Saks Fifth Avenue your customer service is non-existent. I earned a $750 promotional gift card. No one thought it important to let me know that it expires within a month. I just went to use it and was told sorry - it's no longer worth anything. I called my store. I was told a manager would get back to me. No one returned my phone call. I am furious! I was told sorry for the inconvenience. Inconvenience? I lost $750! I will be sure to re-tell this story everywhere until they reinstate that card. Saks Fifth Avenue

Awful experience. I lost 300 dollars because my parcel was delivered at the address without my presence even if when I was making a purchase it was written that signature is required for delivery. When I came next day I didn't find my shipment. I've opened a case 2 times but maximum what they gave is 20% for next purchase! After this experience I don't even want to look at this store. If you don't want to stay without product and money it's better to look at different shop.

I purchased a pair of Dolce & Gabbana shoes on line from Saks 5th Avenue. My wife removed one shoe from the box and decided she didn't like the style. She never tried them on and did not remove any of the wrapping and I promptly returned them the next day. Out of the blue, with no communication, they bounced back to me with a note inside stating "inspection has deemed this item is not in saleable condition; it has been worn, washed, damaged, or altered. No defect found." None of this is accurate. It was not worn washed damaged or altered! We barely touched one shoe to look at it. I immediately called the 877 # to try to remedy the situation. The agent was actually very nice instructing me to email him pictures of the shoes. I did this while on hold and he looked at the pictures and agreed the shoes looked fine. He said he would email me a return label but ran into a roadblock saying there was nothing he could do. I politely asked to speak with a supervisor. He eventually came back saying he was going to have FedEx pick them up from my address. So, I finally got this resolved but the hassle and accusation were definitely not worth it. I can honestly say I will never shop Saks again, does anyone blame me?
I placed an order last night. I called this morning to see if I can change the size. After half an hour with two different ppl which both were rude and cutting me off, they couldn't modify or cancel my order. If it was in transit I would understand. Otherwise this is just some bull$#*!. Now I will have to pay for shipping to return the order! I guess they don't care about losing customers.
They sent me the wrong item and I have been dealing with this issue back and forward for 4 months already and I do not get a final refund. I spent thousand of dollar in this store and now even when they delivered the item in question for the last time ( they were not supposed to sent it back again) on the wrong place they do not want to give the refund. Very bad experience.
I returned two expensive evening gowns as I struggled to find a mother-of-the-groom dress that fit. I deeply appreciate their easy return process! Thank you Saks!
I purchased a pair of Prada combat boots for my wife which was defective. I returned the item over two weeks and today I get an email stating they will not return my refund. Now they have the boots and $2100 of my money and I'm fighting to get my money back. The website and phone number they provide goes to nowhere and they know this! Iif you read the reviews on their website others have the same problem.
Ordered a bag from Saks, when the bag arrived it smelled strongly of smoke and had visible damage. Saks agreed to provide a full refund, sent back bag and they deducted $10 for shipping (after promising not too) had to call to get that fixed, they sent a replacement - they sent the wrong item. Each time they cannot do a replacement and require to refund (which takes 14 days) and then place a new order which takes another 14 days to ship (and they try and charge you shipping fees each time).
I purchased 2 dresses online and returned both two days after receiving them. I could do the return online for the one dress, but the other dress showed as "not shipped", even though I tried it on the night before. I called and they e-mailed me a label so I could return it. Low and behold, the same $700 dress showed up at my house a week later with a note stating the dress was worn and could not be resold. If it was worn, then they sold me a USED dress and I've been fighting with them for over a month to get my money back! First they could not send me a label because one was already printed. That went on for a week. Then they said to just leave the package outside for FedEx pick up. No pick up was scheduled. I finally got to someone who actually scheduled the pick up and they package was received by Saks over a week ago. I am still waiting for my refund. On the phone waiting for a supervisor and they girl just told me they sent the dress back again! Beyond frustrated!
I ordered a pair of flip-flops for my daughter. They sent the wrong item. I contacted customer service and have to return the flip-flops for a full refund which is fine. Now they are not on sale anymore, and they refuse to honor the price for replacement even though it was their mistake
Do not shop here! I ordered an item online and it arrived missing a belt and smelled like someone's stinky perfume. When I called customer service, after many unanswered emails, they agreed to give me a price adjustment with the suggestion I go find a matching belt since the item was sold out. The next day I received and email I would not be getting a credit after taking many factors into consideration? Wtf does that even mean? DISGUSTING.
I ordered a pair of Stuart Weitzman boots on clearance. Saks off Fifth uses some unknown deliver service, CDL. I received email of delivery but package was no where to be found. I called Saks Off Fifth customer service several times, promised a call back which was never received.
I live in a safe, gated community. There was no photographic proof of delivery. I checked at my front door, backyard deck and garage. No delivery.
I disputed the charge with American Express. Suddenly, CDL confirmed delivery. I have to file a police report and challenge non-receipt of order. I will NEVER order from Saks Off Fifth again.

