I was charged £470 for two visits and they didn't fix the the boiler. I contacted a different company and they said that they should never have touched an unvented cylinder without the correct qualifications. They fixed the problem and charged half the price. Luckily I had before/after photos and their email to prove how incompetent the company is. I reported them to trading standards.

If you pay by credit card then contact them. I got a full refund.

Avoid this company at all cost, rip off and very costly, to replace a toilet flush pump was £155.00, took 15 minutes to fit, and they left a right mess.
Tried to complain which was a waste of time, sent to a answer phone, seriously stay away...

Came out on a Monday to fix a leaky cistern. I find out on the saturday that it's still leaking into the flat downstairs. I was promised they would come on the Monday. I phone to confirm and they said no it would be Tuesday. I reminded them I was promised the Monday and it was to fix a repair that hadn't been done properly. I was told they would be there before 2. I call after 2 and told it would now be before 5. Someone turns up at ten to 5 with no tools. No intention of fixing it just to confirm why yes you are right there is still water coming from the cistern. You need to phone to get the plumber back out. I phone and was told we will call you back. Two hours later no call back and no one there to answer my call. Tuesday I work things round to get the day off to wait in. Phone first thing and told someone is already coming out in the afternoon. 3pm I get told it is now Wednesday. I have asked for my complaint to be put in, a refund on the repair that wasn't done and a cancelation on my care plan. Told why yes of course. It will be 14 days for that to be investigated. Meanwhile I'm now searching for a plumber.

Terrible customer service, engineer damaged shower and caused a leak. Didn't come back to fix it and I had to find a plumber at short notice to fix the leak and the replace the broken part of the shower. No one is taking ownership of my complaint. Avoid

The plumber that came out to me today, slotted back a part of a mechanism, in the toilet, instead of putting a new part in and changed a flexi pipe all for a massive £219 and the flush is no better than it was. I wouldn't use again.

4th May Called this firm. Callout fee would be £119 + VAT. We agreed. Engineer arrived on Wed 5th May as arranged and he determined that the leak as reported was underground below our house. He could not deal with leak but would revert with Quote for work ASAP; we presumed this as we still had the leak.

10th May, Firm called to see if we had received the written quote. No. Actually, they called to take payment for callout fee as well. Honour-bound, I paid this and waited for quote to arrive. Written Quotes for £840 & £1200 arrived 12th May, but their letter was dated 10th May? Seemed a bit suspicious to me.

One to avoid in future I think. Meantime and luckily, we were covered by Homeserve Insurance and the water-supply pipe leak was repaired amazingly on Thu 6th May for the policy excess of just £30 - what a snip!. Premium is £150 p. A. Well worth the initial cost.

We called this company as we had a serious leak and the local Plumber was unavailable. We were charged over £400 for this service. Two filters came at first and then one disappeared for two hours to get a part. When he came back he had the wrong part. Then they both went off and eventually came back with the right part. As I was obviously getting upset at the time this was all taking, I was asked if I would settle for two hours work. I agreed as I just wanted them gone. After they left we found we still had a leak, I rang the company at 9.00 the next morning and it was over 24 hours before someone came. I will never give my debit card details again before the job is done. To add insult to injury, when the invoice came through my signature had been forged twice regarding the time they came and the time they left. I have written to the company but have had no reply. Please do not use this company, they are nothing but cowboys.

Called them out to a leak on the stop tap under the sink. After explaining exactly what was wrong. The plumber arrived and stood leaning in the kitchen door frame, didn't even look at the job. Told me I would have to have the kitchen floor, the lounge floor and drive dug up to put a new mains in. He said job couldn't be done but I wouldn't be charged. I WAS. £128.47. I got an independent plumber out and he put a new fitting on the pipe and fitted a new stop tap. Have been waiting a month now for a response from their customer service's. This plumber didn't show any ID when he arrived, wasn't wearing a mask and didn't even look at the job. Disgusting service.

They went to fix and replace a lost garage door key at my 84 year old mothers house kept her waiting for hours and then charged £173 to put a new barrel in that is the cheapest barrel you can buy disgusting do not use these rip offs £119 for labour when they were there half hour

This is the worst company iv ever known. Dident fix my toilet charged me over £230 when I was quoted £150 was ripped of. And when I complained dident get any refund. Hope no one else uses these cowboys.

