Trouble everytime with FedEx shipping, delays for several days, late shipping even after rockauto states shipped, returns for any reason costs you, Zero customer service, if you like gambling and shipping delays rockauto.com is for you, I'm headed back to parts geek

Love these guys but they are not perfect.

First off, they ship to Guam where many other online retailers don't. Their prices are also very good. I have ordered dozens of times from them and had received the wrong parts twice. Their return process does though. The site navigation is super easy but sometimes it helps to know the actual part number.

I ordered parts for a few cars and trucks it took some time for me to get around to working on all of them. Now is was a order that was made over 30 day ago so now I have two parts a oil filter and a cv axle which is the wrong parts. So now I have parts which I can't return and I have no idea what car or truck they fit. You can't contact them so I feel this company is more for making money than customers service this is what I call a scam company. So be very careful about dealing with them they will take your money but won't take care of problems they cause. Out of 5 stars I give them a -5.

Knock offs products, they ask me to ship back the bad part and they will replace with the same company made. No customer service to talk to. Sometimes it's hard to do these things without a real person to talk to. I won't use again. I don't recommend specially if you are in Canada, it cost more than the part for shipping and customs and fees. Not worth it.

DHL shipping...

Used Rockauto for years for parts. Never had issues. Put 2 orders for parts in Saturday. Fed ex got one order to me Monday morning but other order coming dhl and will be lucky if I see it by Friday. And it's a smaller order from a closer state. Future orders will continue if coming by fed ex but if I see u.s. mail I'm canceling and ordering from ebay or amazom

Horrible

Rock auto has sent me the wrong part twice. The second time the box was labeled correctly, but inside the box was the wrong part. They do not have a phone number so you have to go online for a return which is nearly impossible. Customer service nonexistent. Save yourself a big headache and do not buy from rock auto. They are an absolutely horrible company.

Second time it happens, first time they sent the wrong spark plugs for my Navigator, they just said to my face you are wrong the parts are right when I have the car taken appart and in front of the mechanic. Second time, despite the part saying it was OEM quality it was trash and barely lasted 8 months, of course, they want me to pay for everything before they even considering sending a new part. F*** that amazonz ebay or your local part store its quite better option

What...you want defective parts replaced?

RockAuto shipped a set of wires and a cabin air filter to me.It was in the middle of the winter so I waited a while for a warm day to swap out the wires. It was my mistake to wait over 30 days. I installed the new wires and the car ran worse than ever. Take the intake manifold back off and double check the wires on the back, They seemed good. Put the intake manifold back on and same thing. Finally after closely examining each wire I found that one of the ends was misshapen. Called Rockauto for exchange. Sent it back to Rockauto at triple the original shipping cost. Rockauto sends out another set of wires, These ones work. Then was charged again for shipping for the wires I returned. Refused to pay 7 dollars and change. Now Rockauto wants almost 50 dollars for shipping.

These people are very dishonest. There is ZERO customer support, and any issues must be addressed in the small area they allow for comments and questions. If you want bad parts shipped with an attitude Rockauto is the place to go! And Rockauto makes it VERY expensive to return their defective parts.

Thursday morning after making sure to pay for International Express delivery, the site was guaranteeing my parts to be here by the end of Friday (next day). When I purchase something from Amazon, I often receive it within 1 or 2 days.
Today Friday at 5:00 pm, I see that my parts are nowhere to be seen. I checked the tracking number provided by this b.s site and DHL shows that my parts would arrive after 4 days. I called DHL and their customer service representative s
Told me that there is no way I could receive my parts today, so call your merchand and they can cancel so you can purchase your parts from the dealer. I had made an appointment with my mechanic and took my day off for tomorrow because I thought I would get my parts today.
I do not understand what kind of business is allowed to be doing business when they don't have a phone number to call and no real life representative!
I sent an email to the email address they say to use if you have a problem and the person or computer's reply was copy paste to go to their site and get help! If I didn't need more help I would not have contacted them trying to get a reply from a real person! I would give minus 10 stars if I could.
I'm very disappointed and so upset with this bs so called business!

