I purchased my 1st dress a month or so ago and I LOVED it. I immediately ordered 3 more! The fit is perfect. The weight of the fabric is just right and just the right amount of give. Order the crinoline slip for the perfect look! I will definitely order again. 100% recommend.
I ordered the1950s Patchwork Bowknot Swing Dress on pre sale. Because it was 100% polyester it feels like a cheep costume dress from a halloween store. I am glad I noticed the buttons were glued on. So when I put it in the dryer the buttons came off. Even the bows did too! I chose the small size so it could hug my form nice and well. The one English letter on the Chinese tag said small. It was not a small size, it might have been a large size. I am glad I can sew, this dress needs to be fixed.
If Retro stage is outsourcing, please make sure it is a quality source. I honestly hope that their other outfits are not like this one. Because there are a few other ones I would like to wear. But I am very hesitant to get more.

I pre-ordered a swimsuit and was bummed it wasn't going to be available for a few weeks. However the customer service was good and they gave me a discount for my next order to compensate for the long wait! Also, they have a great selection of decades and styles to choose from!

I ordered three dresses from the company. They sent them three weeks later. I was traveling when they finally arrived. Two didn't fit but when I tried to exchange them, I was told I had passed the 15 day return policy deadline. I wrote to explain the situation, and they said they could not make an exception to their policy. Very backward thinking in terms of their business practices. Certainly not a customer-friendly business.

Chinese warehouses with a call center in US. They don't answer phones or emails. Has been 3 months and still have not received product or refund. Finally q lady called me back and claimed she is the manager and the only person there who we could talk to. She threatened to hang up on me if I wouldn't trust her to refund money with no receipt. The phone number is not in the US or shows as a business on Google search. Please do not risk you credit card, personal information or patience with this 3rd party scaming company. I could learn to make the dress you want faster than you can fight the charges on your credit card

I love this dress! It was totally worth the wait. It took about a month but came in a nice package. It was totally a wonderful dress because of the breezy, light, comfy material. The pattern was very fun with the flamingos. (Got the 1950s flamingo swing dress) I will definitely order again and highly recommend their wonderful, creative clothes!

Both orders I have placed have come in a timely fashion.
My first order was the 3/4s sleeve floral embroidery dress and white crinoline. Both items fit according to the size chart. This order also included the 1950 Turquoise striped romper and skirt shown below! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this outfit and the fit is spot on.
My second order was the white backless pleated skirt swimsuit and it too fit perfect according to the size charts.
I also ordered the dress to benefit Autism awareness, also down in the pictures. Once again I ordered according to the size chart and found the dress to be a size too big. The material and workmanship are great. The company has been great working with me to return this and get my hands on a size smaller.

I LOVE retro stages collections! I've bought from them for a few years now and they've always fit like a dream. More specifically their 50s dresses and petticoats! Careful though, it's easily addictive to buy from them. My experience with this company was terrible from start to finish. After well over a month I received my item. The cut, quality, and size were all way off. Worst of all, it arrived without a clasp rendering it completely useless. After far too much back and forth with the vendor, they decided to refund me everything except the shipping. I am done fighting with them, and they are sticking to their guns - so I was forced to pay to ship a piece of trash all the way from China. They also attempted to bribe me to leave a good review.

I have to admit, I was worried purchasing from this shop. I didn't know what to expect or if it would be in my size. I got the first part of my order today and the swimsuit was AMAZING! It fit so well! It's made out of the same materials as swimsuits I had when I was a life guard! This swim suit looks sooooo good and makes me feel so feminine (even though I am plus size). I cannot wait to get the next one. I also am interested in Retro Stage expanding their plus sizes. If the quality keeps up, they have found a new satisfied customer.

I purchased an item for my wife for Mother's Day and she noticed the fabric had a big misprint what looked like the fabric was wrinkled when the pattern was printed. I sent pictures of the item to retro stage and told them I would like to exchange it for another, they have a 100% satisfaction guarantee. They emailed me back offering $10.00 so that I could take the garment to a tailor to have it fixed. I told them that is completely absurd and that there was no way it could be fixed.

Answer: XL is a Uk size 14 you have to look at the measurements not the Uk and Us sizes as they are a bit out. The sizing chart is at the bottom of the page of the required item go by the cm, s or inches
Answer: Hah, good luck. I returned mine over 6 weeks ago and still haven't gotten my refund. I won't ever order from this company again. Terrible service.
Answer: It's coming from China and takes 60 days… they add a s"order shipped but it's not shipped… it's a scam sight. Call your bank and dispute the charges.
Answer: I would say yes, China sizes. I ordered 2PCS White Blouse Top & Suspender Pants - White / XL / 10~12 and the size was smaller than a 10, about an 8, but you couldnt wear the pants anyway, so doesnt matter. They list XL as 10-12 but i would still size down and with how the pieces vary greatly, that might still be false.
