No shipping refund

Ordered parts from their website that indicate they fit m vehicle. They did not fit. Lost shipping to my home plus et urn shipping for refund. Rockauto refuses to refund shipping on my credit return.

TOTAL SCAM

Got different parts in the boxes then what was suppost to be in them. Never got half my order and getting in touch with them is a joke. Got used parts instead of new parts. Stay away complete ripe off. You think your saving but your really not. If i could give it zero stars i would

Im a mobile mechanic and I been a customer since 2017. Lately this year I been getting a lot of parts that show previous use or defects and rockauto still wants me to pay for the return shipping. First off all this should be covered by them I'm tired of dealing with these issues I'm going to find another online retailer I suggest you do the Same. Rockauto order number *******

Very POOR Part Packaging

Received a fragile part. The package was trashed, part broken. Package was left by FedEx. Packaging is very poor. Called HQ, left a message, a real person called back. New part sent. Received new part. Again the packaging was trashed, and very poor. FedEx dropped and left. I would have refused it in its condition. Part was protruding from the box. Internal packing a mess and ineffective. Box was penetrated at some point and the hole taped over. Superior that a real PERSON called back. BUT I encountered the same issue. Part had slight damage. It is usable. I will never order a FRAGILE part from RO again.

Part does not fit!

I would give zero stars if I could. I ordered a wheel bearing/hub/knuckle assembly UltraPower ******* and the hub has the wrong number of splines. Supposed to have 28, and only has 27. It's been more than 30 days, so can't do anything about it with RockAuto. Had to purchase the correct hub/bearing from a local parts store, press out/in, and spend more $ to get it done right. You can't call RockAuto (online only) and you can't email anyone at RockAuto. Absolutely no customer service! No wonder the part was so cheap (1/3 the price) of any local stores. It doesn't work!

I purchased 2 items one was a Dual Mass Flywheel, and Luk Clutch kit. Flywheel when delivered look like been through a war. Box and packaging destroyed requested a refund. I was denied. Then the Luk clutch kit. The pressure plate clutch fingers were bent. Unfortunately an issue came up and this project was put on back burner. Here now almost 4 months later. I got the car and all my parts to the mechanic and he said that it appeared the clutch pressure plate was wrong and the Dual Mass Flywheel did not match up. So I have requested a refund I would pay shipping and was denied. There customer service is crap! And they basically get your money and as long as you get your part right or wrong. Their done with you. I highly recommend DO NOT USE THEM. UNLESS YOU LIKE TO GAMBLE YOUR MONEY AWAY LIKE I DID...$ 800 GONE!

Torx Brake Caliper Bolt

So I'm replacing a 96 Buick Regals brake pads and end up stripping a caliper bolt, happens to be a torx bolt that I could find at no hardware store, no auto supply. Heck I wanted to buy 4 but I guess this bolt is hard to come by

We bought parts from this company and paid a specific shipping fee in order to obtain the parts by a particular time. In reliance on that timing and the fact that we paid a specific shipping fee to get the parts by the promised time, we arranged for a mechanic to be available to install the parts. The parts are now multiple days late past the promised time, the mechanic appointment had to be cancelled (at our expense) and the Rock Auto "customer service" options only available through their website and no other way whatseover (we tried calling) is truly unhelpful.

We DO NOT RECOMMEND that anyone buy from this company especially since there are so many offering the exact same parts at similar prices with customer service and accountability.

I ordered from them a lot. It was pretty smooth until I needed help from customer service. Like many online companies, they don't have customer service.

Instead, they have options to select, and those options don't describe my problem. I'm stuck in limbo with $100 worth of parts sitting at FedEx that I can't pick up. All they need to do is authorize package pick up. Very frustrating.

I ordered two rear lower control arms and received one in sealed box made in Taiwan and the other was in an opened box with the part number obscured, made in China. Since these are suspension parts are critical to safety, they MUST be a matched set. It was clear that someone in the supply chain deliberately attempted to deceive me (the customer) with a switch of lower quality Chinese parts. It was also clear the Chinese part was inferior to the Taiwanese part and used different hardware which immediately started rusting. I installed the part since I only had one day to do this job and needed the car the next day. Rock Auto cannot be reached by phone. I filled out their "problem" form on their website and it told me no adjustments of any kind was possible in this situation. This is a safety issue and is indicative of Rock Auto's disregard for their customers and failure to make good.

Spent 3 hours trying to work through RA Master Card Verification system
Finally my bank got through to them and upon restarting my cart it finally went through
I did not mention the other cards I tried, the exposure of personal information, even the alternate use of my PayPal account
What a waste
They must have been really desperate over fraud to out this noose over their head

I wish i have read these reviews before i purchase Stuff From RockAuto... Made a Big Mistake Do Not Buy i say it Again DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE COMPANY ROCKAUTO.COM They Should Go Out of Business.
I order for my Kia Sorento 2011 - Two Front >>> MONROE ******* Front Right and MONROE ******* Front Left. Looks Good on Pictures and description looks Great. Order went in i paid around $260 for both. Took them 3days to arrived. It was fast and i was impressed. I opened The box look at it my first impression oh there's a mistake i can tell before even i can open my Car Tire to look at if this match. It was wrong part and plus description on this box was matching the Monore ************** but part was different and no writing on the box plus on the part. How this possible. They sent me wrong part i tried looking at ph no CC Service no Email or talk to. So somehow i got how to returned this i did that i just asked for my money back then they want me to shipped them with discounted Fedex label well they made a mistake why should i pay for it but no answer so i had to do. I shipped them backed. I lost like 40$ out of $260 these people are crook and making money of it shipping. And sending you wrong parts. Cheap and plus really bad service who does business without Ph No and not customer Service. Really these Rockauto need to go out of business. Why we can't do something about these cooks. I upload three pictures of that part they sent me has two sway bar links mine has only one sway bar links so i knew they sent me wrong part...

Wrong Part

They shipped me wrong part and wouldn't ship right part until they received tracking number of returned part. Now shipping correct part 4 days later. Should get free expedited shipping for their mistake. Now I won't have part by the weekend when I was going to do job. There seems to be no way to contact them to complain other than write reviews

Radiator came in box so damaged you could see the radiator inside and that it had been hit with something during shipping, no replacement was offered just was told to try it and see if it's going to leak? Really?

Could not get my refund

I ordered several auto parts from rockauto.com and when I received my parts my alternator was bad and when I called rockauto it was a mam that answered the phone and when I explained to him that I wanted my money back for my alternator because it is bad and I had already purchased a new one somewhere else he was very rude he spoke very quickly and hung up in my face

I have been doing business with Rockauto for years, and I ordered a part for my car which was incorrect.
Since i had exceeded the 30 days for the return, I learned from their online website that it was too late to get satisfaction.
I just want to exchange for the correct part, or get credit, but that is not option.
Each situation is different, and you can't hide behind a website or email when unique issues occur.
What I have learned is that I will not do business with them anymore and will pass the word on about them as well.
To many other auto part vendors out that have BETTER Policy's.
