Samsung Service Sucks [Part 2]
March 31, 2022

Samsung Repair Service

I purchased this A32 phone from T-Mobile last August. Last week it said that my memory was getting full (even though I only had a few photos & downloads). I took it to a T-Mobile repair center. They said the best solution was to do a factory reset. Because the "Other" memory was full and couldn't be deleted.
I went home a did a factory reset. After doing the reset I got a message saying that my phone was maintained by Knox and that it belongs to Summa Healthcare.
I never heard of Knox OR Summa Healthcare. THAT is why I contacted the T-Mobile headquarters. T-Mobile said to take it to UBreakItIfixIt to have the Summa/Knox programming removed.
I took my phone and the original receipt and drove to 4 UBreakItIFixIt locations. I drove 160 miles total. Every location sent me to ANOTHER location. None of them could remove the Summa/Knox programming.
Frustrated, I called the T-Mobile headquarters again. They connected me to Samsung. The person at Samsung said that they would repair or replace the phone because of the Summa Healthcare/Knox programming.
(I assumed that I received a refurbished circuit board in my "new " phone and by doing the factory reset, it triggered the prior program.)
(My handwritten note to Samsung (included with the phone)) Please replace the phone with one that has not been refurbished and still contains prior programming.

Wednesday, 03/09/2022:
I called Samsung and told the rep what happened. She said she understood and provided a UPS label for me to send my phone for repair. I sent my phone to Samsung for the first time.

Tuesday, 03/15/2022: I received my UNREPAIRED phone back from Samsung
I called Samsung and was told that I needed to provide proof of purchase. I emailed a copy of my phone purchase receipt to *******@sea.samsung.com. Jesus, the Samsung rep, said everything would be taken care of and not to worry. He provided a UPS return shipping label for me to send the phone back a second time.

Dear DENNIS YOUNG,
Please be advised that your Samsung SM-A326UZKNSPR was not repaired. The unrepaired unit will be returned to you and the expected ship date is 03/19/2022.
(No reason was provided)

I then called Samsung and asked to speak to someone in authority. I was transferred to a man in "Case Management". I explained my situation to him again and was told that I needed to provide proof of purchase again. I emailed a copy of my purchase receipt to *******@sea.samsung.com for the second time.

I then called a man at Samsung-Knox. He said he understood what happened and tried to pull up my phone's information in his system. He said there was no record for my phone. He suggested that I ask for a new phone since he doubted that the Knox programming could be removed because it was embedded into the software.

I called Samsung customer service back and told them what the fellow from Samsung-Knox told me. The service rep provided me with a UPS return label to send the phone back for the third time.

The phone's operating system was still maintained by Samsung-Knox. Nothing was done to fix it.
I called and spoke to Jesus in Case Management. He said he understood the problem and provided a UPS label so that I could sent the phone back for the fourth time.
I called Samsung and asked to speak to someone in authority. I was transferred to Juan who said they don't deal with Case Management (whatever THAT meant). He transferred me to "Awarilyn" (SP?) who said they needed the Knox code. I explained that I don't know ANYTHING about a Knox Code because this is my private personal phone and it is not maintained by Samsung-Knox!

I called Samsung and asked to speak to someone in authority. I was transferred to Raymond. He said that the repair department needed proof of purchase. He sent me an email and asked me to send it to HIM. By the tone of his voice, I assumed that he was someone who can get things done. (We'll see…)
I sent the copy of my receipt for the 6th time.
He said the proof of purchase was acceptable (Imagine my surprise!) and that he will get back to me in 24 to 48 hours…

Friday, 04/01/2022, 7:00 AM Email from Samsung:
Hola Dennis,

Thank you for letting our Samsung pro help you with your recent service needs for your CELLULAR PHONE.

At Samsung, we take great pride in taking care of our customers and are committed to helping you get the most out of your products.

