I was quoted a price for shipment very quickly. Had two follow up Emails to answer questions. Booking on line was simple.
It has been good so far, but what concerns me are all the negative reveiws on Yelp.

Unfortunately, there was quite a bit of miscommunication between office people and the actual driver on this order, as far as specific date/time of pickup was concerned.
It was a good experience. They were very helpful and professional. There was a little confusion with the pick up and drop off date but it was only a day difference.
Road Runner was quick to charge my credit card for the transportation fee, but short on timely response to e-mails and phone messages regarding the status of pick up and delivery. They talk about being able to receive up to the minute status via their website but information on the website is not current, real time. The committed time, day to pick up the vehicle in San Diego was missed as was the committed delivery in Chicago. As the vehicle was delivered in good condition without any damage and transport driver very professional I would conclude the less than satisfactory rating is due to Road Runner administrative processes rather than actual physical car transport.
A final comment regarding Road Runner's service, the above does take into account the original available date for vehicle pick up was changed due to change of deployment dates.
A1 Car Storage in San Diego by the airport is great to do business with and use as a drop off point. Emma and her staff are topline and provided me with pick up information sooner than Road Runner did. 5 Star rating for Ai Car Storage San Diego Airport location.

The driver did not deliver car to the door in fact i had to scramble for a ride to meet him 25 miles away from drop off point.

Customer service was not available over the weekend when changes needed to be made to pickup. This happened twice and actual pickup and drop off times and dates were incorrect.

Called the day that the vehicle was promised for delivery, however the transport carrier had broken down in Georgia. We were not called and notified that the delivery had been delayed due to mechanical issues. Communication was very poor.
