Trash
May 6, 2019

I've honestly had enough of this game to the point where I am now leaving it and posting these reviews everywhere I can.

In the 3 years that I played it, the same thing happened.

People who int, run it down the lane, people who troll their own team, etc, are ALWAYS allowed to get away with it without any punishment. The second you open your mouth and say anything to them or about them, you will be insta banned.

That's the long story short. Its been like this all the time that I have played it and I've had enough.

Trash, useless people over at riot who only penalize people who try to fight the ones who are being pigs.

I spent money so my son can play with "cool" skins. After a month or so I noticed we wasn't playing it so I asked about it. He said he was getting bullied by other gamers cuz he was still new. He then showed me he was banned for yelling back at them, RIOT even shows you what you said but NOTHING from any of the other kids. They now say they wont refund the $100 I spent so my on son AND he's not allowed to log into his account.

They don't even respond to the real emails after you decide to go past the bots. You can honestly pick almost any other game and the quality of support service will bury these guys. Riot HQ must be like a 1 star motel where the manager lives next door and works when he feels like it. The balancing system has been incredibly weak each time I've tried to rejoin this game. Every adjustment they make is just to make a character broken for a while before they pull back the reigns. The type of game that has a PBE environment for almost no reason because none of the terrible decisions are filtered out.

This company is mostly known for their game league of legends. The game was amazing at first, but now it seems that they just push out skins randomly and do crappy updates every now and then. Feels bad.

Terrible game, stay clear
November 10, 2017

Probably the worst game I've ever played in my life. When you start to think your advancing, You always get matched with idiot feeders and people who just troll genuinely. This stops you from advancing any further in the game ranking system. This also lowers your likelihood to proceed and play this game further. RIOT need to implement better matching sequences, to stop this happening. Possibly by going by people's previous kill rates and win rates... not by bloody levels

Trash
July 26, 2017

This game is trash. Do not waste money on any of their content. They are terrible supporters and do not understand how to make a balanced game. Buggy and terrible to play. Do not install, you will be stressed because the whole community is garbage. Do not buy, repeat, terrible game and trash community. Get good Riot.

Very polished game
April 15, 2016

Continual updates keep the game fresh. Every Riot employee is required to play 2 games each day at work, so they stay current on things (they even have a room to do this in). The game is much less toxic than other mobas are now days (looking at you HoTS!). I suspect this game will be in esports for the next 6-8 years. I believe it's reached the peak, but will fall off very slowly.

Worst. Company. Ever.
December 2, 2015

Riotgames crawled out from the depths of hell years ago and has been feeding on the souls of the young since then.

They have the single. Worst. ""customer service"". In. The. World.

League has the reputation of having the most toxic community out of all games. What does Riot do about that?

Make it worse.

They will ban you for saying anything when you're getting harassed by toxic players. Will they ban the toxic players? No. Why? Because they constitute about 80% (being generous here) of the player base, so Riot would go bankrupt. When you contact them about it, they will send you ALL the copy-pasted answers they have in stock, even when they have nothing to do with your situation. When they finally run out and start half-reading what you send them and replying like humans, they will take the side of the bullies and deny that they are the toxic ones, saying that you're toxic instead (for being the victim of other people's intentional griefing). I'm no SJW, but this is some victim-blaming, backwards "thinking".

So you don't talk then. You mute them. They can still grief with their actions in-game. You report them. And then...

You get banned for reporting them.

What? Yes. It's happened. Hundreds of people were banned for "reporting too many players". They were also given the title of "top 0.1% toxic players". For reporting actual toxic behaviour. Which should be Riot's job to deal with, not the players'.

So to this company, wishing someone cancer and insulting them in every way imaginable is worth a 1 hour long ban or a temporary chat restriction (not even mute).

And being the receiver of that flame, then reporting it so that the game can be rid of toxic players, gets you a 7 day ban if not more.

Just save yourself the trouble. It's not that good of a game anyway. It's addictive because the anger makes you want to prove to yourself that you're better. But you're not. You are the game. Riot is the player.