Your opinion matters to us. Could you take a few minutes to share your feedback on your service experience on March 25,2022? You can start the survey by answering the following question.
Based on the service experience, what are the chances that you recommend Samsung to a friend or family member?
There were a row of boxes (a long rectangular box divided into 10 individual boxes) below the above question that let you choose from not likely at all to very likely 1 to 10).
In 8 more days, I will have been without a cell phone for one month – all because no one at Samsung can authorize a replacement of my (obviously USED) phone…

Friday, 04/01/2022 2:07 PM Email from Samsung:
Good afternoon Dennis,

Thank you for contacting Samsung Electronics, Extra Care. I attempted to contact you by phone, but you were unavailable.
Please get back to me once you are available so that I can further assist you.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Respectfully,
Gloria A.| Extra Care
Samsung Electronics America, Inc.
(Unfortunately, I was away from home and didn't read my emails or get Gloria's message on my home phone answering machine until this morning-Sunday - I'll call her back Monday morning)
I'm hoping that Gloria sits on a rung that's higher than Raymond's
When I call Gloria back tomorrow, I pray that she doesn't ask for "proof of purchase" or my "Knox" code…

Monday, April 4,2022, 07:52 AM: I called Gloria at Samsung (Office of the President):
Gloria said that she called me in response to my complaint to the Better Business Bureau (which I filed last Wednesday 03/31/2022).
Gloria said the repair center's delay in repairing my phone was because they needed my proof of purchase which contained my IMEI number – however, the proof of purchase that I sent on Thursday, 03/31/2022, contained the necessary information and met the requirements.
(Note: That was the SAME proof of purchase that I sent 5 previous times! Obviously, someone there has developed an uncanny grasp of the obvious…)
She said that someone from the service department will be in touch with me in the next day or two.
To Be Continued…

Tip for consumers:

If you buy a Samsung phone, get a statement from the store manager attesting to the fact that you're not getting a phone that's been cobbled together from a used phone.

Short Lifespan | Zero Service
May 10, 2021

Hello, I purchased a 27 CF 4-DOOR FLEX SHOWCASE FD Model: RF28K9380SR from BestBuy on 9/5/2016.

We rather enjoyed this refrigerator and its features/functions. Unfortunately, it stopped cooling altogether about 2 months ago now. The dedicated bottom left freezer and bottom right flex zone, which we had set to cool at 34 degrees, was 68 degrees Fahrenheit. The top both sides dedicated cooling were running 55 degrees instead of the 34 it was set to.

I started by calling Samsung. Spent about 1.5 hours in a 20th-century type of experience i. E. was transferred several times incorrectly, highly fragmented departments with no one really able to assist. I finally got to someone who said they could help. They said they would find a repair company to fix it since it is a sealed system issue and under warranty. He set me up with a service company who called me 3 days later after confirming it sounded like a sealed system issue.

This repair company called me 3 days later (no calling on the weekend) and asked me the details about the issue. After speaking for 30 minutes and being on hold was told that they don't do sealed system issues for Samsung and I had to call them back.

Called Samsung back and received an empty apology followed by some attempt to be helpful. I say attempt as he said he was going to find me a repair company but after him attempting (had me on hold for him to do this function for about 3 minutes only). He came back and acted like he had been calling dozens of people for hours and became very pushy and said this isn't going to work as no one is answering and I'm just on hold forever. Really? I thought as I had already sunk hours into this process. I said politely, I was only on hold for 3 minutes so you called one of the many many companies you previously said we could pick/call to help? He said well I can call someone else I guess... He sounded horrified that I asked him to spend more than 5 minutes to help find a repair company. He came back about 3 minutes later then said, okay, this is how we are going to proceed. I'll have the back office continue this search for someone to fix your refrigerator and they will contact you in 24-48 hours. He left me no choice at this point as he said he would be disconnecting and already messaged the back office.

I got a call 2 days later from the back office and missed the call. They left a VM with a number for me to call back, which was not a direct number. I was then transferred numerous times despite them asking for and me giving them my ticket number. They then asked me the same questions again, when did I buy this, where did I buy this, etc. This was all gathered and attached to the ticket from my original call. The back office person finally got to the part where they are supposed to help; however, she said that despite all their efforts, they were unable to find any repair company to fix a sealed system issue so I would have to find someone to fix it and follow a detailed process if I wanted to be reimbursed after finding someone to repair then paying for the repair myself. I gave them a hard time as now we have gone another 2 days without a refrigerator and was under the impression from the other guy that they had so many repair companies options in this city of 350k+ people I live in/near. They ended with if you want to get reimbursed, you need to find a repair person that is Samsung Certified. I was confused, I said wouldn't you have that list and wouldn't you have used that list yourself to find someone to fix my refrigerator already, you know the past 48 hours you supposedly spent trying to do such? I then asked if you couldn't find one from your list, how am I expected to do such in order as a condition to be reimbursed?

