I expect a discount store staff not to be top quality servers. But the managerial level is the worst I have ever experience. What ever happened to 'customer service' and 'diffusing a situation'. My friend and I were treated discourteously by a salesman and when we complained we were met by an aggressive manage who ramped up the situation to where he was going to throw 'me' out of the store. He who raged how I had offended his salesman. Now there are always two sides to a story but in this case the manager was way over the top and out of line with a woman - me - who/is was old enough to be his mother. Friday, May 12 around noon. That's this snarky, aggressive managers beat. Stay away.

I found the saks site to be very unstable and constantly reporting that goods were sold out when they were not. Ordering to Canada is a real problem - if you use the promotional code you were sent for opening an account the order will be processed and then cancel - the customer service will not advise you that this has happened. Apparently you are supposed to input the order yourself and then call customer service for a credit equivalent to the $30.00 off for a 150.00 order. Watch your bag - the prices reported when you check out will not be the same - much higher than the quoted price. Head scratching - what to do? Wait on hold for 10 minutes or more. Total waste of time. Shop elsewhere when customers are treated better and the website is more efficient.

After shopping online for several months, all of a sudden my online account was locked. I placed several phone calls to their customer service with no results. I was sent temporary emails that didn't unlock the account, was told they would fix it within 30 minutes (didn't happen), they had a technical problem and would look into it and call me back (didn't happen either). I finally asked them to delete the account so I could create a new one. They did and just then told me I would not be able to create a new account using my regular email address. I was so furious I just hung up on them.
Out of curiosity I tried to create a new account with a different email address. That seemed to work but only until a few minutes later I tried to sign in again and then was told the account was locked! I even received two emails from saksoff5h, welcoming me for creating a new account, with a link to my account, that was locked.

On top of that, I had participated twice in their Friends & Family events and had earned gift cards. I was supposed the receive them via email. Which, of course never happened either. I called about this, was told they had sent them, I recalled and finally was sent a promo code (over wrong amount) and of course when I tried the code, it was invalid! This is the most frustrating experience with a customer service ever, they are absolutely unprofessional and just lost me as a customer, will never ever buy there again!

What they sell from their online store are items that were perhaps returned or exchanged. Or those ones that are too unsatisfactory to be in their stores but instead brought them to this site to be sold in inexpensive prices. Save your money and invest in quality than quantity. In my experience, most of the items I purchased at Saks Off Fifth are simply poor in quality. And it is better for you to find other sites that sell with quality.

- I was sent the wrong item
- waited a month for a refund and was told i had already gotten a refund
- called my bank and they told me that they had refunded me... AND THEN TOOK THE MONEY BACK OUT OF MY CCOUNT!
THIS IS THE WROST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD. NORDTROMS AND NEIMAN MARCUS are much better options

I returned an item for $400 on 2/16/17. Fed Ex confirms that it was received by Saks on 3/2/17. I still have not received a refund. I have called numerous times and been placed on endless hold. Speaking to a supervisor does not help. I have returned 2 other items to other vendors on or after 2/16. These items were refunded promptly. I will not order from Saks Off 5th again!

Sent me the wrong item, over one month since I returned it and I still have not received my money back. Numerous phonecalls, emails, have not helped. I have never encountered such poor customer service anywhere, and I am a very frequent online shopper. Truly horrible, stay away.

Bought some boots for my wife for Christmas. She didn't like them and I returned them well within the return period, using my own UPS shipping. They received them on January 5th. After many calls, chats, and emails promising to credit within 5 days, I got a credit over 30 days after they got the boots back minus a $9.50 fee for a pre-paid shipping label that I didn't even use. I would give zero stars if possible. I will never shop with them regardless of the price due to the horrible service.

First off, bless your soul if you have the courage to buy online at saks off fifth. My journey begins when I saw a YSL scarf in stores and when I went back to get it a few weeks later they were out of stock. Since I had already seen the product I decided to buy through their online store. After buying it I got a confirmation email saying that I will receive a email when my item has been shipped. The confirmation email also says Please note that we will not charge your payment method until we have shipped your order. I had found that my card was immediately charged and I had still not received the shipping status email. After four days I called to check what the status of my order was (thinking that I had just not received the order). WOW, was I in for a great time. If youve had the pleasure of dealing with the calling centre you might know that they are extremely unhelpful and rude. I provided my order number and the lady from the call centre asked if I properly knew how to place an order online and if it was on the Canadian website (Im located in Canada). To which I responded yes I feel competent enough to fill out an online order and the order summary was even in Canadian dollars. She felt as if that was rude so she made sure to let me know how she felt. Maam it was a simple question you dont need to be rude. The stuff the lady was saying sounded like it was straight out of their costumer service manual dodging my questions. It was explained to me that the order was cancelled and that it never went through. (LOL how did that happen?! My card still got charged). I was wondering why my card got charged for an item I was never going to receive. The lady explained that it is some sort of pre-authorized charge. (OOOOOOKKAYY but email said otherwise). Anyways I am still waiting for my money to be returned.

