I purchased a blazer 5 weeks ago. It was nothing like the photo in terms of color. I returned it 4 weeks ago and cannot get a refund! Return process is a nightmare. I called 8 times and each time got a very uneducated sounding rep who each time gave me a different date they received merchandise. After 4 weeks, I was told it had still not reached their facility & will take another 10 days to process. They do not want to give you money back and do everything possible to hold onto your money. Maybe they have a ash flow problem. Still no refund and the rep yesterday promised to send to escalation department but would not provide their number so I can follow up. Stay away. Do not purchase from them.
Im going to start off by saying I live in Canada. We have a Saks off Fifth here but the selection sucks. I went on the website and found a pair of shoes I loved and the price was amazing. I placed my order. A week later, nothing. No shipment confirmation. I then emailed customer service, and received some automated BS response essentially saying there was something wrong with my credit card and that I should try to place the order again. Ummm no thanks? I could already see the charge on my online banking! I decided to call customer service, which as stated by other reviewers, is some third party off shore service that really has no clue whats going on. The guy told me that on his end the order went through. The next day I received an email saying my order had been cancelled. It again told me there was something wrong with my credit card and to re-place the order. I checked my online banking and the money had been refunded. Thank god. In the midst of the whole debacle I took to googling the companies reputation and saw hundreds of garbage reviews. So happy I got my money back. I will never order from Saks off Fifth again. I advise you to do the same!
Shopping here is either a hit or a miss. Sometimes there are cute clothes for good prices and other times the clothes are weird and still seem expensive. You just have to try your luck!
Received the wrong item, was told that i could get the replacement next day air... didn't arrive. Called only to find out the agent I spoke to set the order up for NEXT DAY AIR a week from now. What a joke!

I ordered a briefcase for my fiancé.
I got the wrong briefcase in the mail.
I called and waited on the line for about 10 minutes before I got an answer. They asked the details of what was wrong and supposedly wrote it down for the people that would be packing my new order.
I got the new order and it was the wrong item... again.
Meanwhile, they told me that there was a prepaid packing label and that I'd be able to send it back through USPS or FedEx. I tried to send it through USPS and they told me the barcode was invalid. So now I have TWO wrong bags, and no way to send them back because the shipping labels don't work and they said the only other way to return is if FedEx picks it up from my house and I live on a college campus. I told them that I could go to my parent's house in a week and schedule it to be picked up from there and they said I can't wait that long.
Lastly, in the second package they sent a weird $100 wine voucher (but you have to spend $160 to use it) for a sketchy, illegitimate website.
Unprofessional and not willing to assist customers that THEY drive away.
Received an email offering an additional 40% discount off Meira T jewelry on top of the already discounted price shown on the site. Went to the site, added the item to the shopping cart and put in the code: 24HOURS in the promotion box only to get a pop up window telling me the promotion wasn't valid.
Called customer service and was told to try to buy it again in 1 hour as the site would be updated. Tried again and same result.
It's all just a fake promotion in the hopes of generating traffic to their site without any intention of honoring the promotion prices.
Here's one customer they don't have to worry about ever again.

I generally view my online shopping experience based on ease of return and prices.
I buy from Saks Off 5th occasionally when I see good deals.
Recently, I had placed several orders for Longchamp Le Pliage totes so I could select the best colors and styles. I had brought the unneeded items from multiple orders for return to one of the local stores.
Here are the flaws that I saw:
1. Unfriendly gloomy personnel. I wish they were trained to be pleasant and smile when serving their customers.
2. I was asked for my e-mail once. I expected that all the return receipts would be sent to y e-mail. Instead, I only received the 1st return receipt by e-mail. I hate to rely on paper receipts only, as I tend to loose them often.
3. When I checked my online account information several days later, NONE of the return activity was reflected there.
4. I had to go to my credit card account to verify that the money were returned.
BOTTOM LINE:
1. The return of online orders was unsatisfactory and outdated. The return process needs to be fully automated and not rely on paper receipts for proof of return.
2. Based on 1, I will keep my shopping at Saks Off 5th to the bare minimum or try not to shop there at all.
Placed an order in the morning with next day shipping. Received a call from their "security dept" at night. Tried calling back and no answer... get a voicemail? Tried calling 24hr customer service and have been on hold for 30+min.
Online order fullfillment feels stuck in the 90's. Terrible system. Should be able to place a less than $100 order without all these hoops to jump through... calls backs, phone confirmations, etc.
If you are from canada, i highly recommend not buying anything from the saks of 5th website if you would like to recieve that purchase within a month at least. A complete pain to call, provides inconsistent and inaccurate information. Abomination.
I had purchased a versace bag. Less than a year the fabric material ripped and the handle ripped off as well. I never have this problem with other brands. I am surprised the quality of a brand name bag is like this. The store cannot do anything to help. Disappointed.
I returned a purchase over a month ago and have yet to see my money returned. My account on the site shows it was returned. Service rep told me to check with my bank, which I did. My personal banker showed no such entry so she called their bank and was told that it has to go through two of their banks before return is processed to my bank. Well, it's been over a month and I still don't have $108.00 that is due to me. Terrible!
They allowed me to purchase items online that were out of stock, I still to this day haven't been refunded the money for the order, they said it takes 10-14 business days for money to return, I decided to cancel the whole order and now it's too late so I have to drive to return the half of an order when I payed to have the whole thing delivered. Basically robbery, Head My Warning don't shop with them you will regret it
I have placed a order on June 18 and they lost my package and got shipped back to the warehouse I kept calling customer service and they keep we documenting everything because I asked them to send my items back when they received and they kept saying don't worry we going to express shipping it, but unfortunately they didn't do nothing except issue a refund and all the items was sold out the next day they received them and the funny part every time you ask to talk to a supervisor they hang up in your face.
My mom ordered an expensive purse and they gave her a inexpensive shoes also my sister ordered a purse and they cancelled her order two times and the purse still says on stock
I placed an order at the end of May, i spend $200, Saks supposed to send me a coupon,$40, they had an offer, of you would spend $200, you would get a $40 coupon. I never got it, I called, they laid me every time, that I am gonna get the coupon in a mail, email, different stories. I HAD the worst shopping experience, very unprofessional company
Toll free number is answered by offshore. Finally spoke to someone allegedly in the state is like talking to a wall. Placed the order for 2 day delivery its been 5 business days and still counting! STAY AWAY! STAY AWAY! Don't waste your time!
This was the first time that I had ordered. Never will again. I wound up ordering duplicate items in two different orders. There was a tab that said you could cancel an order within 20 min. I did that. Kept getting emails about both orders but nothing about canceling the one. I called within an hour and she said there was no way that they could cancel it at that time but I could return one without having to pay shipping. I used their return label. According to them, it took 11 days for them to get it and then it could take as much as 10 days for them to refund my money. I buy something, and without having it in my hands, they charge me immediately. They have the product and it takes 10 days to refund your money? This is 2017 not 1960, or 70, or 80, or 90... Very poor customer service.
The worst Customer Service i have experienced! Top managerial levels are clueless... who hires or promotes these people to those jobs? Instead of apologies, how about taking "ACTION"!