She said yes but I should be able to find someone despite this... and that yes it is a requirement for reimbursement...

I then spent hours calling trying to find someone to fix this sealed system issue. I could only find one company who said it would be 2 weeks to get someone out to our home to fix it but said the person would have all the parts, etc to fix. They of course showed up not prepared to do such but that is not Samsung's fault.

Another week after this, I received a VM from Samsung saying they want to again help me fix my refrigerator and that they spoke with the repair company and to call them, again not at a direct number. I called them back and gave them my ticket# and they transferred me incorrectly twice before getting me to the correct place. I then spent 2 hours on the phone with them and they asked for all sorts of new information (detailed bill of sale with company logo on it among other things). After all of this they offered me some lowball prorated refund in an effort to get out of paying for the expensive repair of their product. What is worse is that they lied to me on the VM saying they wanted to help fix my refrigerator and said they had spoken to the repair company, all lies. They only wanted to tie me up for another 2 hours to try and say they are doing me a favor by offering me LESS money than I was quoted it would cost to repair.

Yes, that is correct, big ol' Samsung mines their data, calls with lies of help and apologies, only in an effort to try and get out of a warranty agreement by offering a lowball prorated refund amount to save them from a much higher repair bill.

I spent 15K on Samsung appliances and now just waiting for the shoe to drop on my chef's collection stove, dishwasher, etc.

I have been loyal to Samsung on TVs, soundbars, appliances, you name it and now I will never use them again for anything and will just throw away any Samsung item I currently have that breaks as it isn't worth it.

I highly recommend people find a more honest and reputable company to deal with and take this review to heart. If you want reliability, Samsung is not it. If you want someone who stands behind their product, look elsewhere. If you expect a company to treat you well, Samsung isn't capable of such.

Don't buy Samsung
December 27, 2020

Most businesses would agree that customer service plays a key role in a company's growth and development. However, how the organization chooses to approach their customer service can significantly vary for each industry. There's no one-size-fits-all blueprint for delivering excellent customer service and sometimes brands fall short when trying to improve their customer's experience.
Some customer service blunders are easy to understand, others leave customers shaking their heads like i did and wondering what the company was thinking in the first place.
While these interactions are often worth a few good laughs, these extreme cases of bad customer service occur much more often than one may think.
No company is perfect, and every business is going to make occasional mistakes when working with unhappy customers. It's no easy task to diffuse someone who's highly frustrated, leaving customer service reps very little room for error when dealing with an angry customer like I was. Even the most successful brands can be susceptible to having a bad customer service moment if they aren't focused on the customer's success.
I have purchased what they called the best phone on the market S 20 + Samsung for 1299eur
On the 19/10/2020 was very excited at the beginning, tell some technical problems start to aper from the 1st days lake low sound apps appearing then disappearing I immediately when to the Samsung service center, at the beginning the technician start to explain that I am not use to Samsung technologies from the beginning they even didn't give the time to explain the problems and that for the last 5 years me and my family we have been using Samsung.
Then 3 weeks later I went back to Samsung service center after having checked the issue with the store I have purchased it from and he sad that the phone look faulty due to some other issue he couldn't explained same for my communication /internet provider he couldn't understand and ask to return to Samsung center to exchange it, as it look faulty.
The 17 December 2020 at 10:00 I went for the 3th time to the Samsung service center I was the 1st customer at the door due to the fact that I have tried to fixe appointment for 2 days unfortunately they needed IMEI number it as ixplaine on the websit that you need to follow the steps
• Go to settings Allez dans Paramètres
• Go to about phone Allez dans À propos du téléphone
• Here you find the IMEI num of your phon Vous trouverez ici le numéro IMEI de votre téléphone.
The problem is that since few days the phone is totally frozen you can not access to any options.
The hostess how came strolling to open the door at 10:00 Ms Nataliya refused to understand that I couldn't fixe the appointment due to the missing IMEI and that she found it not normal that I didn't know that the IMEI was on the packaging box like it normal to every customer to keep the packaging and must know this information.
On the other hand due to the pandemic situation you mut take appointment how could I when my phone is out of service? She couldn't understand or know how to diffuse someone who's highly frustrated for not having his phone working for few days, even if I offered her to wait tell there is free moment or someone didn't showed to the appointment.
She clearly take it personal to say no to any suggestions I made ending taking appointment few days further
Companies who want to prevent these instances from affecting their business will need to know what bad customer service looks like and how they can overcome it. Take a look at some of the most common bad customer service examples as well as the recommended steps for avoiding them.
As companies grow, they often need to add more internal structure that helps manage and regulate the business. This often comes in the form of corporate policies or rules that are put in place to ensure a consistent customer experience. However, sometimes the rules that are designed to benefit the business can act as roadblocks to the customer's success.
What's frustrating about this case is that the customer presented a clear opportunity for the business to provide above-and-beyond-customer service. Instead, her decision led to not only an unsatisfied customer but also other friend and family how used this service. Customers trust a company that's dedicated to fulfilling their needs, and sometimes bending the rules is a great way to build customer loyalty.
How can billion dolar corp that have only one customer support shop for a business that operates 24/7
Nobody wants to be put on hold or off by workers how doesn't understand the customer need
Furthermore I tried to reach out through what s up the customer service how they spend they time asking me to take appointment with IMEI num and ignoring the situation I tried to explained
Find below the text message attached
Let see what will happened the 23/12/2020
Don't buy Samsung. So disappointed, words cannot express this feeling
It will be the 6 times 28/12/2020 that I am going back to Samsung service center of brussels still the issue remain not solve, despite the difficulties to fixe appointment on ligne, so I have been going ackword forword to the center located, 1 boulevard lambermont 1000 Brusssels (dont go there they are not helpful when is related to technical issue)
The last visit to this center was the 23/12/2020 when this phone S20+, was frozen the technician did restart the program explaining that the issue was some app's that they cause the frozen phone so he did delete all the contain of this phon S 20 +.
Fortunately I had a back up on the old one Samsung. His explanation was very evasive not clear at all, specially that I didn't had any specific app's added as it's new phone and didnt had a time except my banking app's, to be honest he was moor in the rush to get me out of the store, me and my questions that he could not answer?
I have tried to send a letter to the CEO of Samsung in Belgium if it the right name but no news so far.
Kim, Ki Nam, Kim, Hyun Suk, Koh, Dong Jin
Tomorrow i will see what will be this time the explanation of the technician to the issue and the way they will washed their hand of, and if they will take the responsibility to exchange this faulty phone!?

