I like many others were promised delivery by a moving deadline and they kept me strung along... a very sophisticated operation to take money all the way up to christmas and then disappear. I feel very stupid and my son will be really upset on christmas day.
All i can say to others is contact the police and trading standards and maybe they can been tracked down. If not, i believe in karma and they will get their comeuppance some day.
Ordered Hatchimals the 21st of Nov told over and over they would be here by the 16th of Dec then got email as I was going to cancel saying would be here by today Friday but nothing my kids will not be happy have to go out and try and get them now
I think I'm a fairly intelligent person so I cannot believe I have been taken in by this company. I ordered a Xmas gift with guaranteed Xmas delivery. There is no sign of it despite the fact that it should have been delivered two weeks ago. No answer to my emails or phone calls! The authorities have to take them to task. It's a total con and we have been massively let down!
I'm the same as everyone else. I ordered this and it was originally due to be delve red by the 16th Dec. I have an email trace guaranteeing it would be delivered today, but unfortunately was not. I now have to go out tomorrow and buy my husband another present! I'm just hoping for a refund! Someone needs to le watchdog know!
Ordered laptop 29/11/16.24/12/16 not yet arrived cant get through to speak to anyone except to leave a message. They send You emails giving dates that come and go. Last one being 23/12/16. Even it arrives tomorrow 24/12/16 I WONT BUY FROM
SAVVIBUY AGAIN. Unreliable not trustworthy and a total disregard for customers. They should try telling my 11yr old daughter Christmas day her presents not come.
Ulster bank in Republic of Ireland were aware of this when I rang... i was on to the fraud department and they are dealing with the scum... apparently if they don't provide proof of delivery they have to refund me of over 400 for the Playstation vr my son will never get!
Everyone get on to your bank urgently!
I ordered a PlayStation VR headset for my son and was given a delivery date of 16th-22nd December and nothing yet. I've now got the mother of all migraines, will have a disappointed son and feel like I've been stolen from. I've sent them an email and told them I'm calling Trading Standards and the police, I urge others to do the same! Would give -100 if I could. THIEVES
Hubby ordered my Xmas present which, unsurprisingly given the other reviews, hasn't arrived. He is distraught.
I hope the national TV news picks this up.
As an adult, I can cope without a present but am saddened for parents with children.
I would never use this company again, ok taking your money and feeding you all the right noises but failed to deliver, total lying scumbags!
Like so many others, promised delivery by 23 rd December, no response to email requesting tracking number. Took my £120 in November. Will be contacting Trading Standards as should all others affected! Would give zero stars if I could!
How convenient is it that you can recieve an email stating that you will recieve your package by December 23rd, right in time for Christmas, BUT NO TRACKING number? I am now sitting at the office "waiting" to see if it shows up as it is the "BIG" gift for my kids, while everyone else is already gone... BAH HUMBUG! What's even better is that they have already charged my card, and you cannot find this item within a 300 mile radius.
Ordered hatchimal in November with a early December delivery date. Follow up e mail blamed couriers being busy due to Black Friday... what a load of bollocks. Received e mail Tuesday saying order was being prepared and would be delivered today (Friday)... didn't arrive, why am I not shocked. I guess the customer service is closed until after Christmas having creamed the money out of all us mugs. I am reporting this SCAM to trading standards as should everyone else and put these scumbags out of business
I purchased an Apple Watch on 30 Nov, it was due for delivery between 13-15 Dec. I had no delivery or tracking number by 16 Dec, Savibuy told me not to worry there was a slight delay due to Black Friday but I would have my order by 21 Dec in time for Christmas. I continued to chase this by email as you can't get through to them by phone, I was only given general statements, nothing personal to do with my order. I was eventually guaranteed my order would be with me on 23rd Dec for Christmas, still no order.
I have had to go elsewhere and pay for a replacement item at greater expense and I have still not had my order or refund as requested. I will now have to try and get my money back through my credit card.
I really awful company and deplorable customer service
I am disappointed and gutted my son will not receive his main Christmas present even though payment was taken and a promised delivery within 5-7 days.
I have emailed savvi, I have had promised delivery dates but all failed and still not received. It's 23rd Dec.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS. THEY CAN'T DELIVER BUT HAPPILY TAKE FULL PAYMENT.
I ordered 2 'Fitbit' wtaches for my brother's boys CHristmas presents on Dec 18th. SavviBuy confirmed by email I'd receive them by Thurs 22nd. They then emailed again on Wed 21st saying they'd be with me Fri 23rd guaranteed. I've stayed in all day but no delivery. Tried to phone them but the system gives two options: 1 says "everything will be delivered on Fri 23rd but as some couriers have let us down that may be Sat 24th" (too late, I'm going away in the morning). Option 2 asks if I want to cancel, and if so I have to email. So basically you can't speak to them. I can't track the item as the 'confirmation of order' has no tracking number and when I messaged them through their website it says they'll get back to me within 48 hours. That's too late. I messaged them through Facebook too (Facebook's stats say they typically reply within 1 hour) but my message isn't even showing as read.
Looks like I'll have to re-buy on the High Street tomorrow - if I can! - and then hope I can get a refund from SavviBuy. Not sure what happens if they then deliver after Christmas... can I then return the items for a refund?
Ordered headphones on 6/12/16 and told delivery will be on 12/12/16, then they said 16th then 23rd so I phoned my credit card and they cancelled payment and I will get my money back, if it does come I will pay myself to send it back, by the look of the reviews I am one of the lucky ones, I just wished I read the reviews before I ordered, robin
Where is my Christmas order as confirmed by yourselfs for the 23rd you toe rags... they will now feel my wroth and regret not getting order out as they advised in Email..
Ordered £430 of goods that were in stock apparently, had Guaranteed delivery between 16 and 22nd December still no sign of delivery at 18:53 on 23rd December, shocking customers services, left loads of messages as no one is available to talk too, no replies! Shocking
Ordered my item in november. Didn't arrive. I contacted them and they said there had been a back log due to black friday. Item didn't arrive for weeks so I asked again. They assured me it was on its way as they'd now secured couriers. Item didn't arrive. I asked for a refund and they then 'assured' me that my delivery date was today and I would have my item. Item didn't arrive.
Called them and got an automated message saying it will arrive tomorrow. WHATEVER!
Im not able to now go out and buy a replacement, they have my money, I have no item... so it looks like hubby won't be getting his present.
I feel totally robbed. I can only send sympathy for anyone else who has lost money to these crooks also.
So upset, what can I tell my son on Christmas morning.
Answer: I have also had the same problem unfortunately this site is a scam I had to report as fraud you need to contact your bank immediately
Answer: They are based in Rochdale. There address was on there website.
Answer: Rid you paid by credit card, phone your bank and ask about Chargeback. We did this on Sacvibuys suggestion and when we called the bank, it knew right away and took us to a line dealing with Savvibuy and its sister company. We were promised return of money within 9 working days.
Answer: Savvibuy suggested contacting our bank and using "chargeback". We used our on line banking, and went into the section showing banking forms. Within this is "chargeback". When we went into this and filled in the form to refund money. We used a debit card. The bank has said it will investigate. We should have used a credit card though. Interestingly, on calling the bank and using a menu, when I chose 'unrecognised company, it gave the example of Savvibuy and Advanced tech. Wonder if this is a hot issue!
