SD is great. Easy to buy and pay.
I didn't like that fed ex had me waiting 3 days each day stated arriving today and at 7pm-8pm get notification that is was delayed
Bought silver from them at 30 an Oz. Never showed up. When I called about my order they said I selected to have my metal stored with them. (I didn't) they wouldn't refund or be helpful in any way and said I had two choices. Either I pay the 35 dollar restock fee, or the shipping for it to be shipped to my house. The shipping is cheaper than the fee, so I said sure just ship it to me. Then the person says the metal that was 30 an Oz. Has to be shipped on "current" market value (that is understandable) and I'm done at this point, so I say ok what's the current value? The person says 31 an Oz. I say ok and he makes the charge for shipping and 31 an Oz. Then I hang up. Then I checked the current market price and it was 27 per oz. And called them back and called them out on it. He says I was right and will honor the original pice of 30 an Oz. Not the current market price of 27 an Oz. Even though the first call they said they had to charge me current market price, but now didn't because it was a negative for them. When I asked for the workers name he gave a AL V. Fake $#*! name and wouldn't get me in contact with anyone else. I will not buy from SD bullion ever again and if you can stay away from this company do it. They will lie and "nickel and dime" you, but when it's bad on them they cut the customer off and leave you in the dark. I had to get my bank involved to get my money back, and still haven't yet.
Fast shipping. I had a very good experience. It has always been good to work with SD Bullion.
My order was made 12/29 and received 1/5. Order is just as expected. I would be happy to order from them again.
Fast shipping and easy to do business with. Lowest price on silver I can find.
Getting efficient Pro level service these days is a pipe dream, But, all of my orders from SD Bullion have been done with Pro level performance and tracking. It takes the stress out of ordering and gets the job done in a timely fashion...
The process worked well for ordering, but the confirmation took longer than I thought. It took about 2 weeks to receive our order. Some of the holdup was on my side due, in part, by my forgetting to attach my drivers license. Also they asked for an alternative email, which I don't use much, but that is the one they were continuing to use. Once I figured that out it went smoother.

Excellent service fast arrival, smooth purchase experience, will use SD bullion as precious metals IRA provider.
SD Bullion is the perfect, credible bullion dealer for all my silver stacking needs. I appreciate the transparency and the Bible-based structure of the company.
I spent over $45k on silver leafs and kangaroos. The premiums we're $4.50 per coin.
No less than a few days pass, they drop their premiums to $3.99.
I asked for a credit for the difference since I just bought, they told me I was SOL.
Stupid and dumb to lost business over $.50.
Hello Donny,
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review.
As per out terms of use that are agreed upon when submitting an order, the price becomes a locked-in trade once an order is submitted. This condition allows customers to submit payment without having to be conscious of their order total fluctuating with the market. This means that there is no upcharge if the price of an item rises, but there is also no credit if the price of an item lowers.
If you would like to provide more details about your SD Bullion experience, we'd be happy to help. You can email us at [email protected] or call our bullion team at 1-800-294-8732. We are available from 8 a.m.-8 p.m. est Monday through Thursday and from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. est on Friday.

100% good company good product best prices I found online ill buy from them again. All around good place to do business
So Far So Good. They care about getting it right so I recommend you call them once you register online and make sure all your payment and shipping information is in order then plan your purchase. Good Company. Stands By Their Reputation.
Worst company policy in the bullion market. Go somewhere else they will rip you off. Trust me, you will thank me later.
Hello Dennis,
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review.
Your order was cancelled due to non-payment. Cancellation fees are an industry standard. Because we operate in a live market, once an order is submitted it becomes a locked trade. Your products are moved out of our inventory and held for you, and we hedge our price based off the market price at the time you submit your order. When an order is canceled the bullion dealer takes a loss on those hedged ounces.
We hope this helps explain the policies we and other online bullion dealers have in place.
Thank you for your feedback!

