are more but they are all shown together with the same price, MISLEADING. Also the two day shipping I paid extra for is misleading after reading the fine print it is only after the items are shipped which took a total of several days when i got notified of shipping it was 2 days after, should have not paid 12.95 for 2 day shipping. While looking at pictures and thinking that is what you are getting and I didn't, and calling someone who didn't even show any care. I will not but from SD Bullion any more, read the whole section and look carefully There Pictures are misleading. Les

I apologize if there was any confusion. The description for this item does indicate the following in the description found on the product page: "These 1 gram gold bars are various mints and brands, however, they are still guaranteed to have pure gold with a variety of packaging and designs. These generic designs on the bars are minted from a variety of different manufacturers that are located around the world. The designs on the obverse and reverse will be dependent on the producing mint. These bars are not guaranteed to have certified or assay provided."
The random design bars have lower premiums because there is no specification on what will be received, aside from the guarantee that these are pure gold bars.
When selecting a shipping option during checkout, each method has a "once shipped" annotation beside it. Prior to shipping, we must process payment and prepare the order. Once a payment processes, orders ship within 1-3 business days. After this timeframe, expedited shipping would be enacted.

I recently made an order with SD Bullion, and gave them specific guidance on when to ship my order as I was out of town for 2 weeks. They shipped my order immediately despite my request, and my order was returned back to them by FEDX since no one was home to sign for it. To make matters worse, they have now CANCELLED my order, and have charged me a $632 "adjustment" fee. When I called them about this issue, the "manager" refused to acknowledge any fault on their part. What really irked me is that he refused to let me talk with his Supervisor or ask his supervisor to call me back as I requested. I have made at least 5 orders with them over the last 2 years, but that will be my last one.

Prior to the adjustment fee, customers are contacted through phone and email in regard to reshipping the order or receiving a refund. If the order is returned, the total apart from the market loss will be returned. The deduction is necessary because your products are moved out of our inventory and held for you, and we hedge our price based on the market price at the time you submit your order. Because there was no response to our emails and calls in regard to the reshipment, this order was returned and refunded, less the restocking fee.

Package still hasn't arrived a month later. Asked sender to contact UPS and see why package has been held up. The customer service representatives flat refused 3x times. I contacted the UPS International and they hadn't even included contact information which is why package has been stuck in warehouse for over month. They are not willing to ensure packages arrive to receiver with no issue. Avoid this company at all costs.

After spending $5k on silver I was charged a cancellation fee for an order my bank messed up on. Customer service agent Jeremy literally argued with me and tried to talk over and down to me instead of being helpful. Worst customer service ever. I even made a $1300 order after the cancellation and ZERO cancellation fees showed up. They they sent it to collections without trying to help me first or notice me through my account log in. You can't even pay this collection fee online through your account log in. Makes no sense. Jeremy should be fired.

We operate in a live market, and once you submit the order you are agreeing to purchase those metals. We then hold your product and lock in your price in order to guarantee the price stays the same for you. We are removing the inventory from our live inventory, and holding it for your order, as we wait for the payment.

Rather long time period between order payment and shipment, even if you pay extra for 2-day service. Email questions are not always responded to. And for some reason, they charge sales tax on shipping and handling. Even when your state specifically exempts such charges. Not sure why their performance has slipped, but apparently is has.
I was really surprised by that quality of the bullion and how discreet the packaging came my first time experience was easy and a good investment. I'll definitely be back for more. Thanks

Answer: Company charged me $50 fee because I filed credit card chargeback on the order that didn't arrive. Below is customer service message to me. Since when did company charge consumers $50 fee for filing a chargeback? I filed claim on BBB to resolve the issue. We received a charge back for this 07/09/2019. Since you were unwilling to follow our process for a lost packagewhich would have been much faster than filing a charge back a month lateryour account has been suspended indefinitely and a balance of $50 to cover fees imposed on us because of this unnecessary charge back is due.