Samsung does not honor warranties
January 24, 2020

We purchased a new Samsung 65" TV Model # UN65MU650DFXZA from Costco on 11-11-2017 and have had nothing but issues with it since. I've called Samsung customer service and used the chat service to try and rectify the numerous issues we were having since then. I've made this attempt about 10 times since purchased, because they refuse to fix anything and just place blame on everything but the television. I have 5 open case #'s with them about these issues that have never been resolved.
The TV black screens for up to a minute while using ps4 pro with a premium HDMI cable that Anna (Samsung Rep) told me I must purchase to fix the issue... it did not. They've remote reset it to factory a couple times, had me reset it, change settings etc., but nothing fixes it. The tv must be unplugged numerous times a day now, because it never truly shuts down and starts slowing down or it just freezes up. The black screen is happening randomly and quite often now. They force apps on the tv that take over the programming. Their TV+ app will be mysteriously running when we turn it on, but when we shut it off, we were playing on the gaming console? Even the HDMI software switches between ports by itself?
The last Samsung Rep (Marvin) I spoke with 11-9-2019 confirmed it has issues (no kidding), but then tells me he's sorry to inform me that at my expense they can send a service tech to look at it? I told them that's completely unfair, as I've notified them many times over the years of these issues that they have refused to acknowledge as television hardware issues, until recently.
They force me to file a Better Business Bureau Report on 12/19/2019. An Office of the President rep communicates with me from now on.
Mr. Gaffney tells me that they will send a technician crew to fix the television with new factory parts. The service company is Dish, whom spams me with robot calls and voicemails while I'm at work. I tried to call the robot back and it just kept asking for information and then wouldn't do anything. I relay this to Mr. Gaffney and he ignores this issue like all of them and says to me, "So you're refusing service then?" What? He just wanted me to refuse service, so he could tell the BBB, they tried to work with me and I refused. I tell him not at all, send the crew, but not if I can't talk to a real person. An actual Dish person contacts me and they show up on Saturday morning 1/04/2020. They proceed to take apart the TV, replace defective parts with new parts (main board, cables and some other components). After 3 hours they can't get the TV to work properly, so they take it apart again and replace the new parts with my old parts? They say they can't fix it and to get paid for their labor, they had to put the old parts back? They ask where I purchased the TV and I tell them Costco. They recommend I try to return it there, because Samsung isn't going to do anything for us and it's not uncommon for them to get defective brand new parts.
They have me sign a contract that I can't see, as the signature panel (window) is on top of the contract area. I ask about what I am signing and they say it's what we did to the TV and they'll send me a copy in email in a couple hours. They also said Samsung will be contacting me soon. I do get the contract, but it's completely blank! I actually signed a blank contract unwittingly that they could have written anything on!? Unbelievable really.
I wait a week and have heard nothing from Samsung or Dish, so I send an email to Mr. Gaffney about what happened. He doesn't respond to me, but Samsung told the BBB their service techs were fixing our TV and the issues are resolved? I responded to the BBB about what actually happened, but Mr. Gaffney and Samsung Office of the President reps just keep ignoring communication from anyone regarding this matter.
I even called Costco management where we bought it. They were completely understanding and reached out to Samsung as well. They sent emails over 2 weeks ago and recently told me they have heard nothing. So they treat their own vendors, just like they treat their customers. At least they are consistent with horrible service.
Mr. Gaffney left me a voicemail on 1/22/2020. This is the first I've heard from him or Samsung since they sent the repair crew 19 days ago. He tells me the repair crew installed a brand new defective main board. He then says Samsung has given me a one time repair and can no longer help me with this television any further? What!? They haven't helped us, since we had problems a couple weeks after purchase in 2017!
How they can blame their inferior products (Mr. Gaffney admitted the new main board was junk) on their customers other components, cables, internet or anything but their own product is beyond me. They completely wasted our Saturday morning and tore apart our television twice for no reason, ignore my emails and phone calls for 19 days to only say "Hey, we tried, but we know our products are junk, so there's nothing further we can do for you!"