I had made a first time purchase of $12,000 on their website and because I was traveling I couldn't work with their system. It ended up I paid their market loss fee I am a reasonable person and felt that was justified, but dealing with Jeremiah and SD Bullion was a nightmare, rude is understatement, his condescending attitude shows the quality of this company. I would not do business with such a poorly trained staff.
Hello James,
Thank you for your feedback.
It looks like the purchase you made with us was for an order placed on September the 16th. The order was originally submitted as a bank wire, however we never received any payment for your order.
Our staff reached out to you multiple times to provide alternate payment methods available, they even gave an extension for you to still pay for your order. We attempted to work with you, and after waiting for over a month, and exhausting every option available, we had still not received any payment for your order.
Your order was eventually cancelled due to non-payment, and according to our records, a supervisor offered you a one time courtesy discount on the cancellation fees you owed. All bullion dealers have the same type of cancelation policies and fees in place as we all have to hedge every order that is placed. Meaning when an order is locked in we must purchase a hedge of the same oz at that market price. When an order is canceled the bullion dealer takes a loss on those hedged ounces.
SD Bullion handles thousands of transactions on a daily and weekly basis, we are one of the top online bullion dealers in the country and have done over two billion dollars worth of transactions. We have thousands of five star reviews on third party sites such as this one. Any order large or small is welcome here and we work hard to earn our customer's bullion business.
If you have any additional questions or if there's anything else we can assist you with, please do not hesitate to call our bullion team at 1-800-294-8732. We are available from 8 a.m.-8 p.m. EST Monday through Thursday and from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. EST on Friday.
Thank you for supporting us by purchasing your gold, platinum, and silver from SDBullion.com!

I placed two purchases on line two days apart. I mailed checks to reduce the credit card fees. The first order they did actually send. But it took nearly 3 weeks to arrive. The second order never came. A month after I placed the order they sent me a demand for $500 because they claimed they never received the second check. The $500 was service charge - their fee for loss of a sale. They made absolutely no attempt to resolve the problem. The company has fully automated systems. They could easily send out an email after 5 days saying they had not received the check and give the opportunity to pay by credit card over the internet to avoid the service charge. Nope. Too profitable for them to say the check was 'lost in the mail.' More likely it's in a drawer where they put checks when they don't have supply to fill the order. Horribly bad business model in the electronic age. Never using them again.

Prior to cancellations, SD Bullion will reach out to the customer. Prior to cancelling this order, our team reached out on October 7th and October 13th about not having the check. An automated email also was sent, notifying the customer of the possible cancellation if we do not receive payment. Because there was no response, the order was cancelled.

I totally understand that you're behind in your orders. But a $500 dollar minimum order alienates the same People that helped your business grow.I don't have the extra money each month for your minimum order which really sucks because I really like your company.I'll be back when and if you ever decide to drop this ridiculous policy.God Bless
I wish I could give ZERO stars, because they don't even deserve one star. Sadly, I had the misfortune to curiously check the SDBullion.com site because I wanted to see what the final price of what an order would cost. It struck me that they had no credit card option and wanted a "Wire Transfer" for payment - just like other scammers on the internet ask for when they are trying to rip people off. As soon as I left this site, I received an email from them that an order had went through. Within seconds, I emailed them back to let them know that this was an error and to cancel it, I also questioned the fact that they didn't even take credit cards. In addition to emailing them, I tried to call them too - but no one answered the phone so I sent them another email. They admit to receiving my messages and NOT answering the phone, but they still didn't cancel my order until the following day, when I called them again and finally got someone on the phone. I also sent a few more emails the following day as well. Instead of correcting this error right away (like any decent company would after being asked to in writing) they start to harass and threaten me with collections - trying to extort their ridiculous cancellation fee of $1400+ for an order that they could have cancelled within minutes. When I tell them I won't pay this absurd amount for something I never received, they immediately try to get me to send them at least $300+ for their market loss. Saying they if i don't pay it, they are sending me to collection. After I hang up, they email me a cancellation invoice but their invented fee is on there and they have reverted back to demanding $1400! It really seems like they are trying to squeeze what ever amount they can out of people. Be warned, once they have your information, they will try to take advantage of you. Honestly, I can't believe this site is allowed to operate, and that they have the nerve to call themselves a business. They are professional con artists, and internet bullies. Don't even check this site and stay away!
Hello Yvonne,
Thank you for your feedback.
According to our records we did have two missed calls from you on September 12th, it looks like one call you attempted was 11 seconds long, and the second call was already after we were closed for the day.
The email you sent to us shortly after you placed your order with us was to change your payment method from bank wire, to a credit card. You then sent a second email asking us to cancel the order. We responded to your emails the same day and prior to us closing. We asked you to call one of our representatives to help you change the payment method or cancel the order.
Cancelling an order must be done over the phone with a representative, per our terms of use which you agreed to when placing the order. "Any cancellation requests must be filed via telephone during normal business hours. SD Bullion will evaluate any request to cancel an order on a case-by-case basis and only under extraordinary circumstances will a cancellation be approved."
On September 13th, you called and spoke to a representative about your order. We attempted to work with you and get you to keep your order that you made with us. You however refused to pay for your order. You stated you wished to cancel your order because our company was not located in California. Our representative informed you if you choose to cancel the order that you would incur a cancellation fee. We offered you a discount to pay for only the market loss we incurred on your order, but again you refused to work with us.
All bullion dealers have the same type of cancellation policies and fees in place as we all have to hedge every order that is placed. Meaning when an order is locked in we must purchase a hedge of the same oz at that market price. When an order is canceled the bullion dealer takes a loss on those hedged ounces.
You refused to pay for your order that you purchased and refused to work with us to resolve the cancellation fees. If you wish to work with us to resolve this issue you can call us at 1-800-294-8732. We are available from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. EST Monday through Thursday and from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. EST on Friday.
Thank you again for your feedback!

