Never again

Customer service never returned my emails and the phone number gave me a system error the first handful of times I called. When I finally got past the error code, I was on hold for 50 minutes before a woman's voice came on the line. She asked for my name, which I gave to her, then she said that she couldn't hear me and if I didn't answer she would have to disconnect. I'm screaming into the phone and I can hear my voice on the other end, but she repeats the exact same thing in the exact same tone and I realize that it is a recording before being hung up on. I've come to the determination that their customer service is a joke. Never again will I order from them.

Be Aware, can't use a credit card to place an on-line order with Sally's! I tried to use a Gift Card + Credit Card online, then tried two, long waits for customer service by phone, and still, no luck as the 1st agent could not help me complete order, after waiting almost an hour on the phone. Then I tried calling back. Another 45-minute wait and a second agent could not help complete my order. Then my girlfriend got involved and found a workaround by using a different payment approach. As a first-time non-professional consumer, I can never trust Sally's sucky online OR phone ordering system. How will Sally's stay in business while shops are closed during the corona epidemic? Not with my business, I'm sorry to say!

Break deals
December 11, 2019

Bought 1 get 50% off and subscribed. The first shipping came 2nd one they shipped only conditioner and charged 17.43 no shampoo. I called the customer rep twice but said they cant help because they ran out of shampoo and they cant send it later to me after restocking. They broke the deal and i ended up charged 17.43 for just one product! Bad business dont buy on line.

I ordered something on the 4th of December and have been waiting ever since for a tracking number. My order is still "being processed" and it's been over a week. I'm sorta stressed cause I spend over 100 and need it before Christmas. I'm pretty sure I'm not getting it on time and I even tried emailing the store company but I never got my confirmation to it or a response. I'M STRESSED, I dont mind waiting days or weeks for my order but Its starting to feel like I'm never receiving them lmao. I rated this 5 stars for the 2 people that I can relate to so yeah I hope you guys got your packages omg

They'll Rob You

Bought a pair of clippers and discovered they were used. Tried to exchange it at the store and they told me that policy won't allow me to return this because it was used, even though that's how I got it. If you're thinking about buying any clippers/ trimmers, do yourself a favor, don't get them at Sally's. If you somehow get a defect and/ or used item they won't provide you with any customer service, tell you take it up with the manufacturer and burn you. In other words they'll rob you. You're better off buying them online from the manufacturer since they'll direct you to them anyway. DON'T SHOP AT SALLY'S

Love the tea tree oil shampoo. BOGO sale in Dec. I gave one to a friend, kept the other for myself. I still have half the bottle left 6 months later. A little goes a long way folks.

I have ordered several times from their website. I always qualify for the free two day shipping because I always spend over $25. Yet, not once have my items arrived or let alone left their facility it two days. I just don't appreciate them lying about the shipping. My last order was placed over a week ago and isn't scheduled for delivery for another four days. My last order took over two weeks to arrive. Far from two day shipping. That would be fine if they didn't advertise free two day shipping, but they do so I feel like that part is a total scam. Let's not support scammers.

Tried ordering an item that was 50% off. The site would not accept my card so I called. The person said they don't know why it didn't accept it and to try another card. She stayed online and said that the new card worked. She said my item had been ordered. One week later I get an email that my order was canceled. I called and after an extremely long hold she tells me some long strange explanation that the system randomly picks orders and will try to run the card at a later date and when they did it declined my new card. Never ever heard of this. We have great credit and no card issues. I asked is they would resend and she said they were out of stock and would not honor the 50% off if reordered. What company doesn't honor there prices? Or try to do something to fix their problem they clearly made. I feel they were very deceptive from the beginning. I do not trust them and will not use them again! (I have wondered if it had anything to do with me also using Ebates with the order. Maybe they didn't want me to get the additional discount?)

Disappointed

I placed an order on the 20th, my card was declined due to incorrect billing information. But my card was still charged four times. I called someone to speak to them about these transactions, I was told that it would take 72 hours for the charges to be returned... here it is the 25th, and it's still not reflecting on my account. I've tried to call each number found for sally's, and each time I got an automated message saying " our hours of operation are Monday-Friday 8AM-7pm, our offices are currently closed, you can reach us by email..." It is Monday at 8:30AM, where is my money Sally's?

I made the mistake of placing a couple of orders recently via sallybeauty.com. At the time, I qualified for free 2 day shipping. Orders were placed on a Tuesday. Three separate for different reasons, the first two did not even ship until late Friday. I won't receive them until Monday. Nothing on their website says that orders are subject to processing time, in addition to the shipping time. In addition, my last order didn't even process or show that it was going to ship until late Friday night. It now says that my order will not arrive until Thursday, more than a week will have passed since I placed the order. I placed all with in 20 minutes of each other, so it was not like I placed the first in the morning and the last late at night. Unfortunately, my local store did not have some of the products I needed in stock, which is why I had to resort to the online option. I won't purchase from them online, again.

On Friday 1. 25. 19 my husband dropped me off at the front of Sally's less than a mile from my house. I am a recent survivor of an attempted murder attack and as such have issues walking. He parked and came in. The sales associate asked him once he entered ( 6'2 360 and a dark skinned black man) " What are you doing here?' Once my husband informed me of what happened I contacted the store manager ( who never got back to me), Customer service ( who called after one week, and several calls to state there was nothing she could do the sales associate denies the comment) and the corp office ( I spoke to a legal AA and my info taken but nothing done)

When the call center finally calls me back she tells me that there is nothing she can do they looked into and the assoc states she never spoke to your husband.

I am SICK about this... how can in 2019 the color of your skin mean more than service, kindness, heck even the all mighty dollar.

You would think that even if she felt this way she would have kept silent if only for the profit...

Well, Sammy at your Largo Florida store has lost my business and as a member of several large black female based organizations I hope the business of every WOC that stands for equal treatment...

I am SHOCKED at how Sally's treats its black customers

Before I could drive I would just order online & it was a good experience at the time, even better when I could drive so I didn't have to wait for shipping ofc; p

As far as diversity of products there are some, but they are based more NA market, so trying to find premium dye's like Palty or anything Japanese based like Milbon/Shiseido is impossible, so I end up buying off ebay instead. That's probably my only qualm about this place.

Of what they did have that I liked I bought & nothing really negative to say about the experience either. If nothing else I can at least talk with the staff if I'm unsure of anything or want ideas. There a great bunch, friendly & outgoing.

I must say for a while, I thought this place was incredible. But, the stores became expensive and smaller. It is so tight in the isles. Talking about claustrophobic. Nah. I'm good.

I gave two stars because I notice that no matter which Sally Beauty you go to the customer service is sub-par and they usually have alot of ghetto people working at their locations. I think sallys should improve their game and include some high end brands in their stores so that they could make more money and maybe hire some better people with better customer service skills. I hate walking in on Sha Nay Nay being bothered because I need help finding hair dye. I should not have to deal with Sha Nay Nay attitudes.

Great Store

So I like this store to be able to get hair color. The products are nice and affordable. Staff not super helpful but I usually don't mind that... unless I have a question.