Tip for consumers:

Samsung skirts customer issues until the warranty expires, so the customer can pay for repairs of inferior products.

Samsung Does Not Stan's Behind Their Products
September 14, 2018

SHARE, SHARE, SHARE, EVERYWHERE SAMSUNG TVs SUCK and so does their CUSTOMER SERVICE! Share this everywhere! My experience with Samsung. It started in 2001. I had graduated college, got a "real" job and saved my hard earned money for my very 1st big screen TV. Back then I bought a 56" Samsung DLP for close to $3k and it broke within 3-yrs. Come to find out the TV broke because of a manufacturer defect and they lost a Class Action Lawsuit because of it. One of the terms of the lawsuit was for the customer to self-report their broken TV within a certain timeframe to them and they would fix for free. Well, I never received a letter or anything from Samsung about this and when I self-reported my problem, they said that I was 1 month too late for self-reporting and that there was nothing else they could do for me... So from that point forward, I swore off Samsung and told myself that I would never ever purchase anything Samsung. So I ended up replacing that 56" Samsung DLP in 2004 with a 55" Sony LCD, of which is still going strong without one issue. In 2008, we moved into our new home and that TV was our main TV in the great room. Fast forward to January 2016. I wanted a new bigger TV for the great room and moved the Sony TV to the bedroom. This was when the new 4K SUHD Curved TVs started to become popular. So I went down to Hhgregg to buy a new bigger TV, with the latest technology. I looked at all the TVs at Hhgregg and the Samsung TV had the best picture by far. I told the salesman of my feelings about Samsung and what happened to my 1st big screen TV and that I would NEVER buy another Samsung anything! Well the salesman went on and on that Samsung's were the best TVs available. So lo-n-behold, I ended up shelling out $5k for the latest and greatest 65" Samsung 4K SUHD Curved TV, purchased on 1/12/2016. Since I bought one of their top-tier TVs, I was part of a fancy customer support program, which eased my thoughts about buying another Samsung. I was happier than a pig in you know what, until April 2016, just 3-months after purchasing the new very expensive TV, when it broke and the screen went black. To say I was angry was an understatement! So, I called up Samsung and they contracted a local company to come out and fix my "new" TV. So I had to take a day off work to meet their contracted repair company at my house which supposedly had the correct part from Samsung to fix my TV. Well, they didn't get the correct part from Samsung that day and I had to take another day off of work to meet them again; this time with the correct part. They installed it and the TV was up and running again. I called Samsung, retold them the issue I had with my original Samsung DLP, told them how frustrated I was with this new very expensive TV that I just bought and it crapped out in less than 3-months, and asked about this fancy Samsung customer service program that I was apart of. So after them hearing about all my troubles, they extended the manufacturer warranty another full year. Fast-forward to September 4,2018. I was watching the TV on Tuesday morning and after 15-minutes of watching the TV screen went BLACK! I immediately became furious but then remembered that my warranty was extended and that I was part of their fancy customer support program. So I called up Samsung to tell them my issue. The Samsung Rep asked if I had the warranty number for my extended warranty that they provided me. Being through the hurricane last year, I was lucky enough to find the original work order paperwork which had all my notes and the note about the extended warranty that was given to me, however I didn't have the warranty number to provide the rep. I told the rep that they should have all the info in their system as they had all the other info in their about me. The rep went on to tell me that Samsung dissolved their fancy customer support program and all the records from that organization/program; hence the reason they couldn't locate my warranty number. I spent 3.5hrs on the phone with different Samsung reps and escalated my issue only to be told by Samsung that they wouldn't DO A THING FOR ME TO HELP ME OUT! They wouldn't fix it on their dime, with me knowing it's still under warranty but they couldn't verify it and they wouldn't even offer to split the cost of the repair. They wouldn't step up to ANYTHING- - Zip, Zilch, Nada! So $5k for a top of the line Samsung TV which broke in less than 3-months of owning and breaking again 2-yrs later! Spending $5k on a TV to have it last for only 2yrs is LUDICROUS! Also, this couldn't of come at a worse time, as Weston's 11th Bday was on 9/10 and he's planning on a big Bday sleepover and all the kids love the giant TV to play their Xbox games on and watch movies on. So I have to wait till I get the TV fixed before he wants his sleepover... I'm going to have to take more time off of work to drag that big ole TV to the repair shop to get fixed. For all thinking about purchasing a Samsung TV, I would highly recommend you look at a different brand. I would recommend Panasonic or Sony, but if you do get a Samsung you better spend the big bucks and get the longest WARRANTY they offer, or you can use your Samsung TV as target practice or a boat anchor.

