A collection was scheduled between 10:46 and 14:46 today (25/9) but no show. I continued to wait at home in the vain hope that they would appear and at approx 16:35 I got an email to say that they had attempted to deliver my parcel at 16:20 but there had been no one at home. Blatant lie! I was in the front garden from 16:10 to the time I received the email and there was NO ONE from RM within sight of my home!
I now have to wait for them to come tomorrow. I complained to Amazon, who arranged the collection, and unfortunately there was no other option for me to return the item I bought but to use the RM
Collection service. Royal Mail has become the most unreliable and worst delivery service of today and I will never, out of choice, use them! RM Nottingham are a joke!
Customer service line always takes over 30 mins to answer. In the last month I have had to call on a number of occasions regarding lost mail, even signed for deliveries! They then take weeks while they 'infestigate' why this takes so long when everything is scaned I have no idea? I now use alternative delivery companies that photograph their delivered items. Royalmail is not the service it used to be. Even their postboxs in my area are not collected every day, yet they still charge for first class - wrong!
Royal Mail cutbacks and use of couriers, are making Royal Mail the most unreliable delivery service for parcels. They were always very reliable, now they are the worst, especially in the LU1 area. Doesn`t matter the service used, they will take the money for 24hr services even though your parcel won`t move for days.
I am utterly disappointed and frustrated with my recent experience with Royal Mail. I had entrusted them with a highly valuable delivery which required guaranteed delivery and a signature from myself. Not only was this protocol disregarded, but the package was stolen from the delivery person.
I had expected the service, especially for such an important delivery, to be seamless and trustworthy. Instead, I found myself dealing with the stress and complications that arose from their negligence. What's even more frustrating is that I have provided proof of the stated delivery requirements and evidence supporting the incident.
I moved house and acquired a redirection service. The mail went to the old address. I missed over 7 important letters. I sent a test letter to myself to the old address with Special Delivery Guaranteed Next Day. The test letter went to the old address. I contacted Royal Mail and provided evidence that the Redirection Service didn't work. They refused to put things right initially. When I attempted to call, their Customer Service dropped my call. Terrible service. I had to call over 10 times to get my money back for the service I didn't receive, including for Redirection and Guaranteed Next Day. They did everything possible not to give my money back. Only after I threatened with legal action, they gave my money back. The service was extremely bad. The treatment was extremely unfair. Avoid their redirection service by all means possible because you risk paying for nothing and getting no service, thinking your mail would be redirected. They are not Royal Mail but Royal Fail. It is a shame to use the "Royal" word for such a terrible service.
Lazy set of workers who cant make their deliverys in time, expected delivery on tuesday so i took time off work to take it and now im being told thursday because they cant do their job correctly.
Royal mail accepts medication deliveries but keeps hold of them too damn long. Let Amazon have a go.
The driver is saying he has tried 3 times to deliver the parcel to my mums flat and no one was home complete lies. You have to press the buzzer to the flat to enter to building so he has not even tried plus my elderly parents do not go out in the evening not at all happy with the service as it was a present for my dad who's birthday is tommorow. An absolute joke will use a more professional and better company like dhl nest time. Not the Royal mail never again.
I bought a camouflage track suit from Amazon ( or so I thought) little did I know when I looked on my phone, it was being shipped by " Royal mail " never heard of them. This was on May 27th, 2023. It is now June 9th, 2023, and according to my orders on my Amazon account it still says it's in Preston MC, guess what? No wonder you people in the UK lost the revolutionary War to the USA, it's in Indianapolis, Indiana, scheduled for drop off June 12th, 2023. WOW!
I would have rated Royal Mail lower than 1 star, but you have nothing less here. What a load of rubbish service they are running... "undelivering" and "redelivering" with this new system of theirs. They need DELIVERANCE from their ineptitude. Must be a bunch of airheads managing their operations, yet they have the audacity to brag about being a "green business entity". Please tell me how do you attempt redelivery on a working day over and over when evidently people are at work? To make matters worse, the courier arrives at irregular times contrary to advise given to customers who try to look out for the next redelivery. Even the postmen themselves are fed up of inexplicable answers to complaining customers and appear embarrassed to be wearing the uniform when accosted with queries. Well here's a solution; AUCTION THE ORGANISATION TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER IN THE BUSINESS. What a shame!
