I've spent several thousand dollars in the past couple of months with this company and they convey they are a good Christan company who "does business the old fashioned way" and they "deliver the highest quality products". These are their words. Their actions however, speak louder than their empty words. I wanted to trust they would ship me (BU) brilliant uncirculated coins and rounds without obvious glaring flaws. Instead, and on more than one instance, I receive flawed coins and rounds, (30) rounds all with the same exact flaw. Then Frank in their customer service tells me if I ship these ones back that they won't guarantee that the exchange ones I'll get will be any better and that they could even be worse. No guarantees! How's that for service the old fashioned way, and the highest quality products? These are their words

They lied about ACH payment after I placed a large order. They then threatened with excessive penalty fees if the order was canceled. Stay far away from this company.

We do not accept ACH transfers as a method of payment, but we do have e-checks! This is a similar transaction where you input your banking account and routing information and we pull directly from there. Orders over $10,000 do not qualify for this payment method, which is why it does not show up as a payment option when customers check out with an order over that amount. Because this order was placed as a bank wire on the website, the order became a locked in trade. Submitting an order through the website or by phone requires the customer to agree to our full terms of use, including SD Bullions order cancellation policy. Cancellation fees are an industry standard. Because we operate in a live market, once an order is submitted it becomes a locked trade. Your products are moved out of our inventory and held for you, and we hedge our price based off the market price at the time you submit your order. Because of this, cancellation fees are calculated as 5% of the order total or $35, whichever is greater, plus any applicable market loss.

Purchased a pre 33 $20 gold eagle and some silver bullion from this outfit. Had purchased several orders before this. The gold eagle I purchased came to me with knife marks on the edge of the obverse. It look like someone tried to carve some lettering of some kind. When I received a folllow up email to rate my purchase I rated a negative and stated why. A couple weeks later they emailed me asking why I gave a bad rating and could I send picture evidence. I did and they emailed back that it's still considered BU and nothing could be done. I won't be ordering again from this outfit.

Brilliant Uncirculated coins can still contain small blemishes or slight imperfections. If you are looking for coins without any blemish or in perfect condition we would suggest looking at graded or proof coins. Looking at the photos you sent us, and the product you received, we would definitely still consider this coin BU. The product is from 1901, so it is not going to have quite the same zeal and luster of a 2023 BU coin.

Answer: Company charged me $50 fee because I filed credit card chargeback on the order that didn't arrive. Below is customer service message to me. Since when did company charge consumers $50 fee for filing a chargeback? I filed claim on BBB to resolve the issue. We received a charge back for this 07/09/2019. Since you were unwilling to follow our process for a lost packagewhich would have been much faster than filing a charge back a month lateryour account has been suspended indefinitely and a balance of $50 to cover fees imposed on us because of this unnecessary charge back is due.

Answer: We ship fully insured via USPS, UPS, or FedEx. The default shipping option would be selected by the shipping team in accordance with our insurance policies and efficiency. Most, but not all, of our orders ship with a signature required. However, you can rest assured all of our orders are fully insured. However, in the interest of transparency and honesty, our representative was accurate by letting you know the exchange coins could have minor imperfections as well. We would like to bring to your attention that we do have graded and proof editions. If you are a collector looking for flawless coins, we would recommend purchasing graded MS70 or proof editions of the bullion coins. Graded and proof coins are inspected by the mint for quality of strike and for any flaws.
