I am using a Samsung S7 edge since last 6 years and it is giving amazing performance. Until now it is not taken to a service centre even once for any reason. Even I have used this phone in the swimming pool snd seas for underwater shooting, I am being exposed continuesly to extreme weather conditions of Qatar as part of my job since I bought. Thanks to Samsung for giving such a wonderful phone. I never thought for an upgrade from this even in this 2021.
I love my Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 to film for my growing YouTube channel. It really is the best phone I've owned in terms of performance and features. But our very high-end 82" Samsung 8 series 4K TV is an awesome machine to watch Netflix, however the remote will lose connection when the TV is first turned on, and I have been noticing the issue for a whole year. Overall great company with quality electronics.
Stay FAR AWAY from samsung for major appliance purchase. I got an appointment for a Month and 1/2 from my call date on a $2000. 00 refrigerator under 1 year old. They cancelled my repair ticket TWICE for no reason! You will get a rep in a foreign country that you can't understand, unless you hang up and keep calling. Took ne 22 calls on each call 8 -19 calls to get a rep in the USA. Stay away from LG also according to their reviews. Hope this helps someone else out there
To make a long story short in this limited text. My Samsung Refrigerator is going bad and has been deemed un-repairable by Samsung Technicians on a video call with the local repairman. This is the 4th unit I have had, the first 3 replaced by Samsung after multiple repairs. I have 3 open tickets (opened by SS), requesting a refund. I have provided all requested documents, have made 15 calls, multiple requests to speak to mgt. I was offered a hugely "prorated" amount (less than $1100. 00) and will not accept that. I paid $3061. 76 plus tax for the unit. I have never received any return communication of any type concerning my requests, hung up on 3 times. This unit is defective, has never worked correctly (ice maker replaced, control board replaced, dryer, compressor and inverter replaced). Originally offered $2719. 20 refund with no receipt. Found and uploaded the original receipt and expect that amount to be refunded.
I like their phones! They are not only stylish but also multifunctional. Actually, I think that all products of this brand are great.
I was a loyal iphone user for years but made the decision to try samsung during my last phone replacement. Never so disappointed in a product and service. Warranty was non existent! Only way to get my phone fixed within the first year was to pay for repair. Phone needed to be sent for service within the first 3 month of owning it, then advised to try a new SIM card as a solution for dropping calls due to no network available. So frustrated
First hour was to get a service authorization number for 65 in TV. After a week and another hour on the phone service request was canceled as no service techs in the Spokane, WA area. Offered to replace with last years model (less than half of what I paid.
Now working on a refund.
Who knows where this will end up. For now out 5K and no TV.
Me and my wife bought a 1900$ fridge, I wasn't here when they delivered, my sister took delivery, I got him and the doors were not level so it caused warm air to enter the fridge causing the fridge to ice up, and condensation on the fridge doors, I had gone back and forth with him for weeks, them telling me they would come out but never did, I had to find a solution and fix myself, I'd give them a zero rating
I have always bought Samsung products in the past. All my phones have been Samsung. My TV's have always been Samsung. By Tablet is Samsung. Never had any issues or cause to contact customer service in the past.
I bought the Galaxy 20 Ultra when it first came out. 2 year warranty. Sweet.
In the beginning of 2021, I started to experience some issues with the phone. Calls dropping out sometimes after a couple of minutes, sometimes lasting for as long as a5-20 minutes before dropping out. I contacted the Samsung customer service number. They told me to contact my service provider. Service provider ran all the checks and found nothing wrong in relation to connectivity. Called Samsung again. They asked me whether I had changed the SIM card - it might be a damaged SIM. Called my provider again - had a new SIM sent. Still the same issues.
Contacted Samsung (again). They said I had to take it in to be analysed. I said OK - so took it into a service centre.
Came back 1 week later - they told me they were unable to find anything wrong and that if the problem persisted, I should take it back and it would be escalated.
Took it home. Same problem persisted.
Returned it back to the Samsung service centre. Almost 2 weeks later, they have sent the phone back to me not able to identify anything wrong with the phone.
Their advice? I need to video myself talking on the phone to record when this issue happens so Samsung can diagnose the problem... huh? How will this diagnose the problem? Am I missing something? I offered to send them the itemised record of my calls to demonstrate how long the calls lasted and in many cases how many times I had called the numbers back. But no. They want a video of my talking! WTF!
The girl I spoke to - she wouldn't give me her last name - apparently they only go by first names (Anna - I dont think it was her real name...) was like a robot. Just kept repeating the same thing over and over again. No empathy. No understanding of the issues. No actual response to my question of "what purpose would a video serve"?
Once this is over, I will NEVER purchase another Samsung phone.

Samsung has refunded our ice maker repair costs of $260.40. I am giving them five stars because they quickly responded and gave us the credit. Thank you.

