Roadrunner offers a lower price for their transport services, what they do not tell you when they contract with you is that they then have to find a subcontractor who is willing to do the job for the price they quoted. This did not work out well for my company when we had two vehicles sitting at the Port of Long Beach in California, for almost a week, waiting to be picked up. $330 dollars in port fees was the result. We ended up using another firm to transport our vehicles. I was not pleased with the service from Roadrunner. They did not meet agreed upon pick up dates, and customer service was not helpful at all.
Easy to book great quote, but then I was contacted after the pick up date and the quote went up $600. It was picked up not during business hours but at 2am! There was a lot of lost communication with roadrunner as I had to leave multiple voicemails and spend hours on bold to be disconnected. When the vehicle finally made it it was dropped off at 6am instead of 9am. I would never use this company again, just for the lack of communication not even the price jacking.

Fast set up
The shopping experience has been pretty easy and simple. There were no issues and I received my car on time.
Pick up was.5 days late. Didn't know when car would be delivered until one hour before delivery. Delivery wa six days late. Had to rent a car at destination. Car finally delivered at 10:45 pm. Was on hold with customer service for 2 hours before I gave up. Never go an answer about pick up date or delivery date from email. I have never experienced such total incompetence and disregard for the customer in over 50 years of experience in commerce. My advice is shut the operation down, develop a new business model and start over again.
I was surprised that the rate went up from my original quote. The vehicle did not get picked up on the original day I had requested.

Estimated pick up and delivery dates were not even close to reality. Multiple attempts at reaching the customer service line were unsuccessful. Line was always busy, I was placed on terminal hold, then told to use the webpage. I contacted the virtual assistant and left messages, only to get the same canned response. If you don't have sufficient contractors to handle your business between two cities, tell me that up front. Don't enter a contract with me and string me along for 30 days before delivery. The car arrived in good shape but the process from contract to delivery was a communication nightmare.

Answer: There are many shipping brokers and definitely do your research. I've shipped over 12 times and this has been the absolute worse experience I've ever had.
