I recently purchased a dress from this site for the first time. The dress fit true to the chart sizing but I was too short for the full length dress with no time to alter it. I returned the item and was fully refunded. The process, while a bit cumbersome, was assisted very nicely by customer service representative, Bree. She was very helpful. Whole process took three weeks but went very smoothly with lots of professional communication by Bree. Only cost $8 to return too. I will order from this company again.

I ordered a dress on December 2nd to wear for a roaring 20's party in December and paid for expedited shipping as I wanted to ensure it arrived in time for the party. I was hesitant so I called to cancel the order only to reach no one. After several attempts, I left a telephone message. That night I received a tracking email from Bree that the dress had shipped. I immediately sent an email asking that the order not be sent and canceled. No dress, no communication and 4 months later, today I received an email saying the purse that I'd purchased as part of the order is being shipped. This is absurd! Now I have to contact my credit card company to dispute the charge that I canceled the SAME DAY maybe ten minutes after placing the order.

I cannot comment on the quality because I never received the dress/earring. Stay away unless you can wait four months to receive your order.

I went into store to check availability. Not the style I wanted but I did find I'm not a medium. I'm a small. Good to know.
When dress came it was exactly as described and very comfortable. I feel sexy in it!

My 20's dress and headband arrived super fast. I ordered it for a roaring 20's theme affair. It was wonderful. I thought for the price it would be a single use dress, I was so wrong the quality is such that I can wear it many times. So glad I bought it. Both the dress and headband fit perfectly, very true to size.

The dress is a joke. Bought the bundle so the petticoat would match. Got a dress that is NOT even cut to accommodate a petticoat, and the "matching" petticoat is 6" longer than the dress. They want me to pay to return their dress and will only issue me a refund IF they feel the dress is in good condition when they get it back. Do not do business with these people. They're going to send you a low quality knock off that isn't what they advertise and then screw you on a return

Stunningly Beautiful!

I bought two dresses for one event because I wasn't sure if they would fit right. Both dresses were stunning and I had a hard time choosing which one to wear! I had to make a few minor adjustments with the sewing machine to get the right fit in the bust, but that was to be expected and only took me a few minutes. They were lined, and very well made, I chose the blue flapper dress with iridescent bead work and got many compliments on during the event. Several ladies asked me where I purchased the dress and I was happy to recommend Retro Stage! I will definitely buy from them again!

I LOVE My New Dress!

I absolutely love my new dress!
It fits perfectly and, unlike most online clothing, or just clothes in general, they are honest with their sizes, even allowing a bit of space for normal under clothing.
I can't wait to receive my next order from them!

I ordered two dresses on December 2nd to wear for the New Year and paid for expedited shipping as I was only going to be at that address for another two weeks. One dress arrived but the second one didn't. I have been trying to get a refund for three months now. They are saying they won't give a refund unless I can provide a tracking number. But I NEVER received the dress. The tracking number they sent me to track that dress says it was unable to be delivered and was returned to the sender--them! Yet they still refuse to give me a refund for something I never received and was returned to them!

Besides that, the dress that did arrive I wanted to return and I JUST got that money back this past week.

The quality of the dresses is low, but since I was going to use this for a costume I was fine with it. I'm not fine with the fact that you can't get anyone who speaks English/is willing to help. I want my money back. This is beyond ridiculous.

Red Checked Dress

I received my 1950s red checked dress within 7 days of placing my order! I followed the size chart and it seems to be true to the recommended. It is super cute and quality equivalant for price. I wasn't expect g a side zip, a pleasant suprize! I am still waiting on a 2nd dress i ordered at the same time.

Amazing Quality!

This was a last minute order and I was not sure if it would be be very good quality. I still can't believe how nice the fabric and sewing is on this dress. Even the beads that came with the bundle have a heavy wieght. For the price I paid I feel like I am stealing from this company! Thank you for such great quality in your products. I also ordered 2 different sizes to try. I feel the size was right on. My return of the unused dress was easy too.

I ordered a variety of items. The 1920's Dark Green Flapper Dress, The Beaded Shawl to go with it, the Apricot Sequin Apricot Gatsby Maxi Dress (pictured), and more. Love all of them. I plan to use them for photo shoots with my business. My daughter couldn't wait to put on the items! They are exactly what I expected.

I think it is important to support American companies, I did not realize this brand drop ships directly from China, as soon as I realized this I sent them an email to cancel my order, they waited until just after my package shipped to tell me it cannot be canceled once it is shipped. My order came in two parts, the first came promptly, the second was 3 days late after waiting for nearly 2 weeks. The quality of the items are so so, see through, kinda costume-like, but they are pretty. I don't plan to return, however it needs to be mentioned this company ships directly from China and the quality is as such, slow shipping, and I don't anticipate these items lasting a long time.

I ordered a dress from retro stage, they took my payment, and then weeks later told me the dress I ordered was actually out of stock. I requested a refund immediately, and it has been 17 days and I still haven't gotten my refund. This business is extremely disorganized and unprofessional.

Do not buy from this store. I ordered a dress and accessories for a party. They said it would take up to 15 days to be delivered it took over a month so I had to get another dress for the party. When I asked for a refund they said I would have to pay the postage to the warehouse which was really expensive but I decided to do it because I no longer needed the items. The parcel arrived at their warehouse and was signed for, I followed every instruction they gave me and have sent numerous emails to follow up on the return but I still have not been able to get my money back! Its been more than a month since it arrived at the warehouse. My tracking number is Tracking Number: LK*******AU order number is FD*******
