Do not under any circumstance call these scammers, they will rip you off and charge you anywhere between 88.00 + vat per hour and 119.00. +vat per hour depending on your circumstances, good ethical practice right there

Called Rightio Saturday morning to address a leak in one of my rented properties. Very efficient service and a plumber in situ within 2 hours. Fairly priced and good communication- will defiantly use them in the future although not too soon I hope!
20 days after accepting their quote, on the day they said they would start work, Rightio decided that they weren't going to go ahead as it was too difficult. No discussion, no compromise, nothing. I will never use this company. Their customer service is appalling.
Rightio. Asked electriction to switch up breaker, after kettle tripped it. Rightio spark spent almost an hour fannying about. All the time telling my wife how bad the electics were. Its a new build apartment. I was out of town at the time. £164 lighter, the $#*! left. $#*!in out and out snide merchants who prey on house wives or elderly. Do not use ever.
Dreadful people of no use to anyone. Brought me over to the Isle of Wight at great expense to meet a plumber. He didn't turn up and they said he was the only engineer. Refused help to me to find somebody else - said this was against their policy. I asked if I could speak to their managing director. I was told that this is a waste of time because he will not talk to anyone because this is against their policy.
Avoid like the plague - extortionate fees and won't attempt to fix botched service without additional payment or offer any sort of refund.

Pleasant engineer, (though he left a mess behind him!) pleasant chap on the phone quoting the price. Very unpleasant "customer service" person I had to deal with once I was actually over charged on the agreed price. Despite having the agreed price on Rightio paper work, with both the engineer and my signature... I was very rudely told that the quote on the phone (which I was not allowed to listen to) was the quote Rightio would be sticking to. I am disgusted, as I was very certain to ascertain the final price, with no ambiguity whatsoever. The engineer also confirmed the price on the phone with his manager whilst filling out the paper work at the end of the job. Honestly? The price is still good... but fair is fair, and Rightio have been UNFAIR. My elderly parents are getting a new boiler next year, I will ensure we do not use Rightio as a company that is dishonest in quoting does not deserve the business!
Rightio Are Scam Artists
Short story: RIGHTIO charged me £118.80 to send out a plumber for 10 minutes... who misdiagnosed my problem. When I contacted them for a refund, everything went quiet.
Long story: I identified that the stopcock in my house was leaking so called RIGHTIO plumbing service. I explained that I need someone to fix this minor leak, I was told over the phone that I would need to call the water board to send someone out to identify what exterior stopcock belongs to my property and arranged a plumber to come out to fix the problem.
On 03/11/2016 one of RIGHTIO's plumbers came to my house to look at the leak, he advised that he couldnt simply replace the stopcock as the part is no longer in production so would need to fit a different size and replace a pipe, he couldnt do the job their and then because he never had a stopcock key to switch of the exterior water supply nor did he have the required materials to do the job so he arranged to come out on 04/11/2016 to complete the job.
On 04/11/2016 I got a phone call telling me Id need to remove a part of the floor to give the plumber access! This wasnt previously mentioned by anyone. I recently just fitted new flooring in the kitchen costing £870 that wasnt designed to be lifted so I wasnt happy to do this unless it was necessary. I called another plumber for a second opinion as I didnt want to waste money on replacing a section of my floor as lifting it would cause damage to the wood.
The other plumber came to my house on 05/11/2016 to take a look at the issue, he quickly identified that the stopcock could be repaired and removed the packing gland, changed it and sealed the thread. This instantly fixed my problem and took only 15 minutes to fix without even switching off the external water supply, removing the floor or fitting a new pipe and stopcock. The other plumber was critical of the suggestion made by your plumber saying Its totally unnecessary. Further more I saw that replacement 3/4 stopcocks can still be bought online despite what your plumber told me, granted they arent as common but I was told these arent available.
I called RIGHTIO staff on 07/11/2016 and explained that I do not feel its fair to charge me £118.80 for 10 minutes of misdiagnosis from one of your plumbers, I had to call the water board, take time off work to meet with a man from the water board who was also critical about your business practice as he said most plumbers are capable of identifying and turning off the external water supply themselves.
RIGHTIO ignored any emails of phone calls regarding a refund, they take your payment details before a job is completed. That alone tells you that RIGHTIO cannot be trusted. Regardless, I'm working with my large social media fan-base to make RIGHTIO pay. I'll make sure trading standards and every trade review site knows about this. RIGHTIO should have just given me my £118.80, now it's going to cost them four figures in bad publicity. I'm truly happy with my contribution to RIGHTIO's demise.
I have just been called for the third time this week by your team to cancel and rearrange my appointment.
This is unacceptable as he keeps happening on the SAME day during the booked hours.
I have had to take time off work for this three times and nobody turns up and I get a late call.
This is shocking customer service
I called Rightio to get a quote for a plumbing job. That happened - and although expensive I would have gone ahead if they had been able to do the job on the days I had available. They could not so I did not go ahead. Since then I have been harassed with phone calls claiming I owe them money for a diagnostic service I never had or asked for, then threats if I did not pay immediately they would send out debt collectors. I advised them this was a criminal breach and I would take legal advice. This stopped them going any further. My advice is don't ever use them they do not deserve your business.