Absolutely shocking experience, their engineer left us twice with a non-working gas boiler and we were charged a fortune! The first visit: Instead of a proper examination of the boiler and finding out the problem, he simply exchanged the PCB unit. It didn't help at all and he suggested changing another costly detail - a pump in the system, we didn't agree. First useless visit £870.72, second visit (was promised to be free) - trying to charge £357.00.
Then was refunded the next day after my call. BUT(!) a few months later the amount £357.00 was stolen from my bank account, with no notice and no Invoice! Just have noticed it and will speak with my bank tomorrow! So only £1227. 72 in total and your gas boiler could easily explode after Rightio "service"!
A few days later after their visit, an independent engineer checked the boiler and had to disconnect it immediately as it was in a dangerous condition, with lots of easily visible cracks inside and gas leaking! The new boiler was installed the next day.
I was trying to contact Rightio by email and phone with all the evidence, no response!
DON'T USE THEM, DON'T PROVIDE YOUR CARD DETAILS!
Writing this review I still don't believe that it could happen with me and that companies with such a ​level of service really exist (((
Reported to the Trading standards today as well.

I was quoted £119 plus VAT unblocking a toilet the job should take half an your the engineer spent less than half hour to do the job but I was charged £294! I've tried complaining but there is only a customer service email and no phone line! I had to pay the bill when the plumber left! I've been scammed I will never use this company again please don't use them they are scammers!

Don't even deserve 1 star, but I had to pick it so I could do this review. Came to the house to clear a blocked shower drain. Was here for 37 minutes and charged me £345.60.

I worked for this company... never seen nothing like it. Seriously the actual owner is a web designer, he made a program which takes all the calls and sends the jobs out which is a good platform, however he has no knowledge of plumbing and heating and sets out price guides of how to rip customers off. I did a few jobs for this company and when the customers told me what they were getting charges hourly, seriously my jaw dropped.

I'm just awaiting for the bbc tv channel to have these lot on there program as its just a matter of time...

This company is based in Birmingham, not local to you. DISGRACE TO THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY!

Worked for rightio for a couple of months. In them couple of months I had realised what they're tactic was. They would target elderly and vulnerable customers saying that card details are required to "secure the booking". However there is an option to where customers can pay via cash, cheque or card on site.

Customers are told "payment will not be taken until the job is completed", "90% of the jobs are done within the first hour". These are both lies as you can see from other customer reviews on trustpilot.

I was released from my duties when I refused to take my jacket off in a office where the AC was constantly on no matter if it was summer or winter. If you made any complaints at Rightio, just know that they have been stacked up into a pile with others and there is only 1 complaints handler to deal with them all.

There script had been designed in a way to which if you went court with, it would be won in there favour. Advisors are being told to read the script and lie about what company the customer has come through to.

Rightio is a subcontractor they do NOT have directly employed engineers. The company had changed its named from Rightio LTD to Rightio Subcontractors LTD to avoid any outstanding CCJ's.

When I was let go they had advised me that I had apparently "resigned" when in fact it was a team leader providing false information to HR which led to my dismissal.

£129 upfront told them it was an emergancy water tap blew. Water everywere took 3 hours to come. Then needed parts two taps another£198. But not till the next day... dont go there. Will taking this futher..

Avoid this company at all costs! We were charged £184 for an engineer who arrived and obviously had no clue what he was doing, he advised the cast iron pipe had been repaired, charged us £184 and left our house. A day later the leak started again, numerous calls to Rightio and two further engineers were sent out before I was told they do not have anyone qualified enough to repair the leak and that I would receive a refund. This was at the beginning of December and I am still waiting for my £184 refund having chased them up numerous times.

Overpriced "middlemen" taking a stealing from their customers via local subcontractors of whom most, would only charge not even half of what they charge, plus gibe a better guarantee

Shocking

The worst ever, cost £450 ruined kitchen floor and wall with a huge flood. Will be taking them to small claims court or using home insurance to cover cost as replies are ignored.