Hello Christopher,
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review.
I am sorry to hear that you did not receive the package, however, please know that every order we ship is fully insured. Our team is currently working on your lost package investigation. For a general timeframe, our insurance requires an investigation to be open for 30 days after the customer initially files a claim. If the package cannot be recovered within that time, a new package will be issued.
We appreciate your patience and understanding throughout this investigation. If you have any additional questions about your investigation, please email us at [email protected] or call our bullion team at 1-800-294-8732. We are available from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. est Monday through Thursday and from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. est on Friday.

Answer: Company charged me $50 fee because I filed credit card chargeback on the order that didn't arrive. Below is customer service message to me. Since when did company charge consumers $50 fee for filing a chargeback? I filed claim on BBB to resolve the issue. We received a charge back for this 07/09/2019. Since you were unwilling to follow our process for a lost packagewhich would have been much faster than filing a charge back a month lateryour account has been suspended indefinitely and a balance of $50 to cover fees imposed on us because of this unnecessary charge back is due.
Answer: We are happy to hear your experience with us has been good! We strive to provide the lowest prices and the best service possible! Please let us know if there is anything we can do to make your experience with us better!
Answer: We ship fully insured via USPS, UPS, or FedEx. The default shipping option would be selected by the shipping team in accordance with our insurance policies and efficiency. Most, but not all, of our orders ship with a signature required. However, you can rest assured all of our orders are fully insured. If you want to be guaranteed a signature, we do offer the ability to add it on, it would be $4.95 for the signature plus $14.95 for our expedited shipping. We offer FedEx or USPS.

Hello Ensign,
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review.
When checking out online, customers have the ability to either ship metals to their address, or have them stored at the depository. Because the original purchase was a locked in trade, we could either cancel this order, continue sending the metals to the depository, or change the shipping address so the items could be delivered to you. With the cancellation option, per our Terms of Use, cancellations are calculated as 5% of the order total or $35, whichever is greater, plus any applicable market loss. Alternatively, we could ship the metals to your address. We offer free shipping and insurance for orders over $199. A standard shipping fee was charged because any order $199.00 or less will incur a flat rate of $9.95, which is necessary to cover shipping and insurance.
I do apologize for the overcharge on your order. When our customer service agent remade the order, the credit card fee was accidently applied twice. We have been attempting to reach you through phone and email to rectify this situation. We can either issue a refund for the overcharge of $3.80, or offer a $5 coupon for this inconvenience. Please let us know which option you would prefer by either emailing us at [email protected] or calling our bullion team at 1-800-294-8732. We are available from 8 a.m.-8 p.m. est Monday through Thursday and from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. est on Friday.
