I finally got my all white furniture and my shag in my living room. I've wanted that since the seventies and if it's impractical or not in style, then I like it even better.
I've bought four rugs from Rugs.com (so far) in the past year. Most of their rugs are made of synthetic fibers, and they don't have any wool rugs. But that's one way to keep their prices low, I guess, and if synthetic is okay with you, this is a great place to shop! What I like: You can save yourself time by narrowing your site search using their filters, and only be shown the size, colors, styles, etc. that you're interested in. If you can wait a few days to a week or so, delivery is free. And they give you a generous 30-day window in which to return your purchase for free (they send you a prepaid mailing label). The downside: You *can't* trust that the colors you see on your computer monitor or phone screen are true. A rug's colors as seen on the website may turn out to be rather different in person, as I discovered when I ordered a distinctly gold rug that turned out to be distinctly ivory-beige, and its "green" accents were pale turquoise. (See photos; left photo is a screenshot of "gold" rug on website, and right photo, of actual rug, was taken in natural light in my bedroom.) Even their own photos on each rug's page vary wildly in color, though the videos seem more reliable. But hey: 30 days to return it for free! I highly recommend rugs.com.

I have been looking for a deep yellow washable rug. Finally found it. Great site.
Unfortunately the shipment was sent by 2 carriers and one piece was sent to the incorrect address. I will now have to wait an additional 1-2 days for an update on when it will be delivered. Meanwhile the furniture movers I had scheduled are now on hold until I can get a new delivery date. Customer service has been kind but can not solve this problem. Shipping with GLS is unreliable.
