They are crooks. I buy multiple samples and when their pumps are defective they do nothing to remedy the situation. It's a waste of money.
They have no customer phone helpline. If you want to cancel you have to email them. They let you postpone orders by clicking a button but they purposely make cancelling hard.They do not allow refunds or returns. A lot of the perfumes have a surcharge so the amount you spend is not based on a subscription.

Got my first shipment today -- broken and leaking. Excellent first impression. Great concept by they dont seem to have the execution down.

I was very excited to finally subscribe to this monthly service as I don't really get the chance to sample new fragrances as they as soooo expensive but I was ONLY 2 months into my service when I received a small tube of Scentbird brand lotion and although it has a nice fragrance it is NOT something that I wanted let alone thought was worth the $18 plus change that I paid for it...I noticed that this month is a candle? I REALLY just want NEW fragrances and that alone...not interested in ANYTHING Scentbird brand or ANYTHING but fragrance...the 2 scents that I did receive were AMAZING but please just stick to those!

Just recently placed my first order with them which was 50% off,the very next day I checked my checking account and they had 11 pending charges for 8.81,for what!, immediately had a stop payment just for this company,can't get any answers,customer service is crap!

If want to receive 2 or 3 products per month, you'll have to pay the difference of these new plan subscriptions (2 products/monthly comes at $27, whereas 3 products/Monthly costs $37 a month). Some premium items require an upcharge from $5 to $15 to the regular subscription cost. Those items are usually niche fragrances or full-size skincare/make-up products. Kindly note that there are no other hidden costs or renewal fees. We’ll always confirm with you when adding a premium product to your queue so that there’s no confusion! Once you put your credit card, they will force you to take the first order and they'd be no way of going back even you cancel immediately. They send you a scent of their choice (smelled nothing like the quiz I took), they sent me ASH which smells so cheap and it's giving me a headache. I would have never bought it in real life.

They sent a replacement product so they did eventually correct the issue, Their customer service was very slow to respond - maybe they need to hire more people or maybe they are growing too big, too fast. I have loved almost every scent I've received and think the price is fair for what you get. I just wish they would go back to their original atomizer!

I loved Scentbird until they sent me a defective product (bottle doesn't spray at all) and have failed to correct the issue. I paid for a product that I have yet to be able to use, and their customer service department hasn't responded to my support ticket. It has been six days - that's ridiculous to me. I thought for sure they would send a replacement bottle. Now I'm wondering if I'll ever get a response.

I had scentbird for 2 months after the second shipment I emailed the cancel my subscription email to cancel. Got billed the next emailed then again. Still didn't cancel it took me 6-7 times emailing them pretty much begging them to cancel my subscription and got 3 months after the first time asking of perfume that I didn't want before they finally canceled my subscription. I don't understand why they don't have a link to cancel in your account like every other subscription service I have ever got or get!

Never received first perfume and subscription cost close to 200$ a bit ridiculous if you ask me. And I can't get anyone to fix

I was initially excited to try Scentbird to start learning more about perfume and to hopefully find some scents that I liked. Unfortunately, my Scentbird experience started out poorly and only gradually got worse. I personally found the scents to be unremarkable and disappointing, but I admit that it could be a personal thing.
From the get-go, monthly subscription items were shipped inconsistently and were often late. One of my packages also got lost, and it took about 5 days to get the situation resolved and a replacement sent. Apart from the promotional travel cases that may be included, the packaging is extremely poor. It's hard to tell if tubes are locked or unlocked, cartons are flimsy, and at one point, about 35% of one tube leaked all over my desk.
Despite not having any other scents selected and lined up, Scentbird still pushed another scent through the next month. Granted, I was willing to let this one slide because yeah, it is a subscription service and I should have known better. However, the scent did not match my profile for preferred scents and was clearly just something they were promoting/hawking at the time.
The straw that broke the camel's back was when I realised you CANNOT CANCEL YOUR SUBSCRIPTION ON THEIR SITE and you have to EMAIL their support to get it cancelled. I'm absolutely baffled by this, especially since whenever you email, you get an automated message saying that they are "backed up" in emails and will respond in around 3-5 business days. This is completely unethical and a predatory anti-consumer practice that I have NEVER seen on any other subscription service that I have joined. It speaks to the lack of faith that the CEOs have to their own product by making it difficult for people to leave so that they are forced to either go the extra mile to cancel or hopefully will stay subscribed. I absolutely do not recommend this service and emphatically discourage people from trying it out. It's just not worth it.