Spinning battery and profitable lcds. (Samsung 3rd floor megamall philippines)
May 28, 2017

I had my note2 for almost 4-5 years now and a week a go i faced this death sentence kind of thing, my phone doesnt boot up anymore. Ive tried doing things like reboot, factory reset, hold this for a number of seconds then remove this and that then turn on again... before it worked for me but now it doesnt so i decided to go to samsung which would be here in magamall (philippines).

Just to share with everybody, you couldve ended up with a samsung product online but definitely youll face these kind of things in the future like tech issues and stuffs so at least you dont need to go through on what ive experienced. Just go somewhere else maybe itll better.

So going back, i went to samsung in megamall, philippines, got a number for customer service from a touch screen vendo machine then waited for my turn.

So initially i told the cust service rep that my phone doesnt boot up and would like to speak to a technician to check whats going on, i mentioned what i did.

Then the rep said that theyll check if its grounded or if its a battery issue ( remember this part) then i replied that it wont be a battery issue since i just bought this on their store like 6-7 mos ago, not even bloated, then the rep went to their back door and said she'll be back right away.

After perhaps 2-3 mins she came back saying that its a battery issue and said that they couldve tried it but they dont have a battery for note 1 to test it. I said that my phone is note 2 and not note 1 the version name is even listed at the back as gt-n700 then the rep checked her pc, she even said that most of the time the battery of it will spin then she tried to do it in front of me but the battery didnt spin and i even mentioned again that it wont be the battery since i just bought it few mos ago, the rep wasnt able to say anything.

So i showed her what else happened on my phone... that most of the time it doesnt load after the logo screen then just in case itll go through itll have a strip of red dust on my screen then poof dead end.

Then the rep said it could be about the lcd because of the dust like red strip there that shows after the logo then i said if its the lcd then upon loading the logo the red dust like stripe should show up as well but it didnt clearly it isnt about the lcd, there could be like an issue about the gpu, firmware etc its just that im not sure since im not a technician, then the rep went back again to the tech to ask, this time i was hoping that something will be done, after 1-3 mins the rep came back and said its about the lcd as what was mentioned by the technician.

This ticked me. My phone's screen is crystal clear, no bumps or whatsoever, my 1st guess was about the phone's gpu since i do play games for an hour or two and maybe i toasted them or it could be the firmware or maybe it was just grounded. I asked if my phone was really checked by the technician since itll take at least 10-15 mins to figure out what went wrong since he needs to remove the screws to check if its grounded or whats wrong but instead she went back to me within a min or two. There is just no way you can unscrew them on that time frame.

