We have had Roblox for the summer of 2020 since May. We and our friends have had mostly trouble.
My child is educated on internet safety and she has reported many things to me as she and her friends come across it. I've also witnessed various con's and pro's.
One of the main issues is with the company and it's handling of those who violate their guidelines/rules. There are many groups that openly bully and admit it yet still are in the games and play often. There are hackers and scammers too that can stay and are only banned from certain games.
The game does an ok job of concealing bad language with hashtags over the offensive words however there are ways to get around this.
You must do a few housekeeping tasks to ensure you are safe from not only certain players but the company itself.
Make sure your children have some education on internet safety.
Make sure you READ all the policies there are many and several circle around to the companies benefit with no recourse but appeal which is usually denied. They stick to the policies with no exceptions. This is good but the individual situations are not reviewed beyond the complaint and the company text.
I've witnessed several bullying situations with my child, her friends and others in the game. There have been comments and actions that are not appropriate for kids at all.
Keep an eye on which games you enter as well. There are some instances of being taken to a private room for in appropriate behavior.
Supervise your children at first and guide them to the safer games (servers). Many are private and are governed by those who create them.
There are ads from various companies. There are also Robux which kids need to get certain things and are often encouraged to buy. You pay a certain amount of money to receive Robux. Kids can earn game money when they do certain tasks or when a pretend check pops up and they click on it. This will only "buy" certain things. For the bigger or more prized items like potions and certain clothes, pets, transportation etc. You must use a credit card to purchase Robux.
My general advice is that the games are more suited toward teens and older. If you have a younger child on be sure to supervise them and watch what they are doing. Be sure they are learning the right things.

I see Hackers everywhere from the best game to the worst game fly hacking aimbot... ect... So if ROBLOX if you read this please ban hackers and don't ban people if they only have reports from the same guy (alts). Cause my old account got deleted because i got alot of reports saying "You Use Aimbot" while i just did a double kill with the laser rifle (TC2) beside those things its a good website and its just good i appriciate the work of this website. 5 star!

DON"T LISTEN TO THOSE BAD REVIEWS. EVEN WITHOUT ROBUX I STILL HAD A BLAST IN ROBLOX. WHOEVER CREATED ROBLOX AND THE GAMES ARE A GENIUS.

Purchased robux for my 9yo son. Never received. Contacted them. They gave me instructions to tap the purchase again but don't press confirm. Followed there instructions and got charged again as there was no confirmation. There dodgy instructions tricked me into buying nothing twice. Asked for a refund but instead of giving me a refund they just send another dodgy set of instructions saying uninstall and start again. Nope didn't work. Never again. Now I need to cancel my sons subscription because I will not deal with rip offs. Down money and 1 upset son. Thanks roblox you such balls.

In the last week both my daughter and her friend have been unable to login. They have both received messages saying wrong password. My daughter has had the same password for 3yrs? When calling Roblox support and the official company number no one answers. She has lost, they have both lost everything they have built, money they have spent, and friends they have made in Bloxburg. She has been so disappointed. I don't think we could go back. :(

It is quite ok, developers work hard on their games. It is the community that is quite bad. I hate the community and how toxic they are. But the games are ok. I insist for you not to waste over 50 dollars on getting items in ROBLOX, there is literally an item called "Korblox Deathspeaker" which costs roughly 200 dollars. They have lowered how much robux you get from purchasing. So if you do not have Premium, then you only get 800 Robux and if you have it, 880. Before with Builders Club, it was either 1,000 robux without it and 1,100 with it. And note these prices are the same, sitting at $9.99. None of the items prices in the catalog changed so it is a scam.