Kindly note that since Scentbird ships in batches, recurring subscribers can expect their package to leave our fulfillment center 5 business days after billing (please add shipping time from here). In addition, because our fragrances are considered Hazardous Materials, the shipments can take up to ten business days to be delivered in ground shipping. I have notified through emails numerous times about my December perfume not working when I go to apply the fragrance. NO RESPONSE! Do not use this company they are a SCAM!

Scentbird is too expensive and they charge a $10 premium price on all of the good scents. It's a subscription that would be great for people who know their scents because if you pick a scent you've never smelled before you're taking a risk of being stuck for a month with a fragrance you don't like. The cases the perfumes come in are horrible, they're magnetic and I was constantly digging in my purse because the perfume fell out of the case. I switched to fragrance.net's Purplelux club it's cheaper and not as many premium charges on their scents. You can get some popular scents with no premium up charge.

I have had my subscription for a few years now and the price keeps increasing and most of the scents I will choose end up to be an extra $10 so when $28 hits my account I realize that it's not worth it. It was fun choosing scents but I don't always choose one that is fitting for me and end of giving them away. Better to just take a day and get samples at the store and buy one you like. Just my opinion customer service used to be excellent now days it's a little annoying to cancel but other than that it was a good experience

My order has not arrived almost a month after ordering and shows as "awaiting carrier." Meanwhile, customer service does not respond after changing the "expected delivery date" three times. Messages of "we are overwhelmed, so please be patient," are all I get. They are clearly too overwhelmed to run this business properly. I should have looked at the Better Business Bureau's incredibly low rating before buying anything from this company. I definitely do not recommend them. Save your money and buy from somewhere that you will actually receive your purchase and receive customer service if something goes wrong.

I'm really dissatisfied as I thought this was going to be a great way to really test the product. HOWEVER after spraying more than enough, after an hour no one can smell it. I've had some luxury brand cologne before and this is not satisfactory. SCENT BIRD DO BETTER!

My shipment only had one fragrance and I paid for two, I could not get anyone to respond and they don't have an 800 number to call. I cancelled but feels like they basically stole money from me and I could not get them to respond. Just not happy that they have no customer service to talk to and they can basically treat you any way they want and take money out of your account!

I love that I get all the scents out there that I can't ever find and I get new scents every month so I don't get tired of the same scent

I signed up for subscription first fragrance never arrived it's been over 30 days they have no customer service nobody responds to emails and they have no phone number it's literally impossible to get in contact with them then they charge me again for the next month when I didn't even receive the first month I went ahead and cancelled service is terrible

I've been using Scentbird for about 4 months now. A few things. Their selection is excellent. I originally signed up to find a few more scents I could wear and like and I have found 3 of the 4 they sent me so far to be good. However there are a few features I'd like to see that their site/app doesn't include. I wish they would allow you to search by notes (like lemon, or citrus) and also to eliminate scents with specific notes from a search (like musk) allowing me to find a scent I'm interested in more efficiently. I also wish you could filter your search based on type of scent (EDT vs EDC etc.) because sometimes I'm looking for something that lasts 1-2 hours or for longer like 5+ hours and knowing that could help me find what I'm after a bit faster. I would absolutely recommend SB, however I hope they work on improving the search ability of their offerings. Also… bring back the old lipstick style cases, they were classy. The new ones are terrible and awful looking.

Answer: I am frequently asked what perfume I am wearing. It's nice to change things up. My husband has liked all but one of the scents I've received. I LOVE getting a different scents every month. Perfumes smell very different on different people so it's interesting to smell the difference between a perfume on myself versus that same perfume on my daughter but I absolutely love this entire concept and the business is top-notch as it pertains to the customer service and the expedited shipping to ensure that the product arrives when it is supposed to.
