Paid $50 for express shipping using DHL. Promised Thursday and needed part no later than Saturday. Package delayed until following Tuesday so I refused it. Rock Auto charged me $60 return shipping... Never use DHL and hope you never need help...
I bought a compressor kit for my Equinox. It came with condenser, drier, expansion valve with the compressor. The compressor is defective. I tried to initiate a warranty claim, I accidently hit the wrong option and I was immediately notified that the part was unreturnable because proper procedures had not been followed. There is no place to correct it and when you call the phone number listed, it states that they don't do warranty returns over the phone. Use the site. And the site won't let me redo the claim and correct the mistake. This is pathetic.If you want to use the automated helper on the site, it redirects you to a site that charges 1 dollar then a 55 dollar subscription to get them to help you...crazy..

They have sent me the wrong part on multiple different occasions, twice within past two months. Every time I have had to foot the return fee. They have no customers service phone line not even chat or an email to complain. If you are reading this because your thinking about using them don't you will regret it.
Impossible to get a hold of someone. Need to return a part that arrived broke. I don't have a printer so I am unable to return item. I would never use rock auto again and would not recommend any to.
Using the RockAuto online catalogue, I ordered wiper blades for my 06 Toyota Avalon. The total cost was $29.86 for the two blades. Neither one fit. When I returned them, RockAuto only gave me credit for $11.79. No credit for shipping to me and deduction for the return shipping. So I got back only 39% of what I spent and the problem was all theirs! Note that they will not allow phone calls to customer service; you must communicate via email. And when I complained, they said it was all explained in their online warranty description.
Ordered item om the 10th of November. Supposed to arrive November 14th. Tracking says " label printed". Filed a part not recieved and told to wait until November 20th. The label was printed jus 400 miles away from my location. Customer can't wait. Had to go buy part locally to satisfy customer and now will take weeks or longer to get my money back from rockauto. Rockauto you've lost my business and I will post here at the USAF base auto shop warning others not to buy from rockauto
I ordered a part and mechanic couldn't fit me in for 30 days. It was front wheel hub assembly for an 07 Audi A6. The part only came with half of the assembly and no one to call and return couldn't be made. Warranty was denied. Tried everything. Can't find the other part that's needed for it so now I'm out of $200 and have to find the whole hub and pressed bearing part somewhere else. I'm furious. All of this could have been solved if they just had a customer service. Not even a chat. No one to help at all. I have cried for two hours as that's the last of the money I had.
Don't deal with RockAuto. It's a company that shows a correct part on their website that you need and order, and then ships something else. They have NO customer service, and only an automated system for returns. Only problem, is that they will gladly take back an order, and charge a shipping cost. In my case, a charge of $130, that was twice the cost of a fender.
It's a classic bait and switch operation; with no recourse, but to suck it up, keep a wrong part, and never deal with RockAuto again. It was a costly mistake on my part.

Ordered parts twice from this site can't contact customer service cause they have none. First order no problem with. This second order ordered the 23rd of October today is November 13th no parts yet to come. There tracking through the USPS is straight trash. Doesn't even deserve 1 star.
I bought a head from them and it would let my engine run. I installed the old head with new timing parts and it fired right up. I sent the head back to Rock Auto on my dime and they gave me $100 of the $600. I had no engine codes and no indication of the problem. After checking all spark and fuel delivery and 170psi on all cylinders I was at a stopping point. All pointed to the head could be for a 2.5l instead 2.0l.or it just didn't work
You pay extra to have it delivered so you can fix your vehicle. They do not deliver and their out is the word "estimated". That means that after they take you money, in my case it was an extra $16. And my car is on jack stands waiting the weekend as DHL does NOT deliver on Saturdays. So right now I have 3 more days... maybe before I get my part.
Never, never, never pay extra for a faster delivery. And if you look for anything that could be customer service... there is none.

I have a ram truck I have bought upper and lower control arms wheel hubs and a starter all have failed. Ball joint, and wheel bearing just over a year (10,000 miles maybe) starter 3 months. Save yourself time and buy from your local parts store.
Sent me a the wrong cv axle, I ordered one for the manual version of my car and I assume they sent me the automatic one because The axle shaft is 2 mm smaller and the part that seats in the axle seal is 3mm smaller, best part is they won't even cover shipping on their part the screw up, they offered to "split it" which to them means cover 3 dollars
Ordered upper and lower ball joints for my Chevy k1500 pickup. #1: upper ball joints came with holes not drilled in proper alignment and grease fitting hole full of metal shavings on both upper joints. BOTH!.#2 lower ball joints: all bolts were soft that stripped out so so easy with a 3/8 ratchet! Mind you, these are extremely important safety suspension items. Dangerous defects. Such junk. And the rubber boots around ball joints were tied with bread ties and falling off before unwrapping. Now, would you use? Of course not. What defective crap.
Don't ever order from this company. I shipped order back in original boxes unopened. They say they didn't receive all the parts. If they didn't receive them they didn't ship them.

U lied said this was gm says it on the paperwork the part said made in china right on it. So u waste my time and patience. Now I have to send this all back. And u changed me full price as if that was a gm part it was not. That cost 5 bucks butt u sold it as a original.if it's not a original gm part do sell it as one.
We purchased the appropriate autolite spark plugs for our Subaru WRX. One of them broke apart into the motor within two weeks. The car is now unusable for three months.After sending the defective spark plug back … we have been ghosted. So much for great warranty I read about! I can not recommend this company!
I went on to the rock auto website and ordered brake pads and rotors. The break pads came, but the rotors did not. The order says it was delivered in full, but it has not! It is impossible to make a complaint on their website and now I am out $111.
I will NEVER use this ripoff company again, and I suggest you don't either! No customer service at all! They have basically stolen money from me!
From now on, I will go to a parts store and gladly pay more! Now I have to wait to save $ to buy rotors that I should already have!