Today I went to Saks 5th Ave., Tysons, VA, and I had a horrible experience. I had a few gift card that I wanted to use & the lady that helped me started to help me & kept on helping other customers at the same time so she won't loose the commission from them. It took a good 45 mins to just order a top. When she came back after half way helping me I told her that she is too busy helping me & at the same time another customer maybe I should go to a different sales person. She got mad. I also had a few gift card that I wanted to use. She got mad because she had to check each one to see if there was any money on it. Very poor customer service. I will never go to Saks fifth.
Ordered a Givency jacket got a Versace sweater. I had to go though my credit card to get a refund some dishonest employee at saks switched the tags on the product. Went though 3 supervisors. All awful employees. All i can do is spread the word. A very dishonest company.
I ordered with saks and they sent me the wrong item, my item was $295 dollars and they sent the complete wrong item. I called them they told me it was nothing they could do except issue a refund in which case i had to go to fed ex mail off the incorrect item back to them then wait for them to receive it then wait up to another 10 days for them to issue a refund. As i waited for a mistake that was made on THEIR part, the item that i originally ordered sold out in my size and they have nothing to say except this is their return policy.
Worst customer service ever! They shipped to my old address, said they did a 'thorough investigation' and will not refund! They are CRAZY. I've been an online customer for a few years, and suddenly, after their mistake, they've not only stressed me out, they've kept my money. Awful company!
If I could give a zero rating I would! They are so awful! I made the mistake of ordering 2 different items from them - the first one arrived, I didn't like it so I returned it. Their return policy to credit back money takes FOREVER, longer than any other retailer I have dealt with. The 2nd item I never received so I filed a missing product claim which was approved. Waiting for refund, the item was located and returned back to Saks. It's been a month since I first ordered the item and have yet to receive my refund. This is unacceptable! I will NEVER order from them again!
I recently order a pair of prada monolith combat boots. I was so excited when my size was available since everywhere else is sold out. I placed my order and it was delivered within a week. When i took them out of the box they were scratched. They had creases. They were ripped and the soles showed signs of used. The box was falling apart it had stains. In the inside the shoe bags were cover with cat or dog hair and crumbs. The big pouch was missing. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE! THE REVIEWS ARE NOT FAKE! The boots were advertised as brand new not used or returned. Im so disappointed.

Few experiences to ordering stuff in person, at the store at the store, then receiving emails saying it is delayed, then after 6 months saying that item is no longer available.
Now! This time the problem is the refund for the amount of $648. Been 2 months already. I called already 10 times. They said takes 10-15 days. It has been 50 days. Still did not get my refund.
I was hesitating before buying a Helmut Lang dress on final sale in online store because of the bad reviews, but surprisingly it was an amazing experience. The item was shipped the next day, in 2-3 days with free shipping I got the dress in a very good packaging and it's exactly the same as on the picture. This is my first purchase ever at Saks and I'll be back for more online shopping!
Answer: Saks has GONE DOWN THE DRAIN; there is NO CUSTOMER SERVICE.
