Horrible experience
November 24, 2025

Placed an order, never received it. Their supplied tracking states they couldn't deliver the order as I had moved and not left a forwarding address. This is a lie, I've had the same address for years. They have made no attempt to fix the situation and will not refund my money. SCAM COMPANY, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

The garments don't look like the quality they do online. The fit is awful - baggy and poorly constructed. Cheap fabrics and trim - I would suggest the website is misleading. This red dress arrived in slashed packaging and badly marked on the front. It looks nothing like the picture on the website and feels like plastic.

Delivery time misleading
October 27, 2025

The site makes it sound like 15 days would be longest time from order to delivery. I placed an order for a Halloween costume Oct. 7th and expected it no later than Oct. 22. My party was Oct. 25. It is Oct. 27th and I still have not received it. I called Retro Stage and requested a refund. They refused and said It is still within the policies delivery time because they took 7 days to process before shipping. They took my payment from my bank Oct. 9. I do not want to pay to ship it back once I finally receive it. I just want a refund now that the item is useless to me.

Absolutely terrible scam

Ordered a Halloween costume on 18 September it's 20 October and still nothing.
Customer service is a joke. I'm not sure why this business is even allowed to continue.

Retro Stage is a joke! As soon as I received my bathing suits, I saw that two of them were not for me. I immediately contacted them to return the items, but did they respond? No! Their so-called 15-day return policy is nothing but a scam. Do not buy anything from them unless you want to lose money.

I ordered an XL. They sent me an XS. I understand that an L and an S really look alike, and it can be easy to confuse them Letters are hard! I asked for my money back. They didn't reply. So I filed a complaint with the BBB. They lied their asses off and said that I'm not getting their emails. I sent proof that I got their emails. They lied again.
This is pathetic. Just refund my $60 and let's move on.

After waiting over a month for my order, I finally received a phone call, supposedly a delivery person was at my front gate with the order. I opened the gate remotely and the driver never came nor did he respond to my text. 2 days later, the website showed my order as " delivered ". When I emailed Retro stage to let them know I did not receive my order and I would appreciate either the order or a refund… crickets! No response whatsoever.

My experience was great because I ordered yesterday morning and received this afternoon so it only took a day for shipping. The price was fair. The shipping was low cost. The fit is perfect.

Bought a swimsuit that was 2 sizes too big, I wrote an email to them 2x and never heard anything back from them and now the "15 days" return window is up. So yea never again.

Ordered a dress based on their size chart. What arrived is something that's at least 3 sizes to small. Tried to return for free and get a full refund. They offered a 10% refund, would have to provide "proof" it doesn't fit, and I would have to pay to return the product. It's been two weeks now and they are saying I'm outside their return window. They only ever answer via email or FB messenger overnight and the phone number goes to the same person you're emailing. There's no way to talk to a different person to resolve the situation. DO NOT BUY from this company.

I purchased 2 dresses and one crinoline. 1 dress and crinoline fit. Other dress I can't even get out very my head. I contacted them and they wanted me to pay for shipping.
Then they contacted me saying write a good review and they would send me another dress and I didn't have to pay shipping. I am supposed to let them see it before they will send it.
Ok here goes sizes are really off be careful. Material and quality is good. They take forever to get to you. I have a dress sitting in the packaging still.
I'm in Canada and those are American prices so I probably won't be buying anymore.

The products were not as advertised on the website and the company would not work with me on a return. Instead, they offered me to pay more money to get yet another subpar item. I requested to cancel the rest of my order after my experience with the first two items and they never sent my refund.

PRODUCTS NEVER RECEIVED

I ordered products from this site April 10,2024. I kept in constant contact with customers service about my packages. I received 2 out of 3 of my packages from this one order. I never received a notification that my last package was delivered until 2 days later. When they did send me proof of delivery, they pictire showed thar delivery person did not put my package on my porch nor attempt to knock on my door. Retrostage said they fulfilled their obligations. They wont so anything about it. Horrible customer service, because I had to make them aware of my order several times, 2 months of going back and forward with them. The location the delivery person put the package at made it accessible for anyone to pick it up from the side walk. The delivery person did make an attempt to even walk up a few steps or near my steps to put my package or toss the package on my porch. Therego the horrible customer service.
Very displeased and disappointed with this company and the delivery company they used. They stated it will take 15 days to ship and get the products but it been over 2 months.
That means money loss on my end. You guys dropped the ball on this order and I'm highly disappointed in the service I received from you about this order.
Never again will I order or make referrals to use this website.

Never again

I ordered 4 items the beginning of June and received a delivery date of June 12th. On the 12 items didn't come. I reached out through their chat but they were unable to help me. Then next day i received a new tracking for June 21st and thought maybe there was a delay. Well come the 21st nothing. So I reached out to customer service and they offered to send me the swimsuits again for an additional charge. I explained to them that it not necessary since I purchased elsewhere. (Swimsuits were for vacation that I was leaving for on the 22nd). Now they are telling me they can not refund nor can they replace the order since they claim it was delivered on the 12 even with me showing them the tracking for the 21st and delivery showing a different state. Horrible customer service. I will never order from this company again.

Positive at 1st

I ordered a bikini, took a while to arrive that's fine. It was lovely. Placed 2nd order. Size was so small. So requested a refund, eventually they got back to me offering to exchange i said no then offered a percentage off and keep the item, said no still waiting for a return label where I've got to pay the postage back!

True Sizes

I liked the items I received. However, U don't think the sizes are true to USA sizes. They maybe more European/Asian body sizes. I still waiting to get Return Information which is not a speedy process.

Dress arrived and is lovely but not at all true to size- despite using the sizing chart, this is at least 2 sizes too small. Ah well, return and try again... no chance. The returns have to be sent to USA at your own cost, will have to obviously go through customs, so a refund won't be forthcoming anytime soon. The most worrying part though? Customer service knows that this is onerous and should know that it's also in breech of UK consumer law to have excessive delivery charges, so they offer a 30% refund to keep a useless item to spare you P&P and them doing refunds, also contravening UK consumer law. There are also laws re online purchases here- they must be refunded upon return regardless of the reason for the return (but unworn and in perfect condition) that are being blatantly ignored.

Very dodgy, either amateurs or scammers. Either way, reported to the relevant authorities. Also, have a look at the good reviews... bots all over the facebook ads as well.

Don't waste your money here- poorly cut clothing and a returns process designed to convince you to keep items that are useless to you.