Great prices, Quick Shipping

I ordered 2 Monroe quick struts for only $80/each. They arrived the next day. I'm unsure if it's because they were close by or what. I put the boxes in my trunk, had my car guy install them the next day and was happy as a clam.

I called around to some shops to compare prices and the average was ~$900 for parts and labor. I saved $500 by just ordering the parts myself. Rock Auto had the cheapest price compared to other major part sites. Very happy.

Just a little FYI If you ever buy more than one part at a time? Don't think you're ever gonna get your money back for both parts Just for example bought 2 wheel bearings arrived at my address in 1 Box 1 part in a "MOOG" Box other part wrapped in bubble wrap I have return both parts exactly how they were shipped in the box never even took out of the box And they only returned the money back for one part because the other 1 wasn't in a Box that it was not shipped in So basically to make a. Long? Story short. You buy two parts you're only getting returned money back from one because they will not receive the other part that they shipped out in no box So basically they can ship you 2 parts at once one in big box and 1 in the manufacture Box "MOOG" Box other 1 in bubble wrap they will return the 1 in the MOOG Box. But not in the bubble. Wrap how it was exactly shipped to me? Out of Order total $155 and some Change only received $60+ Dollars for the part in the "MOOG" Box and the other part That was shipped in the bubble wrap says non refundable because it was not shipped back in a "MOOG" Box that was not received in the shipment at all. Have fun taking with the BBB=Better business bureau

I ordered four caliper slider pins for my 2004 Chev Trailblazer. They sent three of the correct parts, the 4th was a drum brake hardware kit put in the caliper pin box. I don't think that is a big deal, however them not taking ownership for the shipping mistake and making customers pay to return is BS. People should consider shopping elsewhere. These guys are dirty scamartist

Terrible company

They would get no stars if I could.So, I have been needing a headlight assembly for my car. So they run around 200-300 dollars. The mechanics I have went to told me about this company & a family member of mine ordered from here not too long ago. Around last week I placed a order of $50 dollars which was supposed to been a partial payment. So I contacted them via email ofc bc they don't have a phone number … so unprofessional but anyways I asked them could they refund me they said it was my bank and my bank stated that the " merchant " still is preceding my money. After I emailed them my money was refunded. So this past Sunday I tried to place another order since I was refunded using PayPal's pay later option. The whole amount of $223 were taken out of my account I was highly upset. As you can imagine I emailed them and sent screenshots of the previous day while the order was being place and as well as the payment plan that was supposed to been take place. Then the next morning called PayPal. They told me the merchant *ROCK AUTO* chose to pull the full amount out of my account. So they finally replied to my email and stated they can't assist me with the problem and that the screenshot I have is from PayPal. I stayed that the screenshot was from their site and then I preceded to tell them how unprofessional & unorganized they were. I never received an email back. The package was supposed to been shipped by now & here at my house. $223 plus 10.99 for shipping to not have my package I am highly upset. I am going to dispute this with my bank if it isn't here by Thursday. Below are the screenshots I sent to the company. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. Just go to Autozone or something.

Have some advise/opinion for those that do your own repairs on vehicles or for those that might ever be in the need for auto/car parts. I do allot of my buys online and sometimes will have an occasional problem with a part. Damaged or incorrect happens. I have several times purchased parts from Rockauto and never had any problems and everything went smoothly. I recently purchased a $605 part from Rockauto and I made an error/mistake when I ordered the part. When I got the part several weeks later I immediately found out I had ordered a part for a different model of vehicle similar to mine. Now the only customer service available is through their web site and it's extremely limited and good luck finding a similar situation to what you might be experiencing. So I hoped for the best and requested a return authorization. Printed document that was sent to me and shipped the part back. A week later i received the same box delivered to my house. The return was rejected because the box had become damaged in 4,000 miles of shipping. Now the quality of box was questionable to begin with and it didn't fare well after the first 2,000 miles. Absolutely no way to call and speak to customer service and I've received no response from my email to customer service. So they make returning anything next to impossible and heaven help you if the box get damaged in shipping an item two times. So I'm out $509 for a part that doesn't fit and won't work on my vehicle! Stay away from Rockauto and do business with a company that has customer service to deal with any issues you might have.