Royal Mail are a joke posted 10 items only five items arrived complete utter rubbish I've lost so much money because of these clowns
I was sent a package from an online store who used this company. The estimate time of arrival was 9 days from date of purchase which was fine. But once the package was sent, stayed at sorting center for days at a time. The last message is that it left the UK. I had to pay for delivery and they package which cost me a lot of money which is probably lost due to this company. There is no way for me to contact them, they have no email address or contact number listed on their webpage, just questions and articles. They know since you're in another country you can do nothing if they don't deliver. I do have proof of purchase. I found the new estimated date of delivery which I didn't sign up for on a tracking site. This infuriates me and makes me feel cheated.
Delivery date was supposed to be 26/03/2023 it has now changed to 16/05/2023
The worst service I have ever known! They softly knock on the door and immediately leave... I do not have time to go down from the 3rd floor in a second! Do I have to follow the car?! This happens every time! I do Redelivery and again the same thing happens! Worst and nastiest service ever! I hate!
It has been a full month and my package has only moved once. I have no idea how long thid will take. Im never using this service again.
I bought a product and it was posted more than 2 weeks ago and it stay stucked in "Heathrow Worldwide DC".
It totally $#*!ed my plans and my friend plans, bc we bought the $#*! 3 weeks before to make sure it would arrives, what obviously didnt happened and dont have date to arrives.

All this talk of Cyber-attacks as if its suddenly turned a good business bad. They've been a shambles for months. Posted several items overseas early-December, still haven't got there. All tracked, which is a joke, some apparently haven't even left the Post office let alone the country. Have numerous ebay items showing as undelivered but buyers posting positive feedback and thanking me for the item, which according to Royal Mail haven't even got there yet. I waited 6 days for a Special Delivery (guaranteed by 1PM the next day!) to come around 100 miles. Utterly useless.
Pay people more or hire people that want to work! The services of RM have become a joke, especially considering the prices! Since last November there have been several issues with your services in the UK and with international packages. 1st class recorded packages took over a week to be delivered. I had several cases when there were no updates to the tracking information for a whole working week, this is completely unacceptable in the business environment of today. Several international packages sent in early December have had no update for over a month which meant that I had to refund the buyers and lost repeat business due to the poor service of Royal mail. The time you have to wait to make a claim is ridiculously long and who knows how long they will take Royal mail to process. Complete disaster, switched over to courier services and have been satisfied since.

After ordering a set of radio shop guitar pickups they were given to Royal Mail on the 14th of December so that they could be sent to my address in Australia now on Sunday the 8th of January I see that instead of them being outbound to come to Australia they have gone to Langley and are still waiting to clear customs so the the transportation to Australia can commence,now I thought our national transport provider, Australia Post was bad at times but this is ridiculous and the person I've been corresponding with via emails from radio shop confirms that he seems to spend more time on the phone finding out whether Royal Mail is going to do their job or not and if this was happening in Australia people would not hesitate to get an ombudsman involved,why is this company still operating after reading all the reviews of the pathetic kind of service they provide, this will never happen again because if I order anything from the United Kingdom I will be insisting on ups or FedEx being the shipping company that handles any orders, it's a shame you cannot give negative star ratings because that seems to be exactly what they deserve, and I don't give 1iota of a flying &$@& if they are on strike I paid almost 650 Australian dollars for those pickups and I want these bone idle lazy Muppets to get off their backsides and do their damn job, unfortunately pathetic is the only word I can come up with to partially adequately seem to describe their quality of service because the description I would truly like to give is not fit to print in this column. The true rating they deserve is 0
I had a very terrible experience today 21st of December at 9:23AM from a very rude customer service advisor, he hung up on me twice
He was looking for every excuse to get me off the phone from the get-go, and wasn't interested at all in anything I had to say, now I know why royal mail have so many bad reviews online, I didn't get his name but the good thing calls are recorded, this man shouldn't be in a customer service role
I rang ******* 777 888 because my redirection was cancelled by SUSAN WEAVER one of the customer service advisor stating in a letter that I did not send any evidence, despite sending in the required documents, note that I paid for this document to be tracked, and It was received by S CARTER,
I want my refund! And find my documents!, I have now contacted royal mail again by post today, I would have prefer to get this sorted out on the phone but I was told by another customer service advisor to send a letter by post
Never again will I do a mail redirection or let anyone I know do a redirection at royal mail, my very first and last
Answer: You can't get hold of the customer services at Royal Mail, it's as if they couldn't be bothered. There not a very reliable service they don't turn up when they are booked to deliver a parcel (redeliver) which is not good. I have found other companies with a much better service and a better attitude towards customers. Royal Mail is not a good company.
