1920s amazing quality!

I was beyond happy with the results of my 1920s dress and will be returning for 1950s dresses! The bead work didnt fall apart like most dresses.

Beautiful 1920's Dresses

All dresses were simply gorgeous and very well made. My only problem is I am short and the long dresses were too long and will require alterations. However, if I were taller, would be right off the rack.
Love the quality and prompt shipment of the apparel.

Dress came damaged

I ordered a dress from this site for my las vegas wedding. The petticoat came separate from the dress, the dress got lost in Queens and arrived a few days late, but when it came, I could see through the sealed packaging, it had multiple stains on the dress. I have emailed the company and still have received no response.

Horrible

Absolutely POOR. Do not order a thing from this company. Short story... I ordered a dress for a veterans charity event my husband and I got to every year. Gave myself over month and ordered a dress from their website. Three WEEKS go by and I call customer service. They tell me order hasn't been picked yet and would I like a refund or to wait. UMM seriously. That's when Iwas it no other information. I then emailed got a kick back message explain they were out of town at a festival? Finally just got an email saying they dress is out of stock! Excuse me? What company goes three weeks knowing a dress is out of stock and says nothing to their paid customer...? I'm so stressed out now. I have 2 weeks to find a dress

Not happy

I ordered a whole outfit and paid for expedited shipping. It then told me that it would take an extra few days to prepare my package to ship (which it did not say when I placed the order). I was on a time crunch, but with expedited shipping it would have been exactly on time if not early. I tried to cancel my order after receiving an email and they would not cancel any of my items and said they were already shipped. I got an email a few days later that said the items were shipped, but were split into different shipments.

One package came from China had my shoes and has such a horrible smell to them. The beading is snagged and they are very cheaply made. Glue is very visible and the padding in the shoes is coming up already. I didn't even bother opening the dress, because it came 4 days after my event had ended.

Not very happy with the quality of the shoes or the
Customer service I have received. I also have to pay for shipping to return the items back! I will never use this company again.

Not what you think.

I ordered the 1950s Floral Long Sleeve Patchwork dress for my daughter's high school dance. I checked the address of Retro Stage and it is listed under California, USA. Cool, I paid extra for faster shipping and we waited. The dance date was approaching and no dress so I checked shipping location (which you have to download an additional app to do). The dress was in transit from Hong Kong! Then it sat in customs for a few days. Needless to say, the dress didn't make it before the dance. If I knew the dress was going to be made and shipped from another country, I wouldn't have purchased knowing the time frame we were in. The dress arrived today and here are a few problems noted: hanging threads, the dress neckline is unequal, thin fabric, waistline measurement off from what I ordered, the entire dress on the hanger is lopsided (the sewing is not exact measurements on both sides). Cute dress, poor quality and took longer than expected in shipping. I do not recommend this company.

Ordered 2 same dresses (one for mum n one for me). Measurements are way off. They came much bigger. Dress quality was thin n cheap. I thought it was a genuine USA made dress but turns out it's a cheap china product. I have been wearing dresses for years and have gone through different brands so I know a lot about dress quality. This is something I can get off a china website for no more than 20 bucks. Paid $97 Singapore dollars for it. Utterly dissapointed!

Absolutely love my dress! I got the 1920s fringe dress in red wine. Sizes are true to size, great quality, and came so fast! I can't wait to wear it for my 30th birthday party at a 20s speakeasy!

The wrong product

After waiting 3 weeks for an order of 3 dresses, i recieved an email saying the final piece shipped. That dress came a week later... in the wrong color. I ordered a black dress with gold trim and recieved a gold dress. Gold trim. I sent an email and hope to hear back on how to get my refund. Super disappointed as my event is this weekend and i now have 2 days to find a replacement. I posted pictures of what i ordered and the dress i actually got.

Disappointed

Dress arrived in poor condition with trim not sewn to dress. Bracelet broke when putting it on. Dress was far bigger than measurements on website. Attempts to amend this have been ignored. I will not be buying from retro stage again.

Amazing dress!

The quality is surprisingly fantastic (for the price I didn't expect it).
I followed the sized chart and ordered according to my measurements and it fits perfectly! (Minus length but I'm 5'1 so I expect that always). So excited to wear this to parties.

Birthday clothes

Ordered $200au worth of 1950s products on 3/1. Amazed at the speediness of processing and of delivery as part 1 arrived just 6 days after the order was placed. Products are of amazing quality and fit well. I'm super happy with my purchases and very excited for the second part of the parcel to arrive.