My Samsung Ice Maker was making a knocking noise and was leaking water inside the refrigerator. It was not under warranty. I called for repair and the authorized dealer told me they were too busy and I should request service through Samsung even though the ice maker was not under warranty. So I did just that. I went online and ordered service through Samsung. I was told the charge would be $260.40. I authorized the charge and scheduled an appointment. When the service tech comes to my home he said the service call should be free. He had to replace some parts which were defective. He said Samsung called it FOC. I contacted Samsung on 6/21/2021 and the person I talked with agreed. However, I was charged on my card. I contacted Samsung again and they said they would have to investigate. They would get back with me. That didn't happen. I called today, 7/2/2021. I was told the charge of $260.40 was not going to be reversed.
Ordered a $2000 fridge and Samsung just delivered but DID NOT install in the 2nd floor and just left the fridge on the 1st floor where we can't use it. I've requested a 4-man install from Samsung multiple times but those multiple times they kept saying I needed to wait 24-48 hours for the upper "managers" to set it up and call me back. Why does it take 2 days each time for a manager to contact us? They offer no help at all at the basic level and even at the manager level there is no response. My fridge has been sitting on the 1st floor for a week due to the non-existent Samsung support. Will never buy from Samsung Store again. Will just buy from Best Buy where they actually have customer service.
Ice maker stopped working after two years on two Samsungs, cost to repair/replace about $600.
Also, the construction of the shelves is shoddy and the plastic cracks, replaced two, about $100
Made a wise decision, put the Samsung in the garage as a backup and bought an LG
I find their products very good and reliable. I have their washing machine, cell phone, and a TV/ All these items work perfectly. Will keep using this brand.
About 3 weeks ago my Samsung Galaxy A51 started to have 3 problems all related to sound. Unable to hear callers unless speaker phone is activated, no sound for streaming videos, and no google voice. I have been bounced around like a ping pong ball between Spectrum Mobile, Samsung Customer Service, Samsung Tech Support and the repair shop I was sent to by Samsung Tech Support. It is now 3 weeks later and the problem is unresolved. The phone is under warranty and is only 3 months old. They are doing everything possible to avoid replacing or repairing the phone. Do not buy anything from Samsung. They do not stand behind their products! I left Spectrum Mobile (no help at all!), went back to Verizon and am using my old MOTO Z phone. Otherwise I would still be without a phone. Samsung still has not repaired my phone and doesn't seem to care. Again, based on my own personal experience I highly recommend DO NOT BUY ANY SAMSUNG PRODUCTS! Do your research. 1.8 stars? That's terrible! I have paid for this phone with my own hard earned money and once again been ripped of by a big irresponsible unscrupulous corporation.
I bought an A01 phone at cricket 4 months ago. Two days ago, an "update" rendered it unusable. Absolutely ridiculous. The phone has 16 gigs of memory. After deleting ALL apps, pics, cache, trash bin, it STILL said it didn't have enough memory for the update that keeps popping up and draining battery trying to complete. Samsung support said "go to a store location, but those low memory phones are having problems with it". 16 gigs is not low. An update requiring more than 16 gigs is unbelievable. I bought the new motorola for $150, then trashed my A01. Will never touch a samsung product again.
I hate that I have been forced to click on one star. Perhaps by saying "Don't EVER buy a Samsung Fridge" you can read between the lines. This company needs to stick to making TV's and entertainment systems. My Mum spent hard earned money on a french door Samsung fridge that has had nothing but issues with the lines freezing then thawing out and leaking everywhere and spoiling food. She has done nothing but turn upside down for them to come by and replace a part that well sort everything out. Yeah right, THREE times and still having the problem. Now she is retired and just spent $2000 on another brand new fridge. Samsung, leave appliances along unless you know what you are doing.
I PURCHASED A SAMSUNG FRENCH DOOR REFRIGERATOR IN MID 2020. THE COMPRESSOR FAILED IN MAY 2021. IT TOOK A WEEK TO GET A SERVICE TO COME BUT THEY LEFT BEFORE I ARRIVE DIN THEIR 10 MIN WINDOW. 2 WEEKS LATER I GET A NEW COMPRESSOR. COMPRESSOR FAILURE AFTER 8 MONTHS? NEVER, EVER BUY A SAMSUNG! WORST SERVICE EVER AND OBVIOUSLY THE REFRIGERATORS ARE NO GOOD. I WOULD HAVE GIVEN THEM NO STARS BUT THATS NOT AN OPTION

Answer: I chose Samsung directly so that my phone was unlocked from cellphone carriers. Also, TD bank offers generous credit limits, and Samsung offers several payment options. Samsung offers service trial subscriptions with its phones... Spotify, Sirius XM, Light room, Cloud Storage, YouTube TV, etc.