The funny yet irritating part was that shes still insisting about purchasing a battery and an lcd, it looks like we are back to square one. I remember the time when i bought the battery mos ago, she spinned the battery and said the same thing but before it didnt matter since it worked but this time the lady even mentioned that they will be charging 300 php for a consultation then another 400 php if it works and this threw everything off... i was like... we are discussing things thinking that you already gave the phone to the technician figuring out whats wrong then all of a sudden youll say that youll charge a fee for a consultation and yet it wasnt checked...

This rep just doesnt know what shes doing... you can clearly see to her face that theyre advised to sit there and spin those batteries and sell them to the customers. If theres something wrong on the screen thats an automatic lcd. Just imagine how much youll spend for an old phone with a new lcd, *cashing* for the business.

This part was the best, after me telling them that im ok with the fee for the cobsultation but for the additional 400 fee IF IT WORKS was something out of this world. A fee is a fee thats it theres no ifs. If you checked it and if you know what youre doing youll know what needs to be fixed. If you need new parts thats fine add that to my bill but if it isnt then why do i have to pay additional money for something that happens ramdomly? She said that the technician couldnt checked it on a pc since its not working, so i saide thats exactly the point why im here because it doesnt boot up pass the logo screen, i mean why would i go there if it works right?

I hoped that theyll be able to do something about my phone. But i guess the store was hopeless to begin with. One of the biggest samsung store here in the philippines but completely clueless on whats happening. If you google this issue youll find a lot of trouble shooting. Before it worked but now it didnt thats why i decided to drop by. After sales for this location is pointless. No one will give a damn thing checking your phone. Again go somewhere else.