Moral of the story, this is the saddest attempt of a scam Ive ever seen. They just hope you forget about your item and that they can pocket the money. All the great deals you see online are fake and it is all a lie. So sad. I just wanted the scarf. Dont buy from saks off 5th.

Saks off fifth has the absolute worst customer service line to call into. The call is routed to the Philippian's and no one really understands English. I have had an issue in that my bag online will not load. After several phone calls totaling over 2 hours of my time the result is not even being able to sign into my account. So I am now worse off than I was. Half of the service people had no idea what I was even talking about. The other half said it will be fixed and never fixed it. How does a brand that stands for quality have such horrible customer service. I spend a good amount of money here and I am going to shop elsewhere. This has been terrible.

Bought a pair of so-called J Brand jeans from this company and after washing them ONCE in cold water, line dried, they shrank several sizes. I contacted the company, but they won't issue a refund since the only accept unlaundered merchandise with the tags on. So they only guarantee these jeans until the first washing. Nice.

Ripoff Artists
January 2, 2017

I bought a pair of slippers and followed the size chart from their website, the slippers arrived and were way too big, I returned them using the enclosed shipping label only to find out that they deduct the shipping charge from your refund, what a ripoff, and furthermore there is no place to leave a review of their product on their own website, what a joke, the customer service person I spoke with seemed completely unaware that I might be upset that I ordered a clothing item that didn't fit and was charged for returning it. Now i have no way of giving another customer a heads up by leaving a review, I will never purchase another clothing item from their website again.

Saks and Saks Off 5th have thr WORST possible customer service. I returned an item and after more than a month of getting the run-around by countless cs agents, telling me that a review of warehouse video would be done, there was never any such thing. They obviously lost or stole the item and iinsist I never sent it back. Ny other store woukd have refunded my money. I spent close to $1000 in the past six months at that store and now they're stealing over $300 from me. I had another incident with saks before, in which I returned a pair of boots, well within the return period and the manager just refused to take them back. I had to go theough bbb for a refund. In thenpresent case, bbb can do nothing because they continue to lie about not having the item! I will MEVER shop at Saks or Off 5th again!

SAKS ARE EXPERT SCAMMER
November 6, 2016

I have bought from saksoff5th.com multiple times and have always gone to store to return merchandise. This one time I was in Idaho where there was no saksoff5th store, I ordered some shoes from them online. The shoes ran big so I packaged them the next day put their return shipping label on the box and sent them back to them. 3 weeks pass, I call saks to inquire where my refund is. They told me that they are going to issue it within a few day. I wait a couple more weeks, they send me the shoes back with a letter saying that they can not accept the shoes because they have been worn, I check the shoes. They looked like they have been worn and got stained with oil. I didnt even wear the damn shoes for more than 5 seconds.
I then called SAKS to address my concern, I have been told that a manager will call me back, I called back and again been told that a manager will get in touch with me. NO ONE has ever called me back.
I then filed my dispute with my credit card. My credit card resolved in my favor in the first 40 days and then 3 months past I have been told that saks has sent them proof of delivery? Thats not what I disputed dummies.
Bottom line is dont shop from SAKSOFF5TH. If you have to make sure you return your goods by hand and not through mail, I know some people who have been charged for authentic goods and have been sent fake stuff.
BEWARE, this company got some unprofessional, unethical people working for them. If they are not the head of the gang anyways.

I always go to the clearance title and click on it. While there are high-end items listed there are also items that are on sale. I always buy items that are on sale and these items are priced less than TJ Maxx and even Macy's. I've purchased cashmere sweaters that are made better than the ones at Macy's and at a lower price than them. I did purchase some shorts that were made in China and were way too small. Instead of returning them to China, I gave them to some friends. They are very good at taking things back without questions asked. They give you a list of problems that may be the reason you are returning the goods. Just enter one of them and return the goods. If I remember correctly they supply the shipping label prepaid.

I have ordered two items from this store, a Badgley Mischka bag and Ash sneakers. The bag came badly scratched as if it was worn by someone else and one of the shoes was also damdge. They've offered me a 10%, but hell no I'm buying used up stuff even with 10% discount again!