Samsung Top Load Washer/Customer Service
January 21, 2017

I bought an higher end and what I thought was quality set of Samsung washer and dryer. When I bought the set originally (Sept. 2016) it took approx. 5 week because they were on back order. No big deal I agreed to that when I bought them. The technicians came to my house to install them (Oct. 2016), they were professional and courteous. Then on Saturday January 14,2017 my washer quit working properly-it would not drain and would not spin and at a later date would not supply water. I call Geek Squad because I bought the $100+ 5 year warranty just in case a situation like this happened. When I first called Geek squad I heard they recording about the Samsung Top Load Washer recall that was announced in November 2016(Never received any correspondence from Samsung or Best Buy about the recall). After I heard this recording I told the Geek Squad working on the phone that I have a Samsung Top Load washer and he would not even let me communicate with him what problems I was having, he just said I need to call Samsung, when I continued to try to talk to him about my issues he hung up on me. I then called Geek Squad back and talked to a different representative. She listening to my issue and was very nice, she said the issues I am having does not sound like it is associated with the recalls and she would help set me up an appointment for a Geek squad rep to come repair my Washer. She looked up my location-near Beaumont, TX(population of approx. 120,000 people) She said they do not have service rep in this area and they will have to be in contact with the store and find a third party to do the repairs. It was late Saturday and they tried to contact the Beaumont store and they were going to be calling me back on Sunday to set up an appointment. Sunday I spoke to Geek Squad, they said they were unable to get ahold of any 3rd party companies and I should be receiving a call back on Monday about an appointment. I then never received a call on Monday, so I called them, the rep said since it was Martin Luther King Day that they were still unable to get ahold of any 3rd party companies about doing the repair. They then spoke to their Special Forces Team, still not luck. So Tuesday I never received a call and I called them back again, when I spoke to them this time they said that my problem is related to the recall and I will have to go through Samsung for the recall first then if there is additional problems they will repair them after that but they would go ahead and set everything up to fix the repair with a third party if the recall did not fix the problem(this is still me only talking to Geek Squad, 4 days after the issue started and multiple phone calls). I them called Samsung and spoke to a rep, they had me scheduled to have a tech come out Friday after noon, but they will call the day before to verify the appointment and also call the day of on their way to my home. I never received a call the day before, so on Friday 1/20/2017 I again started calling Samsung and they said I should have received a call but they are still scheduled for today/Friday to come and do the repair this afternoon and he gave me the phone number for the repair company. I then attempted to call the phone number he gave me, it was for Dish Network(Satellite Company). I assumed the Samsung rep gave me the wrong phone number because I was not having issues with a TV/Satellitle so I hung up. After I called and talking to Samsung a couple hours later around 3:00 because I have still not received any call saying a technician was in route. They then told me that dish network was performing the repairs for the recall. After waiting on hold for approx. 10 minutes as I had to do everytime I called either Geek Squad, Samsung, and now Dish network. After I waited this time, I was asked by the automated person what my account was and what I was calling about. One I finally spoke to a real person, she was not able to help me do anything since I was not having problems with my satellite receiver. She finally gave me a number for the branch of Dish Network that was hired by Samsung for the repairs. Once I called them they said a technician was still scheduled for today/Friday to do the repairs and they will be onsite at approx. 4:45 pm and they will call when en route. I then left work early and lost pay to get home in time to meet the repair man. I received a call at 3:56pm, the technician was at my house already and he was seeing if I was home, he did not call when he was en route. Luck I was only a couple miles from my home at the time. The tech walked in the door and I told him the problems I was having, immediately he said what he is fixing will not fix my problems and I will have to call either Samsung or Best Buy, he was only trained to fix the recall on the units and does not have any other previous training or knowledge or these units (he was very professional and courteous also but unfortunately no help for my issues). I then called Samsung and had them start trying to set up an appointment for a repair man, at this time it was approx. 5pm, they to said it will be a 3rd party and they gave me their phone number but they do not work after 5pm or on weekends so it will be Monday before I will have an appointment set up for a unknown date and time in hopefully the near future appointment(on Monday it will be 9 days within a working washing machine at a home with a family of 4). I also called Geek squad to hopefully get an appointment set up faster- I assumed it would be because they had the Special Forces on it last time and they said before if the recall does not fix the issue they would have all information already in the system so I could get serviced quickly for my repair. Geek squad again had the same issue and would have to call me back with a good appointment date because it was still after 5pm on Friday, I assumed it would be Monday also before having an appointment set up. On Saturday(8th day without a washing machine) I received a call from a 800 number on behalf of Geek Squad, stating that an issues I am having will have to be resolved through Samsung since they are only approx. 4 months old. I have previously spoke to approx. 6 Geek Squad reps and every one of them was told the date I bought them Sept. 2016 and the approx. Date they were installed Oct. 2016, no of them told me that I would have to contact Samsung about my issue for them units being less than a year old. So I am glad I also have an appointment set up for Samsungs 3rd party to call me back on, I HOPE, Monday and set up an appointment for who knows when. My suggestion for anyone looking to buy appliances in the future. DO NOT USE BEST BUY or a SAMSUNG WASHER-they need to stick to TVs. Also I was told my multiple Geek Squad reps that I can get money back for my warranty, some said it will be prorated. But after having issues with them already I hate to get rid of the only warranty I have because I am guessing I will have multiple problems in the future. Also with the recall they offered to give you money back to buy another Samsung washer in the $ amount of approx. $800, or a different brand in the $ amount of approx. $700. I bought this washer while it was on sale, originally $999 and I bought it for approx. $600, it has one of the largest drums available(I wanted it to limit the loads I have to was for the size of my family and save time) and it is in the black/gray color I believe it is called Platinum by the manufacture. I would have taken the money and bought a new washer but everywhere in my area does not have a Samsung of this size and color in stock for atleast a week or more and to get the same size and what I thought was quality I will have to pay out of pocket the difference. I would have went with a different brand but after spending the kind of money I did for the matching set I did not want to have a Samsung Platinum dryer and a white or off colored washing machine, or different brand. So I thought the best opinion would be to have them repair it and pray that I dont have any further issues. And I hope that after I have them for a year that Geek Squad will honor what they call a warranty and fix the issues that the products they sell and warranty have. Also Samsung repair tech-Biling had me remove the hot and cold water hose and make sure water was coming out and check the filters, all were clear and working properly. Also she had me make sure the drain hose was not sticking in more than 6, it was only in approx. 4 into the drain pipe and drain was free of clogs and/or debris. As tried a test code with no luck.
If Geek Squad needs to check I have spoken to: Carol, Katy, Michael, Joshua
Best Buy Beaumont, TX: Quinton, Tim
If Samsung need to check I have spoken to: Dana, Anautica,
Unknown which Company: Jerry *******474, Kelvin *******864
And there were multiple more I have spoken to but I did not start writing them down till after I found out it was going to become an issue to have the repairs done.
